  • Best... Vacation... Ever!!!

"This was my first time to Los Chonchos and Casa Blanca. Let me summarize- It was perfect. Best, most relaxing vacation I've ever been on. Easy to arrange, better than expected. I will be here again soon! We booked through - super simple, everything was made clear on the listing, and through the booking process. Once we confirmed the booking, Debbie provided everything we needed to prepare for our trip- even going above and beyond to help secure an amazing taxi driver and special water taxi ride to help with our poorly timed plane arrival. We had all of Debbie's contact details for emergencies and were well prepared for our trip prior to departure. Jesus, the taxi driver, was Awesome- super friendly, and helpful. Our water taxi ride was pleasant and provided Beautiful views. Getting off the boat, on the beach, wasn't exactly difficult, but it took strength and coordination. There was a crew to help us bring up our luggage. (we packed WAYY too much, even though Debbie warned not to; we will do better next time!) The palapa is FANTASTIC... let me say that one more time for effect... FANTASTIC!! The view is breathtaking- There aren't words enough to describe it. This place is so close to the ocean you can feel the waves crashing against the rocks. Probably the most romantic and mesmerizing view I've personally experienced. The place itself is rustic, but well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a good fridge and hot propane burners. We had more than enough power for our needs (2 smartphones) and we had phone/text signal from the balcony (AT&T & T-Mobile) There are paths to 10 or more other palapas near Casa Blanca- I think Casa Blanca might have the best view though... Paths to a city (we didn't visit this trip) and paths to a beautiful/secluded beach. Hours and hours with no other people! Actually, we only saw 1 couple at meal times, and a few workers... and a few other couples when we arrived and left- other than that, we were alone. Meal time... You won't regret it. The cook at the main palapa was Amazing. The food was so fresh, and so delicious. They deliver too!!! Bring pesos... the meals aren't huge, but they are filling- always nap worthy! A part of me wants to say bad things because I want this place to be my secret garden, but honestly- I have told many friends about Casa Blanca, and will be booking for another trip before this year is over... I really can't recommend Casa Blanca enough. Book it before I do!!"

  • Surpassed any expectations!

"This place was just absolutely amazing! I rented out this house for my sister's bachelorette party and everything from the view to the service surpassed by expectations! We weren't looking for anything too wild and crazy considering the party consisted of age 22-60. Great place to relax but also have a good time. I cannot speak higher of the service. Paco, Daniel, Sergio and Ana really took care of us! There wasn't a moment where I didn't have a drink in my hand! Lol. And the food was just delecious. Better than any restaurant you could have gone to. The house was beautiful, clean and roomy. Everything was just awesome. All the ladies were beyond happy. I plan to come back!"

  • Amazing home away from home

"Happy Memories Our family of seven had an absolutely perfect vacation at Casa Flores! As soon as we walked through the door and saw the stunning villa and the magnificent view over Banderas Bay, we knew we were going to have a fabulous time - and we did! The villa is spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. It is so well laid out that we could either be a congenial group or enjoy some solitude. Tavo and Claudia were charming and kind. Dining in-house was as fine as any restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. They cooked incredible garlic shrimp, guacamole, ceviche, and flan. We enjoyed our outings in and around Puerto Vallarta, but we all looked forward to returning to our villa with its peaceful ambiance and dramatic ocean views. I would recommend this beautiful villa to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. And I would recommend Puerto Vallarta to anyone wishing for a pleasant, safe, fun-filled holiday."

  • Great views and true Mexican architecture, but........

"We just returned from our stay at Villa Dos Angeles. Our family has been to PV many times but this was our first experience staying in a non-resort setting. While we had a GREAT vacation, there are a couple of things you should know prior to choosing this home. 1). The villa is located on the top of a hill. If you don't walk well, have knee problems, etc., don't choose this villa. If you walk in and out, there are a ton of stairs and cobblestone hills to go up. It is easier to climb up the steps from the bottom instead of going all of the way to the top and then down. 2). This Villa is not sealed up. If you don't like bugs, don't rent it. There are no-see-ums (vicious, biting almost invisible) all over the villa and the four of us were eaten up in our sleep. While we have encountered these before, mainly on the beach, we were not accustomed to having to wear bug repellent to bed at night! After waking up covered in red, itchy welts, we noticed that these bugs are everywhere. On the walls, the floors, the furniture, you name it. If you have small children, be aware that these bites are horrible and take weeks to go away. 3). There is a huge binder in the Villa that gives restaurant tips, etc. Some of it doesn't look to have been updated for quite sometime. One of the things that was sort of a bummer was that we were told that the beach at Garza Blanca had a poolside restaurant/bar that you could access while enjoying the beach. We grabbed towels, boogie boards and our wallet, only to find that the poolside restaurant is not available to anyone not staying at the resort. You can't even get a bottle of water! We did go back to the beach, however, hauling a cooler and everything else made it quite the production. Better to take a cab to town and enjoy one of the "beach clubs" at a local restaurant. We really enjoyed the freedom that staying in the Villa provided. We truly enjoyed trying many of the local restaurants and the ability to cook for ourselves as well."
