  • Fabulous family vacation!

"All 13 of us want to go back to Caida de Aqua as soon as possible. The house was beautiful and accommodated us wonderfully! Arnoldo and Louisa and their staff attended to our every need and helped make our stay there exceptional. We look forward to our next vacation there!!!! ML Derksen"

  • More than amazing...

"It was a unique and exquisite opportunity to experience total tranquility among an incredibly attentive and lively staff. We relaxed in the open air living area with a view of the pacific ocean (and some whales), sat on the beach (or by the pool) reading with a margarita close by, or kayaked out to meet the pelicans on the close by island. And most/more importantly we savoured the delicious gourmet meals created by the chefs at Villa Caleta."

  • Perfect Beachfront Suite in Charming Town

"Lo De Marcos is a gem of a 'pueblito' and this beachfront suite/condo was a perfect complement to the town. We stayed here with our three girls, ages 2, 4, and 6 and they had a blast in the pool and on the beach. The pool is small, but it was the perfect size for the 4 & and 6 year old. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the beach! Unfortunately, the Martinez's were not around while we were there, but their caretakers Tony and Carla were and they were very helpful and fun to talk to. Our girls loved all the animals in town - there are chickens and dogs roaming everywhere and you might run into a horse every now and then (we also went horseback riding with Lenny - search for horseback riding in Lo De Marcos for him). The town square was great with it's little park and bouncy house that would open up in the evening. There was also live music on Thursdays at 7 or 8 pm where it seemed like the whole town came out! We spent one evening looking for Luna's Restaurant based on some of the reviews here... we found out, though, that it is closed now. The beach was great. The waves/current were a little stronger right out in front of the place. If you walked 1/2 mile or so you could get to some calmer waters. There are 3 restaurants on the beach. Olivia's is right next to the Suite and the food is delicious, but be prepared to wait a while for the food! No problem if you don't have young kids, but for us it was a little difficult. Can't say enough about how great everything was in the town and the suite! One last thing... my wife was a little worried about finding coffee, but it was no problem as there is a sports bar called "Endless Summer" owned by a Candian that also runs a little espresso stand out of it that makes good coffee."

  • Absolutely Perfect!

"Kim and I enjoyed our stay so very much. Annie's was there to welcome welcome us upon arrival and her casita was absolutely beautiful. The open air kitchen was so perfect, everything clean, well equipped and some basic supplies(coffee, yogurt & milk) in the fridge for our arrival. It was an easy walk to the beach and town with lots of alternative areas to explore as well. Annie was the best host ever always available when we needed some info or directions. we only wish we could have stayed longer but the short time we were there we enjoyed every minute. Thank you Annie"
