  • Great condo...exactly as advertised!

"Kelly & Angela's condo, On the seventh floor is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there so much - great terraces, fabulous sunsets, wonderful amenities, and quick walk to all that old town has to offer. The condo is well equipped - loved that they have 2 coffee makers for us decaf and caffeine coffee drinkers! BBQ worked good for cooking fresh fish for dinners on the terrace. The unit looks just like the pictures....no exaggeration there! The owners have a great property manager, Frederick, who met us when we arrived at Molino de Agua to check us in and show us around, and he was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We look forward to coming back next year! Thanks, Kelly, for sharing your PV home with us!"

  • Casa De Apollo is Perfect!

"We stayed at Greg's condo for two weeks and loved every minute of our stay. The location is perfect, oceanfront, 5th floor and you can spend hours sitting on the large balcony listening to the ocean or watching the activity along the malecon. The pool is located on the roof and is lovely with amazing views. The condo is very comfortable, has everything you need and we loved the Mexican decor and artwork. Located in Old Town, it's a perfect location with so many amazing restaurants to choose from. We especially loved Kaiser Maximilian, Barcelona Tapas, Fajita Republic, La Palapa to name just a few of the great restaurants. Wandering the streets of Old Town is fun, with so many lovely shops with amazing bargains. Greg is great to deal with and was very responsive to any questions during the rental process. Muchas Gracias Greg for allowing us to spend time in your condo!"

  • A good deal

"From my memory of reading over the property description and the other reviews, everything was accurate. Compliments (the Good): 1. The owner responded to questions very quickly and was honest and forthcoming with answers. I felt comfortable with all transactions. 2. The condo is in very good condition. I was especially impressed with the quality of the kitchen and the quality/effectiveness of the air conditioners. 3. The bed (at least the one in the master bedroom) had a very good mattress for a vacation rental. It was softer and more comfortable than most. 4. The location is about as good as you're going to find in the "Old Town". It's on the beach, on the Malecon, and very close to pretty much everything in that neighborhood. If you're looking to stay in this part of Puerto Vallarta, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better location. 5. The building staff was very good and courteous. The cleaning staff is top notch. 6. The rooftop swimming pool is very nice. It's not one of the new and popular "infinity pools", but if you stand up you can easily see the ocean and a very nice 10th floor view of the entire area. Suggestions (the Bad): 1. My biggest complaint was the thin curtain in the master bedroom. It was utterly impossible to sleep-in past dawn, first of all, but..perhaps even worse...there is a lot of light that comes through at night due to the street lamps on the Malecon. Frankly, I was a little upset that anyone would just assume that everyone in the world is a "morning person" and be able to deal with such bright light at night and in the mornings. I believe that all hotels and vacation rentals should have thick (preferably "black out") curtains available...just as most good hotels already do. For those that prefer more light, it's easy to move them aside. 2. While I know that the owners can't control when construction happens, I do expect for hotel and vacation rental owners to inform me about upcoming construction so that I can make an informed decision on whether I want to stay or not. The building is almost entirely concrete, so there was jackhammer drilling non-stop all day, Monday-Saturday ..from multiple locations in the building. 3. The condo stank of old wood when we arrived (especially the second bedroom). It was pretty unbearable until we got some air fresheners from MEGA (although having the building/cleaning staff turn on the A/C before we arrived would have helped... It was VERY stuffy.)"

  • Fantastic

"We have been to Puerto Vallarta 4 separate times. The other times we stayed at traditional, but lovely hotels. This time we thought as we were bringing our adult children, and their significant others, maybe we needed some more room. This was our first experience with VRBO. Certainly the unit looked nice on the website, but you never know in person. The property manager arranged for us to be picked up at the airport. We got to the complex, and got to the unit, and it was beautiful. The views, the open doors, the kitchen, the new gas grill, it couldn't have been nicer. We overlooked the pool, the bay, the old town. We were steps away from a private beach area, and steps away from town. So much to do, so much to see, and so much to eat. Thanks Marlene for letting us share your property for a week! It was delightful."
