  • ***AMAZING house!****

"I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Justin, the owner, is so easy to communicate with and the property was even better than the pictures. It is so well maintained - gardener, house cleaner, pool guy every couple of days - and it is so spacious and adorable and modern and clean. The pool is fantastic. Was perfect for my husband and my 7 year old son. The local beach is just a couple blocks down the hill, and there are innumerable awesome restaurants, a mega market, and great artisan shopping nearby. We rented a cheap 4-door pickup truck from Gecko (probably the best rental car service we've had - pickup at the airport, located near the house with lots of great recommendations and directions, and then drop you at the airport after) and I would highly recommend a rental car. Yes you can walk to a lot of places - but we liked to get out to check out other area beaches, to visit Sayulita, to go to the Mega grocery store, etc... it was super affordable and made things very simple for us. But the house! The 3 of us only used 2 of the 4 bedrooms - but this house could hold many. The master has a king size bed, there are 2 other rooms that each have queens I think, and then our son stayed in the room with 2 single beds. Tons of restrooms (don't flush the toilet paper - which is NOT as bad as you might think :)), a huge and well stocked kitchen, a pretty decent library of novels and books to chose from.... we literally wanted for nothing. The area is definitely safe. We had no concerns - even with the doors open all night to keep the cool breezes coming through. The people in the neighborhood are all so friendly - and we never had a worry. If I could create my own dream home in Bucerias, this house would be it. Justin and his family are extremely fortunate to own this place. If you select this home for your vacation, you will NOT regret it. :)"

  • Absolutely Beautiful! Way more beautiful in person!

"This place is genuinely beautiful! The property is very spacious with a large pool, lawn, beach patio, and actual beach area. The pictures do not do it justice!! It is way more beautiful in person! The staff was equally beautiful and amazing, and they were like new family by the end of the week. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Our extended family had an amazing time and I am hoping to make this a return trip!"

  • Family vacation

"We stayed here a week with three adults and two teens and had lots of space. The house was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We were impressed with the melmac that looked like china, fun. We were unable to use the roof top patio as the tiles were not on the roof and the pigeons had claimed it. Also it would have been much too hot without the roof. We were very sorry, as it did look like a nice space to be. We loved the pool, with its little shallow piece and the depth we thought was good for all. It was nice to have it all to ourselves. Jamie checked on it three times to make sure it was at the correct chemical balance and to see if there was anything we needed. We mostly ate outside by the pool under the umbrella which was a lovely spot. The walk to the beach is four blocks, two down, one over and another down, as there is no access through the Decamron resort. There is a pretty skookum rolling cooler that we took one day but decided that it was a little too much work. We bought a beach umbrella, so that should be there for the next visitors. We also bought and left two bougie boards although we managed to crack one, it still works as a floating device. As we love the beach most of all, we found that the house was just too far from the beach to run back and get something if you forgot it. We had trouble with mosquitoes even though we were careful to close the screens, we all had bites, the person in the downstairs room had the most, so we are thinking that it might have something to do with the outside drain under the floor in the corner. We put a carpet over it and it seemed a bit better after that, but still not perfect. The noise from the street is quite disturbing (Decameron supply trucks) in the master bedroom if you leave the windows open. We solved this by running the air conditioner 20 min before bed and kept the windows closed for the night. The windows were pretty sound proof and we were able to sleep fine with them closed. The house is a fair walk from the main Plaza in Bucerias (2km), but there is a great little pub just over a block from the house with happy hour and great guacamole. Just around the corner from the pub is a little corner store that you can buy nearly everything you need, from eggs, bread and milk to beer. We enjoyed our stay in Bucerias, it is an enjoyable town. If this house were closer to the beach we would consider staying here again as it is a nice space."

  • Mexican paradise at Casa Verano

"My family & I were delighted with our stay at Bucerias. The villa was very comfortable and clean and has plenty of room for sleeping, relaxing and cooking. The yard and garden were gorgeous and tended very well. We especially appreciated being able to relax at the private pool & patio after returning from the bustle of the town & plaza. The owner kept in touch and there was a gardener and maid who came over several times during the week. I would highly recommend this property."
