  • Fabulous Home, Exceptional Owners!!

"Casa Ladera is a gorgeous villa located right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. We rented the villa for a family of six (including 4 "twenty-somethings") over the Thanksgiving week and we could not have had a more wonderful experience. The central location meant each of us had complete freedom to do whatever we wanted to do whenever we wanted to do it! The beach, the bars, the restaurants, the shops, the Malecon, the flea market, etc. were so convenient and accessible! Of course, Puerto Vallarta is quite hilly, the streets are cobblestone and the sidewalks are uneven. The walk to and from Casa Ladera is no exception and could be a consideration for people with physical limitations or who just don't like to get exercise! The house itself is very open and beautiful (huge wooden doors open on three sides of the main living area), with a pretty view of the bay and the nightly fireworks show from the pool area. Each of the four spacious bedrooms (also equipped with huge wooden doors) has its own beautiful bathroom, plus there is an extra bathroom with a shower for pool or guest use. The whole place is very comfortably furnished with classy and interesting pieces, and the kitchen is very nicely equipped if you choose to do any cooking. We went to the fish market and got fresh fish for our last night, which we rounded out with all the leftovers from the week-fantastic!) Upon arrival, the house was fully stocked with all of the groceries, beers, etc. that I had requested PLUS guacamole, salsa and margaritas all made and ready in the fridge!. Additionally, Patricia and Ivan prepared a yummy breakfast daily which was a most delicious and special treat! We only had them prepare dinner one night, which was also fantastic, because we really wanted to check out the restaurant scene (so many great choices). Patricia made up all the rooms as well each day with fresh linens and towels. Lastly, the owners, Mark and Keith, are so helpful, kind and considerate! They know the area really well and are generous with advice if you request it. Two of my sons had very late flights out on the last day (one at 6 pm and one at 11 pm) and, since it turned out no one was checking in that day, Mark and Keith let them use the house for the entire time so they wouldn't be homeless and/or we wouldn't have to rent a hotel room for the day. I can't even begin to express how much we appreciated that kindness! Cheers! We will definitely be back to this beautiful home!"

  • Great place to stay and very economical!

"We just spent a week at the Amapas apartments. We were very pleased with the apartment; and it's proximity to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops and market square. We walked everyday along the Malacon and enjoyed a coffee after supper at Dee's coffee shop (like a Starbucks or Second Cup). The apartment was very clean; and a cleaning lady came in partway through the week to straighten up and provide fresh towels. We felt safe in the neighborhood and never saw any negative activity. We would definitely recommend this condo and in fact, plan to return."

  • Comfortable well appointed with a great location and awesome view

"Owner and on site personnel very easy to work with. Charming studio very clean and recently upgraded. Entire property is going through a renovation. Would most certainly book again and recommend Ralph's property. Sleeping area with smart TV has AC and block out curtains. Open secure sliding doors to open air kitchen and dining nook leading to a balcony with potted tropical plants and a wonderful view of the bay and beach below. Located one floor up from street level this property allows privacy and easy access to town and small stores for general staples you may need. Some of our favorite go to restaurants were discovered to be close by. Cocos Kitchen, Taste, Jorge's Hideaway and El Set to name a few. This being the 14th visit to Puerto Vallarta and always finding new properties and neighborhoods to discover and frequently repeat accommodations when available, we would be happy to return here someday. Very safe and well maintained. Thanks for an enjoyable time. David and Kevin from Denver"

  • Great location, awesome rooftop pool and nice condo

"We loved the location and its accessibility to old town. The roof top pool was simply amazing with sweeping views of Banderas bay and PV. The condo was well apportioned and had all the ammeneties you could ask for. We only made breakfast and ate out the rest of what time so that wasn't real important: The only reason I did not give it five stars is that the bedrooms face the highway. The master bedroom with the king bed was reasonable well insulated from the noise however the other smaller bedroom with the Queen is crazy noisy. The sliding glass doors open to a small deck right in the highway and there is traffic 24-7. I had to go sleep on the couch in the living room (which fortunately was reasonable comfortable) the whole time and my wife used ear plugs which I can't do. If you are just one couple this place will work just fine orherwse keep looking."
