  • I can't wait to go back

"I am not very good about writing reviews, but this place deserves one! Often times you fear pictures you see on a site are just "good pictures" and not really what the place looks like. But in this case, I felt the pictures didn't give Casa Caleta enough credit. The place is beautiful. Like a small, 5 star resort! The service, in my opinion, is what separates Casa Caleta with the other nice homes in the area. I have 2 boys ages 5 and 10 that haven't stopped talking about the staff since we left. They were so nice to them and made their vacation unforgettable. Although the adult beverages were excellent, Paco always made sure all the kiddos got to enjoy frozen drinks as well. Daniel, the chef, was fantastic. He can make anything you want-- and exceeded all expectations when it was time to eat. My favorite time was dinner. It was an experience. Paco and Daniel always had a surprise and would make this time very special for all. Sergio, the house man, was awesome--he made sure we had everything we needed to assure a fun day. Ana, the housekeeper, was excellent. Without saying anything to her, she knew the perfect time to clean your room w/o disturbing. The house was always clean. By the end of the trip, it felt like the four of them were part of our group. We joked, shared stories, and had a great time with them. It was hard for us to say goodbye. You will not be disappointed with anything! Also-- Danielle, the concierge, was awesome. Not only did she take the time before we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed when we got there, she was always available when we needed to plan anything. I may never stay at a resort again."

  • Lap of luxury

"It was our first trip to PV and the unit was more amazing than we could have hoped. The photos are accurate, the condo is that nice. The pools are lovely, we had a staffed swim up bar in the afternoon and then on the deck later. Allyn, who manages the place, is super accommodating and responds to email very promptly. It is a bit of a walk to the beach and town, but cabs are cheap and when you get down there the neighborhood is unbeatable. We had the most amazing view for the New Years fireworks. I really can't say enough, great service, beautiful views, amazing condo!"

  • Best... Vacation... Ever!!!

"This was my first time to Los Chonchos and Casa Blanca. Let me summarize- It was perfect. Best, most relaxing vacation I've ever been on. Easy to arrange, better than expected. I will be here again soon! We booked through Homeaway.com - super simple, everything was made clear on the listing, and through the booking process. Once we confirmed the booking, Debbie provided everything we needed to prepare for our trip- even going above and beyond to help secure an amazing taxi driver and special water taxi ride to help with our poorly timed plane arrival. We had all of Debbie's contact details for emergencies and were well prepared for our trip prior to departure. Jesus, the taxi driver, was Awesome- super friendly, and helpful. Our water taxi ride was pleasant and provided Beautiful views. Getting off the boat, on the beach, wasn't exactly difficult, but it took strength and coordination. There was a crew to help us bring up our luggage. (we packed WAYY too much, even though Debbie warned not to; we will do better next time!) The palapa is FANTASTIC... let me say that one more time for effect... FANTASTIC!! The view is breathtaking- There aren't words enough to describe it. This place is so close to the ocean you can feel the waves crashing against the rocks. Probably the most romantic and mesmerizing view I've personally experienced. The place itself is rustic, but well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a good fridge and hot propane burners. We had more than enough power for our needs (2 smartphones) and we had phone/text signal from the balcony (AT&T & T-Mobile) There are paths to 10 or more other palapas near Casa Blanca- I think Casa Blanca might have the best view though... Paths to a city (we didn't visit this trip) and paths to a beautiful/secluded beach. Hours and hours with no other people! Actually, we only saw 1 couple at meal times, and a few workers... and a few other couples when we arrived and left- other than that, we were alone. Meal time... You won't regret it. The cook at the main palapa was Amazing. The food was so fresh, and so delicious. They deliver too!!! Bring pesos... the meals aren't huge, but they are filling- always nap worthy! A part of me wants to say bad things because I want this place to be my secret garden, but honestly- I have told many friends about Casa Blanca, and will be booking for another trip before this year is over... I really can't recommend Casa Blanca enough. Book it before I do!!"
