  • Best view in Puerto Vallarta

"Wow is a word that doesn't begin to describe the penthouse! The pictures honestly do not do it justice! The moment I walked in to the main floor I was in awe of the view from every room. The bar is central to the main level and Mauricio was at the bar ready to make any cocktail requested. When you head up to the top floor you are greeted to a large open entertaining space with lounge chairs and an Infiniti pool that overlooks all of PV. The Avalon is the tallest building on the highest mountain in PV. You can see it from anywhere in the city, and I was able to spot it from the plane on my departure. Once I was finally over the shock of the amazing views and incredible penthouse, I was again amazed by the staff. Mauricio (the do it all guy from bartender to waiter), Santos (one of the best chefs in PV), to Laura and Cecilia who take care of the house. The meals Santos prepared were incredible. I gave him a rough idea of what I wanted in a menu but I told him to cook whatever was most fresh and gave him some culinary leeway to step outside of my comfort zone and I'm glad I did. Fresh tune, fresh red snapper, paella... All incredible and drastically less expensive. For a weeks worth of 3 meals a day plus alcohol (and our group went through a lot of alcohol) it was less than the cost of 3 nice meals eating out. Booking was also very easy. I spoke with Crystal, the owner, who was extremely responsive. She set up group massages and communicated with the staff before our arrival to make sure they had all the food and alcohol we requested on hand. She couldn't have been a more gracious host throughout the whole process making our stay even easier. I highly recommend this penthouse to anyone coming to PV. I will DEFINITELY be back!"

  • Time at the Villa Ventura

"We had a delightful three week stay at the Villa Ventura this past February. The house is spacious, very comfortable and well located. The staff was great!! Hospitable, cooperative and very friendly and helpful. We can't say enough about Chef Beto. Fabulous meals, very accommodating, a real gem. All in all, we would highly recommend the Villa Ventura to anyone who wants to thoroughly enjoy their stay in Puerta Vallarta."

  • Fantastic stay at Villa Paraiso!

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Villa Paraiso over the Christmas holidays. The best thing about Villa Paraiso is the staff. Miriam is extremely professional and gracious and she and her staff work hard at making sure that you're having the best vacation possible. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful, thanks to wonderful chefs and bartenders Angel, Alejandro, Jose, Javier, and Sergio, and we really appreciated the accommodations made for our pescatarian! We also appreciated that Miriam went above the call of duty when there was a medical emergency...we felt well cared for! The villa itself was clean and comfortable, and the views are beautiful! We would love to return, but if we do, we will do so when the pool area receives sunlight (December is perfect for those who do not want sun while they are lounging around the pool)!"

  • Overall a nice complex

"This condo is a nice size with a good view of the pool (although no sun during this time of year). Under the kitchen sink has not been cleaned for some time and could use attention. The BBQ propane tank was empty when we arrived and needed delivery service bring some out. I was also surprised that we were charged for electricity, felt a bit nickled and dimed after paying $2350 for the week then tacking on another $16 for elec. Ice maker is slow so be sure to get some bags. Several of the blinds did not work which was a bit uncomfortable to my wife with the lack of privacy. The building is secure and has a wonderful staff, the grounds and pool are clean and maintained. We walked down to the beach and taxi back as we always bought something and didn't care much for walking uphill. Taxi was 50 peso from beach back to the condo. Next time in PV we will stay more in town, a lot of good options."
