  • Fabulous!

"Our stay at Punta Esmeralda was fabulous! The villa is comfortable and has everything you need. Loved the layout. We miss having coffee in the mornings and watching the incredible sunsets. The resort itself has so much to offer and is very well maintained. It is not often you find a resort with grounds this well kept. It is absolutely beautiful and has eight pools to choose from. We love walking the beach and you can walk for miles. The evenings we would walk around the resort and felt completely safe. Christmas and New Years the fireworks display was spectacular. The beach restaurant has great food and the servers are very friendly. Taxis were easy to catch at the front gate. We did trips to Puerto Vallarta, La Cruz and Sayulita. Every couple of days we would do a run to the Mega store which is very close and enjoyable to shop at. We love this resort and this villa! We are hoping to return for another visit soon."

  • Casa La Cruz is a truly hidden gem

"We recently spent 10 days in Casa La Cruz. The house is very clean and well kept. Spacious and open. The pool is to die for. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is just as described in the Overview and more. Our plane was delayed for two hours and we had arranged for Vanessa to meet us at the house. We were stuck on the plane for two hours and could not communicate with Vanessa. We phoned her as soon as we got off the plane and she was there to meet us at the house when we arrived, ever so pleasant. Lydia was very helpful and responded promptly to my many queries. There was no issue whatsoever in the house, everything worked like a charm. The neighbors were very friendly. We would walk to the marina in the morning and buy a fish and some huge prawns, brought it home and cook it on the barbecue for dinner. We went to Tacos on the Street the first day we arrived as it was only half a block away. The creme brulee after dinner was the best I have ever tasted. Good food and good service. There were quite a few restaurants all located within a short walk from the house. Little grocery stores and convenient stores are on almost every street. We took the bus Mega, Sayulita and Bucerias on separate days. People are so friendly everywhere we went. All in all it was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation for us. We thank you Lydia for letting us stay in our beautiful home. We hope to return to this quaint little fishing village and your wonderful home soon."

  • Gorgeous!

"The villa is beautiful! The environment is peaceful and was the perfect setting for our very relaxing vacation. We felt that we were in our own world, with the private pool and beach access, yet it is an easy walk to restaurants and town. We will be back!"

  • Views, beautiful, comfortable, quiet.

"This is a lovely complex in the hills above the town of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. The condo is beautiful, spacious, airy, bright and very well appointed. Kitchen well stocked, nice beds, linens, towels, etc. Lots of toys in the unit for all sorts of activities. The view from the deck is great for morning breakfasts with a view of the bay of Banderas. We watched the New Years fireworks all around the bay toward Puerto Vallarta from the balcony. The pools are very nice, especially the one at the beach club. Good food and drinks at the beach club. The ocean water at the beach is a little rough and best entered at high tide, so you don't scrape up your feet. If it is a busy time of year, you'll need to get to the club early to get a lounge chair. The town is rustic and not modern, it is an easy walk, and there are some nice little restaurants. But you'll need to go back to Bucerias or farther for decent groceries. Taxis are fairly good so you can go without a car, and there is also transit for the more adventurous which is very cheap. The fish market at the marina is amazing. And there is a nice Sunday craft market at the marina."
