  • This place is AMAZING!!

"I recently celebrated my birthday at this property. The villa is so beautiful! My friends and I are already talking about when we want to return. The house staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting PV."

  • Amazing property!

"We had a great time at Casa Vista Linda! We travelled with our 17 & 19 yr old children and they both brought friends. The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kids especially liked the t.v. room where they could hang out in the evenings and watch movies etc., while my husband and I would sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The only downside is the wi-fi is pretty iffy, so if you don't have an international calling plan to set up a hotspot, you would need to be near the modem. Alfredo met us at the house when we arrived, (used the driver service) and he had previously stocked the kitchen with everything we requested. We used the cook for breakfast and lunch one day which was very nice. Eva the maid is great too. The walk to the beach is down the cobblestone street and the stairs, (155) but really not bad at all, although with small children I may recommend a taxi. We took the bus to Mismaloya one day for jet skiing and for 8 pesos it can't be beat. Just walk down to the hwy 200, cross the street, and wait at the big rock. The bus comes every 20 minutes and the ride is about 30-40 minutes. The Sea Monkey on the Malecon has great food and $1 beers. Near there is the Loco Langostino, where you can sit upstairs in the breeze and get a bucket of 6 beers for 100 pesos. There is parasiling, snorkeling at Los Arcos and of course tons of shopping. Very safe to walk around, lots of Americans, gay couples, great restaurants and tequila shops as well. We will definitely be back!!"

  • Calling it Villa Romantica is an understatement

"our enjoyment of Villa Romantica started months before we arrived. Karen McGrath, the owner and property manager, answered every question and provided extremely helpful information about the villa specifically and Puerto Vallarta in general. When we arrived everything was as described. In fact it was better than described. From the heated pool to the King size master bedroom the place was all anyone could ask for. We've been using villas around the Carribean for over 20 years and this was far and away our best experience. Although there was just my wife and I this villa would be perfect for 2 couples. The bedrooms are on different floors allowing for privacy and the villa is so large you don't have to be in each other's way if you chose not to. Many cozy sitting areas inside and out. The hot tub was a great touch but you do have to plan ahead as it takes a few hours to come up to temperature and the timer goes off every 1/2 hour. (Great when that's your biggest problem). The heated pool is glorious. The thoughtful touches that Karen provides, very appreciated. The kitchen, very well equipped. We had a question when we arrived and Karen answered within minutes. You're 7kms - 4 miles from downtown (the southern end of the Malecon) and access to dozens of restaurants. The view, the birds, the floral bonanza, all amazing. We had a car and I drove down every morning and walked the Malecon end to end (5kms - 3mile round trip). I cannot thank Karen enough for her help and for sharing her beautiful home. We will be back for years to come - so stay away from my dates."

  • To The Good Life!

"After a hectic several months for everyone in our group, Casa Do Re Mi was not only a valuable place to unwind, but a magnificent place to have a wonderful time. Yes the staff was accommodating, wonderful and completely unobtrusive. Yes the house was absolutely charming, with magnificent views and wonderful plantings as well as great pool. Yes travel into town was a snap with taxis that always arrived within 3 minutes. And yes, the owners were helpful, available when needed and gracious. Nothing has been spared to make this property both authentic and cozily comfortable. If you feel you deserve a special treat, look no further."
