  • Can't wait to come back!

"We loved our stay at Lila’s condo at the Avalon in Puerto Vallarta. I should start by stating that we are owners of vacation rental properties ourselves, and believe that we have pretty high standards for vacation rentals. This place exceeded our expectations. Once we arrived, we didn’t want to leave. The view from the condo is absolutely breathtaking. You can see the entire town and the bay. The central living, dining and kitchen area opens out to the balcony with folding floor-to-ceiling glass doors, so we had them open almost the entire time, so it seemed like you were staying in an enormous outdoor lanai. The master bedroom has a huge bathroom and the bedroom opens out to the personal infinity-edge pool that we kept nice and warm, and enjoyed for hours each day. The condo sits just below the penthouse which extends out farther than the other balconies below, so our balcony was extremely private, and is shaded all day long. If you want to sunbathe, you need to go down to one of the shared pools. The second bedroom was comfortable as well, with its own beautiful bathroom. Since the place was just re-done and recently furnished, the enormous kitchen was sparsely outfitted with supplies, etc.., however after discussing this with Lila, she said that she planned on providing more items. The internet was spotty at best, but again, Lila said that she was working on that. I’m optimistic that that shouldn’t be an issue, because folks in other units in the building weren’t having those issues. The building itself was incredible. The modern architecture is impressive, with lots of interesting water features throughout. More than once, when we mentioned where we were staying, friends who know Puerto Vallarta well said that the Avalon is considered one of the very best places to stay. The staff working at the front desk was really nice and friendly, as was the bartender at the pool bar. I used the gym, which was incredibly well outfitted and clean. There are two spectacular enormous pools on the property. One was heated with a swim-up bar, which was where most people were hanging out, but the other one (not heated) was really quiet and incredibly beautiful. I’d love to hang out there when the weather is really hot. We would definitely recommend the place, and hope to return soon."

  • Beautiful!

"We stayed at Amy's Condo for Christmas and it was absolutely gorgeous. The condo is more spacious than we expected, the patio overlooks the beach and you sleep to the sounds of the waves breaking. The staff at the condo could not have been nicer, everyone was helpful, courteous and outgoing and made our stay perfect. The grounds are amazing - several pools, a nearby restaurant and a pristine private beach that pictures do not really do justice. What's more, we booked with Amy at literally the last second before our flight and she made sure that everything was in order and taken care of in a very prompt and welcoming manor despite our rush. We can not recommend it enough. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas!"

  • An amazing girls trip!

"We had an amazing week at Casa Marilu! The house is gorgeous and the view of the bay and Los Arcos is simply beautiful. 7 of us slept comfortably - 5 ladies celebrating 50th birthdays plus my stepdaughter and her friend. Everyone was happily spoiled by our experience here. Cesar, the house man, was wonderful and helped us make all arrangements for meals and activities including a boat trip to Yelapa, snorkeling, and taxis into Puerto Vallarta. Armando, the Chef, cooked restaurant quality meals and accommodated several people with food allergies - corn, dairy and gluten. Suzy kept the house spotless. We felt completely safe with the security guard outside at night. We enjoyed yoga in morning either on the deck or the private beach below, taking a dip in the pool after soaking in some sun and walking to the quiet little town of Mismaloya. We ventured into Puerto Vallarta two of the days of our trip. Zona Romantica for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat at a small bistro is a must. We zip-lined at Los Veranos and kayaked around Los Arcos. It was truly a perfect vacation. I would definitely recommend it for a girls trip, but it also would be great for a family with teenagers. There is WiFi at the house and there are so many things to do. The best part of the trip was the sound of the waves all of the time and looking out into the bay and seeing the whales right off of the deck. Breathtaking!"

  • Fiesta. Siesta. Tequila. Repeat.

"12 of us girls stayed at Casa Pena del mar for Memorial Day weekend and it was nothing short of perfect! Elena took care of anything you could possibly need. She coordinated cab rides to go downtown, booked people to come to the house to do massages and even made a last minute alcohol run when the reserve got low ;) The house could not have been better. Each room had ample space and an incredible view. There were 12 of us but we could have even had a couple more join comfortable. The food was delicious. We were spoiled with all of the fresh, home cooked food and some of the best guacamole I've had. No need to lift a finger to clean, somehow all the messes we made magically disappeared. It truly was one of the most fun and relaxing trips any of us have been on. Highly recommend!!!"
