  • beautiful casa

"Every angle of Casa Polo is interesting and beautiful, with hand plastered colored walls and straw mat-textured ceilings. The casa was open to its green and flowery courtyard and we were very comfortable. The manager, Abigail, was very helpful, friendly and available. The village of San Pancho/San Francisco was small and friendly and we loved walking the length of the main street to the beach, plenty of colorful buildings and plenty of small shops and places to eat and drink. A delightful change from big Puerto Vallarta, well worth the trip."

  • Amazing!

"Our stay at Casa Contente was incredible. The beach in Marina Chacala was the most pristine I've experienced in Mexico, it was perfect for Boogie boarding and swimming with a toddler. The pools were well maintained, the tennis courts were immaculate and we were pleasantly surprised to find a small restaurant and the beach club. The house was exactly as it shows in the photos. The outdoor living room was where we spent most of our time and overlooked a beautiful garden. The whole house is surrounded by the jungle, it gives it so much privacy it feels like you have your own exclusive sanctuary. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and Javier was super attentive and helpful. Marina Chacala is large property and the house is located only 50m up the hill from the beach which made it really convenient, I'd recommend Casa Contente to anyone but especially to families with small children and we can't wait to return."

  • Spectacular Views and Crashing Ocean Waves

"We stayed in January 2017 with other couples and had a great vacation. The 5-star reviews on this property are all spot on! The views from every room in the villa are stunning. Everyone had their own oceanfront bedroom with on-suite bathroom and full patio with loungers. We loved having our doors open at night, falling asleep and waking up to crashing ocean waves. The villa sits on top of a hill with stairs leading down to the rocks on the ocean. We had a couple of windy days that made for some fun and loud waves over the rocks. It is possible to walk down the rocks a little further to a fairly small beach, but there is also another beach within a short (hilly) walk that goes for miles and is virtually empty. It makes for a great long beach walk if you are looking for that. La Penita is within a 5 minute walk, but you can also call a cab easily and for 30 pesos (at the time US $1.50), you can go anywhere in La Penita or neighboring Guayabitos. We found many excellent restaurants in Guayabitos; Pina Loca, Rodeo, & Wandas, etc. On a side note, the roads leading to the villa are a little bumpy! Sal was very accommodating and was nearby to help with any questions we had. We grew attached to one of the guard dogs we affectionately called "Rocky" as he fetched rocks (and has no interest in sticks) while we waited for our cabs. We even bought him a ball in town and it made his day! I also ran on my own from the villa into Guayabitos and felt very safe doing so. The roads are a little smoother in Guayabitos! Thank you for a wonderful week!!"

  • Most relaxing San Pancho vacation of the four we have taken

"We came back to the Casita Celestial because of our great experience three years ago. "Casita" may convey the wrong impression - it's not a tiny unit: two full-size bedrooms with comfortable King beds, a full-size kitchen with a huge island for preparing meals, working, laying out your "compras", etc. drinkable water from the tap, lots of hot water feeding two large tiles showers, short 10-minute walk to the North end (least used) of the gorgeous San Pancho beach, lots of room under the large palapa for yoga, reading, etc. This time, the Roberts (owners) were in the "big" house - the Casa que Canta - and could not have been more gracious, reaching out to their two guest couples with local background and information, and to ensure we were comfortable. We always enjoy walking into town and back, sometimes pausing at favorite stops along the way, such as the Café Manana (for Oaxacan coffee roasted onsite, baked goods, and books) or for breakfast at any number of places - large or small, gringo-fied or local - along the Avenida Tercer Mundo."
