  • This is an amazing house and the views are spectacular.

"We found Vista Hermosa to be an amazing house with all of the amenities that we were expecting. Fortunately we had excellent weather for early August which is the rainy season. However as part of this it was extremely hot. The AC in the bedrooms worked very well and we were quite comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make just about any meal. The outdoor patio is really where we spent most of the time in the pool and under the sun umbrellas. The sunsets from the pool were stunning. The owners Ted and Brenda were extremely friendly in helping us setting up transportation and making sure we were well taken care of. The home is very secure and we did close the large gate to the driveway whenever we were either present or out of the house. ON the whole, we found everyone we met in Sayulita to be very friendly and welcoming to tourists. The only negatives i had on the house was that the cable tv never worked and the local phone did not work. The TV was worked on for a few hours the 2nd day we were there but it never was able to work so we stopped trying. Since this was during the olympics it would have been nice to get away from the Sun and watch a little but there were several dvd's in the collection that we did watch. The phone not working was also an issue because we were not able to reach out to the house manager Ramon without using our international roaming on our cell phone. Wifi did work in the house and was actually very good."

  • Wonderful stay!

"We spent a wonderful week at Casa de Suenos with our family, including our eight-month-old first grandchild. We especially enjoyed the setting on the beach, proximity to the pool, and easy walks to the downtown area and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped and patio worked well for leisurely breakfasts. The upstairs deck off the master bedroom was incredible for a quiet reading area before the rest of the family was awake. Our son and his girlfriend were engaged on the beach at sunset the first night we were there and it was a lovely place to celebrate. Carol was very accommodating in arranging both our arrival and departure times to meet the needs of differing airline schedules and Felipe checked in with us each day with his beautiful smile to see if we needed anything."

  • Vacation Heaven

"Just getting into the routine of life again is a chore after returning from a fantastic week in Sayulita. More often than I want to admit I have been caught day dreaming about our trip to Sayulita, remembering how wonderful our stay and accommodations were in Casa Agava (part of Villa Muy Bien). The outdoor living style was exactly what we needed to escape from the winter weather back at home. The crashing sound of the waves, the cool breeze, and the warm air made this stay so enjoyable. The gorgeous flowers that decorated the decks and gardens were well groomed. The dip in the pool was absolutely refreshing. We were so close to everything the bus stop, the market, restaurants and the beach. A golf cart is definitely not required. This property is well maintained and equipped for its guests; it includes a safe for your valuables and a separate key pad entrance into the unit. Kitchen is stocked with everything you may need - most important item the citrus squeezer to make those perfect margaritas. Bill and Kathy were fabulous hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Thank you for sharing a little peace of paradise with us, hope to see you next year."

  • Amazing Family/Friends Retreat

"We had a group of 14 adults and 2 children for a week at Villa Violeta and were nothing short of impressed with our experience! The staff are incredible: Yesika is a very gracious and friendly host. The staff are friendly, professional, and were ready to help with any request we had. The meals were fresh, homemade, and delicious-as if we were eating at a fancy restaurant every day! They paid close attention to a shellfish allergy in our group. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, guacamole, salsa, tacos, coconut shrimp, fried bananas, and tres leches cake. We enjoyed fresh fruit & fresh squeezed juice with breakfast and lunch, and had a variety of entrees for dinner. We chose to bring some of our own alcohol with us but what we didn't bring, they provided within a few hours of our request. The pool and beach offered great gathering and play spaces for the entire group & we had a bonfire on the beach on our last night which was a perfect ending to a great trip. Like other reviews mention, you do need to be prepared to be well removed from town and patient with the WiFi access because the connection didn't always work, which was great for us! If you are looking for a week to truly connect with your group, disconnect from the internet, and simply relax, this is a great location for you! Yesika arranged for massages and our massage therapist was incredible! There is nothing quite as relaxing as a massage outside with the sound of the waves crashing the in the background! They work with a very professional transportation service to help you get to your excursions but honestly, we didn't go too many places because they provided everything we needed. Some our our group went fishing and were picked up right at the beach on site! Our group was a little uncertain with how much groceries would be at the end of the week, but please do not worry too much about that...the bill for all three of our meals was significantly cheaper than if we had gone out for every meal or took a shuttle in to San Pancho/Sayulita for groceries multiple times during our trip. The quoted average of $25-$50/per person per day is very accurate. The rooms are all unique and open air. They do provide fans but the nights can be a bit warm depending on the season. Not every room is completely private (some share ceilings or spaces) but if your group is comfortable with that, you will not be disappointed with the rest of your experience. We all had an incredible time of relaxation!!"
