  • Family vacation

"We stayed here a week with three adults and two teens and had lots of space. The house was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We were impressed with the melmac that looked like china, fun. We were unable to use the roof top patio as the tiles were not on the roof and the pigeons had claimed it. Also it would have been much too hot without the roof. We were very sorry, as it did look like a nice space to be. We loved the pool, with its little shallow piece and the depth we thought was good for all. It was nice to have it all to ourselves. Jamie checked on it three times to make sure it was at the correct chemical balance and to see if there was anything we needed. We mostly ate outside by the pool under the umbrella which was a lovely spot. The walk to the beach is four blocks, two down, one over and another down, as there is no access through the Decamron resort. There is a pretty skookum rolling cooler that we took one day but decided that it was a little too much work. We bought a beach umbrella, so that should be there for the next visitors. We also bought and left two bougie boards although we managed to crack one, it still works as a floating device. As we love the beach most of all, we found that the house was just too far from the beach to run back and get something if you forgot it. We had trouble with mosquitoes even though we were careful to close the screens, we all had bites, the person in the downstairs room had the most, so we are thinking that it might have something to do with the outside drain under the floor in the corner. We put a carpet over it and it seemed a bit better after that, but still not perfect. The noise from the street is quite disturbing (Decameron supply trucks) in the master bedroom if you leave the windows open. We solved this by running the air conditioner 20 min before bed and kept the windows closed for the night. The windows were pretty sound proof and we were able to sleep fine with them closed. The house is a fair walk from the main Plaza in Bucerias (2km), but there is a great little pub just over a block from the house with happy hour and great guacamole. Just around the corner from the pub is a little corner store that you can buy nearly everything you need, from eggs, bread and milk to beer. We enjoyed our stay in Bucerias, it is an enjoyable town. If this house were closer to the beach we would consider staying here again as it is a nice space."

  • J & D from BC

"Husband and I rented the small suite downstairs for two weeks and had a fabulous time. The pictures are exactly how the property is, a very short walk to the beach and close to everything else. The area is secure and Casa Rainbow is a quiet little oasis. We had one small problem and I emailed the owner and within 4 hours the issue was addressed. We were extremely pleased. The kitchen is so well equipped, the manager Michelle was terrific, and the cleaning staff are amazing. Would highly recommend this property."

  • Beautiful beachfront condo

"We have decided we have a new favorite vacation spot! Bucerias is a wonderful little town not far from Nueva Vallarta, and this condo is right on the beach overlooking an infinity pool and the ocean! The condo itself is beautiful with modern decorations, new granite, tile and furniture. We loved how the master bedroom and the living area both have huge glass doors that slide open and are connected to make one huge patio area. We loved the wonderful restaurants that are all within walking distance and extremely affordable! The owner, Lisa and the property manager were extremely easy to work with and prompt in responding to questions. Our stay was truly a week in paradise!"

  • Great experience

"I spent four weeks at this condo with three friends and loved being there. The unit itself has a fully stocked kitchen, including many condiments and spices. Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the nights were peaceful. There is a gorgeous view of Banderas Bay from the balcony. The condo complex has a lovely pool and sitting area and the security and maintenance staff are fabulous and accommodating. I felt safe at all times. There are no elevators in this complex so be prepared to do the stairs. Kudos to the staff for carrying our luggage up and down and delivering water to the door. My only complaint is that the living room only seats 3 people and the furniture is somewhat uncomfortable but overall I would highly recommend Condo Moona. Mary Lou is a pleasure to deal with."
