  • AMAZING

"I held my 30th birthday at Casa La Playa. It was INCREDIBLE. The house is way more gorgeous than that photos show. The staff is beyond helpful and accommodating. Anything I asked of them, they provided. Literally anything. The service was better than 5 star hotels I have stayed at. They anticipated our every move. They would clean as we left, and rearrange furniture for our next gathering. I had never seen anything like it. Drinks were always ready to go and refills were always there. I was so impressed. The house is incredible. I will say, you would think the master is the top floor, but it almost seemed like it was the second floor actually, so check out all the rooms before you make your final decision. I highly recommend Casa La Playa. Thank you Mario for making our experience incredible. Chris"

  • Our week in paradise

"The pictures on the listing do not due justice to this property. We have visited Puerto Vallarta several times and this location is great. Taxis are only $5 to downtown. The view from the balconies are breathtaking. There we 7 of us, 3 seniors and 2 kids under 12. The kids had to leave early to get back to school and wanted to stay. Surf on this beach is rough at times, but the pools are fantastic. Dinning choices abound in walking distance, less then a mile from the condo. All the beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again. Property managers were easy to contact and great to deal with. Communications with the owners was always prompt and all questions were answered."

  • Great location, great value!

"What a wonderful property for so many different reasons! Among the highlights..... 1) Layout - the condo is on the second floor of a 6 floor building. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and has the amenities that make a good vacation great (e.g., washer / dryer, full kitchen, water-cooler size jug of drinking water, etc.). There are lots of beach towels provided, so one less bulky thing to pack or buy. The TV is small and does have cable, although it's mostly Mexican cable channels. The wireless Internet works well, but note that the range is limited and works best in the living room / dining room / kitchen areas. There are also two wired phones provided for free calls - one for calls within Mexico, and a Vonage phone for calls to the US. Both were of great use to us when making extended calls to airlines to change travel arrangements. 2) Location - the condo building is accessible via a wide alley off a somewhat busy street. It is completely safe, and being off the main street means far less traffic noise. There is a security gate to access the stairwell, so random people cannot get into the building easily. Los Muertos beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are 3 small convenience stores on 3 successive street corners walking North on the main street - any of them will have what you are looking for (although I recommend the Oxxo on the 3rd corner). There are numerous restaurants along the beach and elsewhere in the Romantic Zone. The Rio Cuale shopping area is a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk at a normal pace. 3) Other Benefits - on the roof of the building, there is a small but nice pool along with several lounge chairs. There are good views of the bay, and it's a great place to get some sun without the sand. There is also a bar (unstocked) with bar stools, and a bathroom. Take a look around in the condo, especially in the cabinets, etc., before buying anything...the pantry in the kitchen has lots of sunscreen and some basic medial items, as well as some games (Uno, Chess, Backgammon, etc.). In the bathrooms, you will find shower gel and shampoo, hand soap, etc. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building manager Guillermo (Memo for short) is available 24x7 for any issues or questions. He is one of the nicest people around, and takes the time to make sure everything is right. His wife is also the housekeeper and does a fabulous job. In short, you will have a hard time finding a better value for your money!"

  • Exceptional

"On behalf of the entire group, thank you! The staff at the Villa and PVBC went above and beyond in making sure we had a terrific time while in PV. I can’t say enough on how supportive and attentive the staff are. It seemed like they knew our every need in advance. Jose is a master at his job. Tony, Oscar, Pancho, and the rest of the team were simply a delight. Leonor, as always was so great to work with. Thank you, for working with us to ensure we got the dates that worked best for everyone. You made everything very easy. Professional, attentive, responsive, and very accommodating!!! The team is top notch! I didn’t hear a single complaint from anyone….nothing!!! Great job!! We are even talking about coming back in a couple years. No other place has been so great to work with on this bi-annual meeting."
