  • We would rather keep this place a SECRET!

"What can I say about it? This condo is the best place we have stayed in Puerto Vallarta and would come back here in a heartbeat to stay at this one! This place is perfect! In fact, we had much discussion about whether or not we should even post a review or not. We would like to keep this one for ourselves! Yes it's that good! Purely selfish intentions on our part. But after we re-read everyone else's posted reviews. We decided, what's one more fantastic review going to hurt. It is a large condo with the Mexican décor and flare! Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are perfect, plus a large kitchen with cupboards galore and they are filled with all you need to live here! The location is just perfect! Walking distance to everything! We were there off season, so yes there was construction, but it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed ourselves and just loved it! There was only one drawback, and that was the internet. The wireless did not work in the condo. We had to go down to the lobby to make our mini tablet connect. The internet works fine if you hardwire it to a laptop, which we didn’t bring. But all in all, we loved this place and will definitely come back! Thank you Craig for graciously renting your condo to us! We appreciated all your professional attention!"

  • Great Spot in PV!

"Great location close to everything in Old Town, but in a quiet spot away from the hustle & bustle. We stayed for 5 nights to attend a wedding and really enjoyed Casa Valentin! The roof top deck is a sweet spot to hang out, and has great views! The keys were a bit tricky and somewhat of a hassle at times, but we got the hang of it. Make sure you print out the map that Pam sends to show your cab driver, as it is a bit tricky to find at first. It is a bonus that each bedroom has its own bath, plus there is a bath with shower on the living room level if you have someone using the Aerobed there. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely stay again when we are in PV!"

  • Great location, great value!

"What a wonderful property for so many different reasons! Among the highlights..... 1) Layout - the condo is on the second floor of a 6 floor building. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and has the amenities that make a good vacation great (e.g., washer / dryer, full kitchen, water-cooler size jug of drinking water, etc.). There are lots of beach towels provided, so one less bulky thing to pack or buy. The TV is small and does have cable, although it's mostly Mexican cable channels. The wireless Internet works well, but note that the range is limited and works best in the living room / dining room / kitchen areas. There are also two wired phones provided for free calls - one for calls within Mexico, and a Vonage phone for calls to the US. Both were of great use to us when making extended calls to airlines to change travel arrangements. 2) Location - the condo building is accessible via a wide alley off a somewhat busy street. It is completely safe, and being off the main street means far less traffic noise. There is a security gate to access the stairwell, so random people cannot get into the building easily. Los Muertos beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are 3 small convenience stores on 3 successive street corners walking North on the main street - any of them will have what you are looking for (although I recommend the Oxxo on the 3rd corner). There are numerous restaurants along the beach and elsewhere in the Romantic Zone. The Rio Cuale shopping area is a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk at a normal pace. 3) Other Benefits - on the roof of the building, there is a small but nice pool along with several lounge chairs. There are good views of the bay, and it's a great place to get some sun without the sand. There is also a bar (unstocked) with bar stools, and a bathroom. Take a look around in the condo, especially in the cabinets, etc., before buying anything...the pantry in the kitchen has lots of sunscreen and some basic medial items, as well as some games (Uno, Chess, Backgammon, etc.). In the bathrooms, you will find shower gel and shampoo, hand soap, etc. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building manager Guillermo (Memo for short) is available 24x7 for any issues or questions. He is one of the nicest people around, and takes the time to make sure everything is right. His wife is also the housekeeper and does a fabulous job. In short, you will have a hard time finding a better value for your money!"
