  • Nice Place at the Marina

"The condo is well appointed and conveniently located within a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Marina. The condo was unexpectedly large for being a one bedroom. My wife, my two kids and myself fit there nicely and didn't feel crowded. The terrace was spacious. Loved to have my meals there. There was a grill there that we wanted to use but it had no gas although we were told that it had. Internet was spotty and was barely good enough for smart phones but not the laptop, images wouldn't download and lagged considerably. There were two TVs, there is a satellite box which we thought it worked but, after looking at closely, it was not connected. The TVs were smart TVs so if you have a NETFLIX account you could watch some movies there. I don't believe it had cable although my 10 year old boy was able to watch some Nickelodeon shows but in Spanish if it did, I couldn't find CNN. Getting hot water was tricking on the first day, ended up taking a cold shower, it wasn't until later that I was able to figure out that you must let the water run for awhile for the water to come hot but, once it did, it came scalding hot so be careful. There are some pots and pans but they had no lids and plenty of kitchen utensils. The only bedroom had plenty of closet space, shelves and a dresser with another TV on top. The king sized bed was a tad bit too hard for my taste but bearable. There is a washer and a dryer which was a hit to have available and worked perfectly make sure that you get your own laundry detergent, the same for dish washing liquid or dishwasher detergent if you plan to use the dish washing machine. There were plenty of towels and beach towels which we used although we also brought our own. I was not able to get the ceiling fan in the bedroom to work for me. Ditto on Deb's review regarding the grounds but the pool was murky and needed better filtering. Overall, it was a good experience with minor annoyances like poor internet access, the non working fan in the bedroom (or me now knowing hot to turn it on), no lids for the pots and pans, and not being able to figure out whether it had cable TV or not. However, the pluses outweighed the negatives. I will rent again if it was available next December but it is not."

  • Perfect Vacation Place

"Lodging at this condo at Tres Mares was an amazing experience. The place is fully equipped with all the comforts of home including a cooler in each room for use poolside. The view is spectacular and the balcony a perfect place to watch all the water activity. The pool is exceptional due to the size and was wonderful to swim laps or sit poolside to relax, read or sleep. The building staff are very accommodating in setting up chairs and umbrellas at the pool, hailing a cab or providing local information. I would definitely choose to stay at this condo again."

  • Amazing Christmas Vacation!

"We stayed in this PV Peninsula condo over the Christmas holiday 2015. We could not have been happier with the condo or the Peninsula property itself. Carolyn made the the entire experience so easy. She communicated with me via email and telephone prior to our arrival and gave us many useful tips and information on activities in the area. Marcos met us at the condo and walked us through the property and condo and provided the information we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, snacks, beverages, etc. Plenty of beach towels and there were even sand toys. The view is incredible. Panoramic ocean and mountain views. Amazing sunset! We could even see dolphin from the balcony. The pool was big and had plenty of chairs. We didn't use the pool much, we spent our time at the beach under the palapas! The beach is one of the best in the area and the ocean was not rocky as it is in other places along that stretch. Peninusla has added a restaurant on site and they had waiters available to bring beverages/food. Security at the condo was excellent and the concierge staff was great. Had to take a taxi to most restaurants but there are a few within walking distance. We couldn't have asked for a better location or property. Thank you Carolyn and Marcos for making our vacation so memorable."

  • Rob and Dan and the staff took great care of us!

"Besides this being a central apartment near Los Muertos Beach, it's quiet and green. And the staff - the "concierge" and la senora who cleaned - helped us out all the time - finding taxis, cleaning only when it was good for us, with water refills, and our general questions about the area, etc. It just felt so nice to have someone to speak to when you're a little unsure how things work. And the lovely green space and peacefulness of the apartment was a treat! Thanks, Rob and Dan. You were helpful and kind..."
