"My husband and I had a wonderful time In PV. This condo was just like the pictures show and more. We really felt at home on our vacation. Loved the view of the ocean . In the evening a spectacular show of fireworks. Close enough to the shopping and dining area, but far enough away for the peacefulness of PV. We even enjoyed the challenge of climbing the many stairs to the condo. Patti greeted us and helped us off. Great lady. Hope to be back."

  • Amazing Villa & Staff!!!!

"From start to finish Jose and the staff are truly amazing people. Jose the owner is very communicative and is very fast at returning calls & emails. The house is just amazing. The location is awesome just about 25 minutes South of PV in Mismaloya. The house staff Roglio & Fida are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Fida is an amazing cook! She cooked 4 dinners for our family of 8 during our 5 day trip. Fida also made breakfast and had coffee ready every morning. Drinking coffee and the amazing views on the upper terrace can't be beat!!! Rogelio was our driver as the house comes with a large SUV to be shuttled around in (make sure to fill it up before you leave). Couple things to pay attention to. Playa Mismaloya which is at the bottom of the hill. The beach is infested with sand fleas, you can read Trip Advisor for more information. My family was severely bitten by these nasty little bugs. No sand fleas at the Villa I'd like to mention. Can't drink the water at the Villa!!! Be very careful about this. Brush teeth with bottled water. If there is room in the SUV go to Costco before you arrive at the Villa, this will save time. Don't worry if you forget anything on your list, there's a few little stores at the bottom on the hill that Rogelio can run down and grab for you. Also, the staff has very limited English, which isn't a problem, we used Google Translate quit a bit to communicate. The Villa does have WiFi. I would 1000% recommend this Villa!!!! Hope you enjoy!"

  • Speechless!!

"There are not enough words to describe this penthouse. The pictures, although accurate do not give its due justice. All the wonderful reviews are simply not enough credit. The owner is super hospitable, welcoming and beyond nice. This penthouse literally took my breath away when I entered. We left all the doors open to the balcony the entire time and the views are just amazing! Taxis are plentiful just at the bottom of the funicular or you can take a short walk to town or the beach. The sound system is amazing and Don has a great selection of music and books. There are a bit of stairs to climb but it is so worth it! We have already decided to return to Puerto Vallarta next year (annual rerurns are a strong possibility) and would never consider staying anywhere else. There is no resort that can compare to this lovely, unbelievable home. If you are considering Casa Divisadero stop your search and complete your booking now. You will not regret it. Our only regret is not staying longer!!! Thank you Don for opening your beautiful home to us!!!"

  • Two weeks in paradise

"You really won't want to leave the pool and deck overlooking the ocean. Comfortable and well equipped in every way. We didn't rent a car and found the buses were very easy to use to go downtown to eat and go grocery shopping. The one downside is that there are almost no restaurants or grocery shopping within walking distance, except for the restaurants (by the pool and inside) at Garza Blanca across the road. Beaches are marginal, but again, you won't want to leave the pool and deck. We ventured out to Mismaloya several times (great snorkeling, good beach and fun to watch the fishermen) and wished we had taken the boat to Yelapa (go to Mismaloya, the tours to other locations are cheaper than leaving from downtown). Everybody we worked with, from the owner, manager, housekeeper and pool guys, were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the roof of the property on the other side of the pool was being repaired the last two days we were there. We would definitely come back here again."
