  • Amazing!

"The resort meet and beat all of our expectations! Service and staff were wonderful and the room was incredible! Many dining options from gourmet French to grab and go! Room service menu very extensive (including pizza delivery). Resort is big, but with many shuttles and ample walk way to get around. We're already looking at our schedule for a repeat trip! Scott and Lacy were wonderful to work with! Looking forward to booking another trip with them!"

  • Amazing Resort w/ Amazing Rooms

"My wife and I spent the first part of our 10 year anniversary here at the Grand Luxxe lofts at Vidanta, and boy did it impress! Everything about this resort is top notch luxury. The Room: As I mentioned, we stayed in the Luxxe lofts, which is the newest building on the resort. New usually means epically nice when it comes to Mexico resorts, and this is no different. The room was spacious and elegant, equipped with a private plunge pool overlooking downtown PV, a huge jetted tub and a large walk-in shower. We felt like Royalty in this tower and are already trying to figure out how we can replicate the smells with our own essential oil air diffuser :). The Resort: One word - MASSIVE. Although the Luxxe loft tower is nestled way back in the corner of the resort, it wasn't too hard to trek through the amazing grounds (covered in beautiful vegetation) to the beautiful pools on the Luxxe side. We did enjoy the rooftop pool in our tower - it's brand new and the views are amazing - but the real experience is when you go explore all the cool areas the resort has to offer. We were there 5 full days and never spent time in the same place, which made for a unique experience each and every day. We would basically choose our location based on the mood we were in; we'd stick on the Luxxe side if we wanted to chill, but we'd head over to the Bliss and Mayan area if we wanted a more lively crowd with music, activities, etc. Note if you stay in the Luxxe towers, you have access to every area of the resort - this is a HUGE plus! The Food: We never had a bad meal, and we didn't leave the resort for 5 full days, so we had a lot of meals!!!! I was worried the prices would be steep, but they weren't too bad. It was a special event for us, so I wasn't keeping an eye on every little thing, but I would estimate we spent ~150 USD per day for everything, including many drinks throughout the day. We did make reservations every night, but even though it was high-season, we feel we could have shown up and gotten a table with no issues. Still we recommend making reservations with the concierge on the floor of your room. The Staff: They were everywhere - I think there are over 6,000 employees in all - and they were fantastic. They were always there to greet you and assist with anything/everything. The service was quick, yet relaxed, which never made us feel rushed or stressed. All in all, we had a fantastic time and we will definitely be going back in the future!!!"

  • Perfect Paradise and Super Owner!

"We can't thank Shaun enough for offering his vacation rental on VRBO!!! We have friends who own property at the Grand Luxxe and we were so excited when we saw that we could stay in the same location. Everything about the property is just as the pictures is a beautiful and well-maintained property. We loved the poolside happy hour every day and can't say enough about the cerviche and the fresh-grilled red snapper....yum!!! Surprising to us, we've done all-inclusive resorts in the past and I believe that we actually spent less overall than if we had gone to a similar all-inclusive resort. As for Shaun, he is fantastic to work with. We had a special request that had to be worked through him to the resort and he graciously helped ensure our needs were met. He also provided good guidance on transportation and spa/golf tips. He was very timely and friendly in his responses. I would gladly rent from him again."

  • Wow... just breathtaking!

"My family stayed in this suite last year. We were lucky, we knew the owner, who had not yet decided to advertise on VRBO. I was really swept away. First of all, we were met personally at the Puerto Vallarta Airport, and escorted to The Residence, the exclusive tower that houses the Four Bedroom Suites , and nothing else. After checking in and getting our Platinum level bracelets, up we went in a private elevator that opened right into our suite. The first thing I saw was the view straight through the living/dining room, which was of the entire Grand Luxxe Residence Club and the bay beyond. Talk about a WOW view. I walked right through the living room area and out onto the terrace, and realized that it ran the entire length of the suite, with sitting areas, outdoor dining possibilities, and a small private pool. It was stunning, such a lovely place to relax and have coffee in the morning! The suite itself is spectacular, I’m told close to 7,000 square feet! An open living/dining /kitchen area which can easily accommodate 10-12 people, a bar, washer/dryer, and 4 exquisite bedroom suites, each with en-suite bath. And all 4 bedrooms have terraces. The #1 Master shares the huge terrace facing the bay, and the other 3 bedrooms, face the opposite direction, which is a pretty interesting view. My favorite feature of The Residence Tower was the spectacular roof-top swimming pool. Views not only across the entire resort, but also of Puerto Vallarta across the bay. I could have stayed in the roof-top hot tub the entire visit. The small, high-end, market in La Plaza is only a short walk or golf cart ride away, we got all our food needs, including spectacular pastries and ready made dishes, there. The Resort is very large, 2,500 acres, but it did not feel that way. It is traversed by wooden pedestrian walkways that take you anywhere you want to go, or there are frequent golf cart style shuttles. The ocean was warm, the beach huge! And the pools! Each more spectacular than the next. We were told the resort was almost fully booked, yet it never felt crowded. We dined out every night, and with the exchange rate where it was, very inexpensive. We didn’t play golf but talked with members who do who said both courses are great fun to play. They were also just starting to build a new par 3 course, so maybe we can try that when we return, which I am already planning to do! Bottom line, this was a super visit at an outstanding resort."
