"Extremely safe, comfortable, friendly place. enjoyed the walks to the town square market. a bit of old mexico with a lot of Amigo-ness. everything we needed was close. even took buses to sayulita, le penita, Nuevo Vallarta, mega store. taxi is 5$ to get around town if u want to splurge and the stand is a hundred yards down the road. We used the pool and Wifi and personal balcony weber bbq beside the pool. there is a fish shop in central bucerias beside the 200 highway with red snapper and shrimp, $10 Canadian goes. far. we used royal decamerone beach and grounds as well. Don't Worry, Be Happy"

  • Better than Great

"Wife and I stayed with our two adult kids and their spouses, two grandkids. When we checked in, everyone had grins so big we didn't need the lights!! Plenty of room for all. Big closets, lots of hangers, drawers. If you fill up the closet - you brought too much. This is a fully equipped 1st class home that real people live in; not just a hotel condo. Spices in the cupboard, dish and laundry soap, beach towels and toys, big washer and dryer and lots more. Books on the shelf, games in the credenza etc. Every kitchen do-dad you can think of. Dishwasher. If you can't find it, you didn't look or ask. There is a binder with lots of hints and maps. Nice big bathrooms with good showers. Both blackout and privacy shades on all windows. The deck doors open way up letting in lots of breeze. The deck is huge. Spent lots of time reading my book watching occasional beach passerby's while I had easy access to the fridge. Really comfy chairs. Good mix of sun and shade. Big umbrellas on roller casters to move them around. Bar-b-qued once on big unit. Great. Watched pelicans diving, frigate birds soaring, local fishermen casting nets, - and even dolphins! 12 steps down to the pool. Theres a shower right there. Lots of deck chairs. Pool is only a few inches deep at each end, slowly sloping to shin deep at a set of stairs going down to about 5 feet deep in the main area. Water temperature very nice and no noticeable chemicals. Kids lived in it. Lots of room. Theres a bathroom on the pool deck. Beach has nice sand, surf size changes with the wind, and just down the beach is an area of good surf breaks. This home couldn't be better located. There are lots of great restaurants located within easy walking distance. We even got take out from Maison Bay located almost next door. Enough little stores for make it yourself snacks or even meals. We did do one shop at Mega, but found enough in the town. Security was around but discreet. The key pad system was very convenient. Nice gym behind the pool deck. (wife ran, I read). Lots of stores to shop in. Not far to bus. Went to Sayulita for a day trip for 18 pesos each by bus. ( cab maybe 250) Cab to airport about 250 All in all this was a first class property. It is a home, and has every little thing like one. Better than great!"

  • Amazing Home

"Our family of 9 rented the Casa Coco in April 2016 for 10 days. We live in Canada & was our first time going through vrbo. We can't say enough about how amazing it was to deal with Karen. We contacted her directly at her home & she was so informative & answered all of our questions. She has compiled an amazing book with all the information you'll need for the house & the area. When we arrived at the house we were absolutely stunned. This house is more beautiful than the pictures could ever show. Everything is not only clean & very well maintained but also has every thing you would need for a fabulous holiday. Right from floaty chairs for the pool, kids toys for the beach, kayaks, life jackets, every kind of book you could ever want, movies, amazing wifi....& tons more. Our family loved this house, we had 8 adults & our 5 year old granddaughter. Every one had their own space & plenty of family time in the amazing pool area, large living room, 3rd floor lounging area & stunning ocean patio. We had Lupita make our first nights dinner...it was delicious. The house manager is a very nice fellow, also very helpful & full of information. We also loved the area....Bucerias is a great place...lots to do & see We would highly recommend renting this house & Lupita's meals. We hope to one day return. Thank you Karen for making our family holiday AMAZING."

  • We Will Be Back!

"This was our second time staying at Tres Palmas, and we enjoyed it as thoroughly as we did our first stay. We had a one bedroom rather than two, which had everything we could possibly need. One great feature is the bed, its huge and super comfortable. We especially loved our kitchen, it was outside our casita so we could sit outside and enjoy the birds in the morning, and the fountain, pool and beautiful garden. The apartment is very clean, beautifully decorated with a nice feeling of privacy. There's also ample security features including a small safe in the closet. Lisa and her family including their dog, Bella, are friendly and welcoming. Its the little details that can make a difference, including finding an umbrella left by our door one day when the weather clouded over. Or the day she walked with me to help me find a particular shop. Another great feature which we love are the beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler available for beach trips, and a variety of books to choose from in her library. Its impossible not to relax and enjoy life while staying here. Everything is within walking distance, and the town itself is full of vitality, friendly people and very safe. We've been home for 3 days and already planning another stay. Thanks again, to Lisa and her family , for another memorable stay at Tres Palmas. We will be back! Ruth"
