  • Amazing property, great location and staff

"A group of nine friends stayed here for a long weekend. The house is amazing, particularly the downstairs and the three ocean facing bedrooms. I'm convinced it is one of the best properties in puerto Vallarta. The staff took good care of us and prepared delicious meals, kept the place in order, and provided us with advice as far as things to do. Really couldn't think of a better place to stay. I've done the all inclusive resort thing a number of times and this place blows it away - in terms of the personal service you receive from the 3 staff, quality of food and drink, and overall quality of the property."

  • Beyond Amazing!

"This house is beyond amazing. It’s perfect for two couples! Karen was a dream to work with and she always responded quickly. I was initially worried that the house was too far South but it was so easy to take a cab ($6.50 to town) and the bus could be caught at the bottom of the hill ($0.39). We would take the bus into town and cab back. We took advantage of the grocery delivery service the house offers and for $25 + cost of groceries we arrived to cold beer and groceries in the fridge! At the bottom of the hill and walking distance are two Hotels so you have a few restaurant/bars, and spa options. Happy Hour at sunset is a must at the Hotel Mousai (you go to Garza Blanca Hotel and take the trolley up the hill). We also had an amazing dinner at Blanca Blue (well worth the money). The beach was at the Hotel and looked amazing but honestly we could not tear ourselves away from our private pool/hot tub to go to the beach! The secret to the hot tub is you have to get it up to temperature then keep setting the timer so it keeps it warm. The beds are very comfortable and the house has everything you need. What makes this house so great is you swim in the pool and look at jungle on one side and ocean at the other."

  • Peaceful

"David and I spent most of the time at the villa. It was quiet and allowed us to have one of the most relaxing vacations ever.we went to town everyday but the villa was always calling us back. It was beautifully done and so very comfortable. The views were fantastic. Everything was ready for us and Norma and Memo were silently present. Thanks to all for a great stay! Ann and David"

  • Great Stay at a Great Condo

"For our 9th trip to PV in 10-years we chose Rex's place and were delighted! It was super duper clean and comfy and decorated in a whimsical Mexican style that gives you everything you need for a short or extended stay, in a way that immerses you into the culture. Every place you look there is something fun to look at or appreciate without being over done. Rex was very communicative before and during our stay. The apartment has a brand new full size washer/dryer, which came in handy mid-trip, as well as a new dishwasher. All appliances were spotlessly clean and WiFi was adequate for work or personal needs. Beds were comfortable and we loved the European shower in the master suite. Having 2 full bathrooms really was a blessing and we were able to shower one after another without losing hot water or pressure. The apartment has a huge deck with a great view and a big table and chairs where we were greeted by hummingbirds with our morning coffee. It would be great if it had lounges to take a siesta in the afternoon because the hammock isn't for everyone. The building was safe and secure with cameras and gates but it didn’t make you feel imprisoned. It is also beautifully decorated especially by the pool, which was a convenient touch on the days we didn't want to schlepp to the beach. We stayed in this part of PV so we could be close to our friends staying at the Garza Blanca resort but its also just up the hill from the romantic zone, shopping, bars and restaurants. The location is best served with a car or taxis if you are not up for the steep uphill walk. We were traveling with my elderly mother which made the commute impossible by foot. We rent a car every trip anyway to take day trips north to Sayulita and San Pancho and the location was convenient to jump on the 200 hwy. The bus stops right at the bottom of the hill if you want to use public transportation. Our only complaints were with the shopping service by the property manager. The list we provided weeks in advance was only partially provided and not there when we arrived as promised. Lastly, the parking spot is very small and tight with the other tenant parked there and made getting in and out challenging even for an experienced driver. Small annoyances with no impact on our trip. Overall if you want to be near downtown with a good vantage point to public transportation for day trips, in a well appointed, clean comfortable and adorable place, we highly recommend Rex’s place."
