  • Perfect VRBO for first time to Nuevo Vallarta

"We can't say enough good things about this property. We went over Christmas break for a much needed vacation and the two bedroom condo was the right fit for our 4 person family. Nestled in between other larger resorts, the resort is on the beach and big enough to meet all a families needs - two large pools, Jacuzzi, poolside palapas for breakfast, lunch and fun beverages - but small enough that you didn't have the crowd that you saw on the beach down the way. The condo is located on the second floor accessible by one flight of stairs or an elevator. When you arrive, it's like walking in your house and knowing everything you need is there - all the appropriate kitchen items including spices and condiments. There are plenty of towels and linens. The number of beach towels is especially important if you are going to spend time on the beach every day. Two boogie boards were there for riding the waves in. Our kids spent most of their time at the beach on in the pools. One of our favorite things about the property was the poolside palapas. Oscar and his family run this small bar and grill. We'd venture out of the resort for dinners but most of the time, breakfast and lunch were had at the palapas. Prices were very good and the menu had enough variety to keep you interested. And if Oscar asks you if you want Green Juice for breakfast, you ought to try it. It was very good. We've stayed in a lot of different VRBOs all over the US with great success but Jewel really takes extra care of you and this was appreciated as it was our first time to PV. There is an extensive binder with recommendations for restaurants and shopping and you should pay attention to things that are highlighted. Bucerias is just a short taxi ride away and there is plenty of shopping, eating and galleries to occupy a full day. For us, this vacation was about sitting by the beach and getting a much needed rest. Everything we needed was right there without fighting crowds or obnoxious people. The only caveat is that the WIFI is really lacking. Jewel and I discussed it and you can work around it if it's important to you. It was our only negative about the trip and it seems trivial to bring it up but if you have to do some work online while you are there, you might get frustrated. Nonetheless, we'd go back and stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jewel for your hospitality."

  • Great stay at Villa La Estancia

"Just returned from seven days in Nuevo Vallarta and had a wonderful time. Stayed in a 2 bdr/3bth and it was perfect - huge bedrooms and the bath in the master was almost as large, complete with jet tub. The full size kitchen was much needed as we skipped the all-inclusive option at the resort (by the way, we ate and drank to our hearts content everywhere we went, and didn't come close to the cost of what the all-inclusive would have cost us, not to mention the variety of eating at different places). For us, the highlight of the unit was the terrace and location of the unit itself, within the resort. The terrace was massive with three ceiling fans and the ability for sun/shade at most times of the day, and overlooked the pool. The unit was also very close to the beach which allowed us to keep the screen doors open and hear the ocean while we slept. As for location, it was a 90 second walk to the pool and just 2 minutes to the sister property, Flamingos; this essentially doubled the functional size of the resort with twice the pool, beach, and restaurant options - and, this is exclusive to Villa residents only, as Flamingos guests cannot utilize the Villa grounds. So, you can always choose between a quiet or more lively resort environment. The last comments I'll make are around the location of the resort itself, within the Puerto Vallarta area. First off, you're at the north end of Nuevo Vallarta which makes it perhaps the most quiet stretch of NV - very few if any beach peddlers - yet just a 10 min drive to central NV. The resort is also just a 10 and 15 minute drive to central Bucerias and La Cruz respectively; check out both towns, as they both have charming, unique qualities and great restaurant options - and a much more traditional feel than PV or NV. Sayulita is a must and just a 35 min drive. Finally, PV is 20-25 min. depending on where you're headed. So, VLE is an ideal central location to many different towns. Again, a great unit, resort, and destination experience - we'll be back!"

  • Karen B.

"We booked this condo during our 3 month get-away to Nuevo in 2015. Lynn, the owner, was great in arranging for us to view the condo & complex and once we did, we knew it was where we wanted to spend our 3 months in 2016. The condo is very well appointed and we welcomed the 3rd bedroom/bathroom for our guests. Everything in the condo worked well and, if any issue was identified, Lynn could be counted on to make sure it was handled quickly with the help of her property manager, Erika. There is a king bed in the master, queen in the 2nd front bedroom and twin beds in the 3rd bedroom. The sound of the waves crashing could be heard from each of the bedrooms and each also had a view of the ocean. All the beds were extremely comfortable and were well outfitted with linens. Towels were abundant and available in each bedroom. This condo was not equipped with a washer/dryer, however, laundry service was available within the complex for a reasonable cost. There was a local bus available every 30 minutes to Puerto Vallarta and taxi's which would be called by the guard at the front gate to take you anywhere else you wanted to go. Mega was within walking distance and so was the town of Bucerias located just north of Nuevo. There is a market every Tuesday morning held behind the casino which offers artisans work, food & produce and you can then walk to Paradise Plaza where you can then access the local bus back to the condo. Dealing with the owner, Lynn, was great from the first time of contact until we were on our way home! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo for short or long stays while visiting Nuevo."

  • Perfect stay!

"The stay was perfect all the way from the first moment we contacted Bill until when we left the property. The apartment is beautiful and huge, very high quality, for sure it is one of the best properties in Puerto Vallarta area. The pictures in the website looks nice but once you get there it's even better. Also the location is great as we wanted to visit Sayulita, Punta de Mita and Puerto Vallarta, all these locations are just a short drive. Even though the property was great and the whole stay was excellent, Bill really goes the extra mile that your whole experience is without any problem. Definitely staying here again when we go back. Thanks Bill!"
