"My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here and we could not be happier with our stay. The property is perfectly located in Puerto Vallarta. It is easy to walk to many destinations and the taxi service is very quick. Lette made arrangements for us to be picked up at the airport and when we got to the penthouse, the guacamole and margaritas made our day! We also requested Lette make ceviche which was the best ceviche we had on our trip. Ruby cleaned the place and was quick, thorough, and friendly. The property itself is just as the pictures suggest. The upper deck with the pool was surprisingly private; that may be due, in part, to us traveling at the end of May when there aren't a lot of tourists. Each room is tastefully decorated and it feels like you are staying in a home in Mexico. The master suite bed is very comfortable and the open air breeze has to be one of the highlights of our trip. It feels so relaxing to have that brisk dry Pacific salt air flowing through the rooms. When we come back we will be sure to rent this property again. I think it would be fun to come down with family or friends. Below is a link to a video of the property: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjY5oYXRy5g"

  • Relax and enjoy!

"What an absolutely wonderful week away!! After a very long day of travel it was such a welcome surprise to have a full dinner in the fridge waiting for us - lasagna, salad, bread, chips, salsa, beer and wine! It was so much appreciated to be able to unpack and unwind and not worry about getting supplies or going out. That's what we call super hosts (Barb and Barry)!! As for the villa it was just perfect - the pool, the palapa, the kitchen, the bed, the loungers were all excellent. Extremely clean and well kept! The location is on a canal and every morning the french baker comes by with the best almond croissants I've ever had. A nice start to the day - coffee and croissant pool side with a good book. The little town of Barra is charming with lots of great places to eat and wander around. We were easily able to walk to the town or if too tired a water taxi was easily available. We also took the local bus to the beach at La Manzanilla - a great beach not too far away! Villa Santa Barbara was the best place to come back to after a day tripping around the area. Next time we come we will for sure book more than 1 week. Thank you again for sharing your villa and your time as you were always available to answer any of our questions. It was such a help in making our trip a great one!"

  • Comfortable Seclusion

"Casa Coco was a perfect fit for our group of six adults. The property is perfectly located at the end of a secluded beach near the resort. Neighbors are sparse, so the place really feels like you have paradise to yourself. It's a short drive to a boat launch to get to Barra or a slightly longer drive around the peninsula. I've always stayed in town in the past, which is it's own great experience, but Casa Coco offers a very different experience: it is seclusion at it's very best. You can opt in to town activities when you want, but otherwise have paradise to yourself at the house. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were super comfortable after long days of swimming, lounging and adventuring. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The shared spaces in the house are perfect for spreading out. Between the poolside deck, second floor balcony and rooftop deck, there's a lot of space to relax, watch the stars, sunrises and sunsets and enjoy the peace. Lisa was a great a host and made the whole process a breeze, and the property manager was always accessible. One thing we didn't realize at first was that the area is subject to brown outs, so we were without power for periods of time, which was actually just fine all of us, as it allowed us to relax and enjoy a drink by the pool. As others have noted, the surf is very rough by the house, so absolutely no swimming there, but up the beach there is a lovely cove that is great for swimming, and the pool is perfect for laps or just lounging in. I can't recommend this place enough!"

  • Great home, location, owners and staff

"We stayed at Villa Nicte for 5 days May 3rd thru 7th 2016. I've been visiting Puerto Vallarta since 1972 and have now found my new place to stay each time. Located just 2 blocks from the Malecon and resting oceanfront right on the beach this 3 story villa with a bedroom and on suite on each floor leaves plenty of space for privacy when you want it. The living room is comfortable with a view of the ocean and the view from the kitchen sink is the same. The private dipping pool is larger than what I anticipated from having seen the pictures. There are restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk and the large supermarket is only 2 blocks away. I thought I might have a hard time sleeping anticipating a thumping bass sound from the nightlife, but all I heard was the waves breaking on the beach. Marta arrives each day to clean and share her upbeat personality. She cooked a birthday meal for my friend by buying a 6.5lb red snapper at the market to go along with salad, veggies, etc.. She is a treasure. She speaks English well but allowed me to practice my Spanish most often. The owners John and Mark take away any anxiety one might have in setting up the rental, including having someone waiting at the airport to take you to their villa. My opinion is you can't find a better location in Puerto Vallarta as you won't need to take a bus or cab unless you're going on an activity. Thanks John and Mark for your hospitality and taking care of all the little things that make such a big difference in enjoying a vacation. Bob McVey"
