  • Fantastic experience, highly recommended, minor forgivable wrinkles

"We had a fantastic experience at Villa Francisco and hope to return again in another year. The staff was wonderful and a special call-out to the chef, David, who made AH-MA-ZING meals for us. It was truly like eating in a gourmet restaurant every night, he had great suggestions and was incredibly easy to work with. The property itself is quite lovely, perched way high on a hillside above Puerto Vallarta, spectacular views. The master suite and the two other suites (Verde and Azul) are amazingly spacious and well appointed. Our only disappointment with the physical property is that you have to walk through bedroom #5 to get into bedroom #4 - thankfully we were all good friends in this slightly awkward layout. The minor wrinkles? Several of the in-room safes didn't work, and despite attempts to repair them, still didn't work at the time we left. Our grocery list seemed to serve more as general guidance than an actual list, though thankfully the staff was gracious about taking back the Costco/Kirkland Wine and Tequila that were substituted for what we'd actually requested. The car service we requested through the concierge showed up 2 of the 3 times we requested for airport transport, though the concierge immediately fixed the problem by getting a taxi when the car service didn't show up. These are all manageable issues and not surprising when traveling outside of the U.S."

  • Excellent condo with an amazing view

"I must say that this property was beyond my expectations. My first surprise was that it was closer to the Malecon than I thought. Still needed a taxi because of the mountains but it was only about a 5 min ride. I had the top floor and it was fantastic. I usually was at the bar and in the pool. My sister was on the 1st floor and it was great. The kitchen was beautiful and it was great to cook with the fantastic view of the bay and the city. Lette was wonderful upon arrival with Margaritas and salsa. Hector the taxi driver was very good and extremely helpful. Unfortunately we did not partake in Lette's cooking services because we all liked to cook and 3 of the 5 of us were from Mexico so we had a great variety of Mexican and American cuisine. I would certainly do this again. This was the first time I stayed away from being right on the Malecon in Old Town and I was reluctant at first but very pleasantly surprise at how wonderful this experience was. I would certainly recommend this condo!"

"The experience was one of a kind. The staff is AMAZING!!! Juan will help you take care of everything. They're all so courteous and the food is fantastic. The Villa is beautiful and they all treat you like royalty. Most of the people that went said it was the best trip they have ever experienced. Sim, the owner was very helpful with everything as well. We WILL BE RETURNING TO THIS VILLA. Thanks for everything Villa Las Palmeras! Beautiful views and so close to beaches, fun restaurants and anything else you might want!"

  • Amazing property!

"We had a great time at Casa Vista Linda! We travelled with our 17 & 19 yr old children and they both brought friends. The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kids especially liked the t.v. room where they could hang out in the evenings and watch movies etc., while my husband and I would sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The only downside is the wi-fi is pretty iffy, so if you don't have an international calling plan to set up a hotspot, you would need to be near the modem. Alfredo met us at the house when we arrived, (used the driver service) and he had previously stocked the kitchen with everything we requested. We used the cook for breakfast and lunch one day which was very nice. Eva the maid is great too. The walk to the beach is down the cobblestone street and the stairs, (155) but really not bad at all, although with small children I may recommend a taxi. We took the bus to Mismaloya one day for jet skiing and for 8 pesos it can't be beat. Just walk down to the hwy 200, cross the street, and wait at the big rock. The bus comes every 20 minutes and the ride is about 30-40 minutes. The Sea Monkey on the Malecon has great food and $1 beers. Near there is the Loco Langostino, where you can sit upstairs in the breeze and get a bucket of 6 beers for 100 pesos. There is parasiling, snorkeling at Los Arcos and of course tons of shopping. Very safe to walk around, lots of Americans, gay couples, great restaurants and tequila shops as well. We will definitely be back!!"
