  • Relaxing - Beautiful - Charming

"The apartment is nestled between the Twin beaches (playas Gemelas), which are perhaps the best you can find in Puerto Vallarta without hopping into a boat. Located 5.5 mi from old town, the 15 minute ride will not stop you from enjoying the thrill of the Malecon. The amenities of the complex are very good: pool, small gym, restaurant and even a mini-mart. Condo employees are very educated, caring and attentive. We had a few hiccups with the air condition which Wendee offered to get us a new one while there, but it was not necessary… sleeping with the windows opened brought a true silver lining: birds waking you up while waves crushing into the rocks smoothened the night. It was great! One thing to notice is that while it is fantastic, it is also small. Perhaps the circular shape of the building, which creates wedge-like apartments, is the culprit to the odd space distribution. If you’re a big person, you will have some fun using the restroom and going up the stairs in the 2-storie penthouse. PS: our experience was interrupted due to electric work in the building, which damaged the other AC (in the kitchen and living room) and also the cooktop. Hard to predict, but it was unfortunate the work was scheduled for peak season."

  • What an Amazing Home

"I searched for several months for a place to stay in Puerto Vallarta that was within our price range but something kept bringing me back to Villa Tesoro del Mar although it seemed expensive and larger than our needs. After contacting management I was informed that because we did not need all 7-bedrooms our rates would be adjusted accordingly and so the house fit nicely into our budgeted amount and we reserved it for the last week of September 2016.The photos on the website were amazing and we were so excited that we would be staying in such a beautiful home. When we walked into the house we could not believe our eyes, the websites did not do it justice. This is one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen in my life. Not only were the rooms immaculate they were beautifully decorated. My room opened up outside to the small pool. The other rooms had amazing walk-out terraces with beautiful views of the ocean and/or jungles. The heated double decker pool was awesome. Tricky though because it is a lot deeper than it looks, but wonderful. The house was warm and inviting when the doors to the outside were open and cool when we chose air condition instead. There are a lot of trees, flowers and birds on the property. We even had some wild turkey visiting us and other little critters coming up to see who was visiting them this time. The cook was wonderful. She made beautiful delicious meals and had a fresh pot of coffee each morning when I got up (I am usually the first one up) and it was delicious. We did not eat out once while there because the food was so delicious and the snacks were like a full lunch and always very appetizing. The cook did all of the food shopping for us and was very frugal. The girl who cleaned our room daily was sweet and always so accommodating and did a wonderful job keeping everything spotless. Our Pool boy was sweet and took great care of our pool each morning. The beach is down the hill and a little tough for returning unless you have transportation but it is well worth the energy. The water is clear, the beach is sandy and the atmosphere is wonderful. This is my fourth trip to Mexico and my seventh trip to tropical spots for vacationing. I think this is the one that I loved the most because of the house. We had a wonderful time, I can’t wait to go back, plus our deposit was refunded in 4-days after our return; great customer service. I highly recommend staying at Villa Tesoro del Mar . I promise you will not regret it."

  • Lovely condo in great location

"This is a very roomy and well-cared for condo where 4 of us spent a great week. The furniture is lovely and comfortable and the hot tub is a wonderful feature. Strictly speaking the apartment is located just outside the old town in the South Zone which was perfect! The Old Town or Romantic Zone is bustling and noisy all day and well into the night in many areas and while this condo is close enough to walk to the Old Town it is protected from the noise. We really appreciated the location and while the Old Town is wonderful and energizing, it would not be the best place for us to stay. Wear good shoes for walking on the cobblestone streets. You can walk to the beach across the road from the condo in 12 minutes and it is a great beach! Good swimming and fun restaurants with delicious food. There is a bus on the main road right in front of the condo (Road Two Hundred) which will take you to town, to the beach at Mismalayo, or to the fishing village of Boca for 8 pesos. The owner of the condo, Zapher, could not have been nicer or more responsive and the staff at the building was friendly and efficient. Everything worked in the condo. The pool is beautiful and while we were there we were almost the only people using it. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return."

  • Amazing Villa & Staff!!!!

"From start to finish Jose and the staff are truly amazing people. Jose the owner is very communicative and is very fast at returning calls & emails. The house is just amazing. The location is awesome just about 25 minutes South of PV in Mismaloya. The house staff Roglio & Fida are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Fida is an amazing cook! She cooked 4 dinners for our family of 8 during our 5 day trip. Fida also made breakfast and had coffee ready every morning. Drinking coffee and the amazing views on the upper terrace can't be beat!!! Rogelio was our driver as the house comes with a large SUV to be shuttled around in (make sure to fill it up before you leave). Couple things to pay attention to. Playa Mismaloya which is at the bottom of the hill. The beach is infested with sand fleas, you can read Trip Advisor for more information. My family was severely bitten by these nasty little bugs. No sand fleas at the Villa I'd like to mention. Can't drink the water at the Villa!!! Be very careful about this. Brush teeth with bottled water. If there is room in the SUV go to Costco before you arrive at the Villa, this will save time. Don't worry if you forget anything on your list, there's a few little stores at the bottom on the hill that Rogelio can run down and grab for you. Also, the staff has very limited English, which isn't a problem, we used Google Translate quit a bit to communicate. The Villa does have WiFi. I would 1000% recommend this Villa!!!! Hope you enjoy!"
