  • Wonderful Condo, Great Location, Amazing Food

"We had a wonderful experience in Punta Mita. The condo total exceeded our expectations, from the accommodations, to the facilities and the location. We are looking forward to coming back and will definitely rent this condo again if it is available. The condo was more than large enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, and with 2 king beds would also be perfect for 2 couples. We did not have a bad meal at the local restaurants and found the information provided by the owners incredibly helpful. Our favorite activity while we were there was the snorkeling and whale watch trip we took using Cooperativa El Anclote. With Tip and Local Park Taxes it was less than $200 for all 4 of us, and was about 2.5hours long. Our favorite beach was the locals beach east of the Cooperativa. We got a table at Oscar's Fish Tacos and rented boogie board and had a great day. This beach is a beautiful white sand beach, but I would still recommend reef shoes when swimming as rocks are present in the water, and can be sharp."

  • Fantastic location in a fantastic town

"The condo is fantastic - spacious, tastefully decorated, and with an absolutely perfect location. We traveled around the area a bit (had dinner at one of the nearby resort-restaurants, visited Sayulita, Bucerias, and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle) and always came back preferring Punta de Mita. Fantastic beach. String of super-tasty restaurants. Numerous little markets for groceries (in case you don't feel like going all the way out to the Mega). And the complex's pool is perfect for when you don't feel like going all the way down to the beach (in other words, in case you only want to walk 10 feet instead of 20). Before we got there, we did wonder what it would be like to have a shared pool right outside our windows. We did not find it a problem in any way whatsoever. Granted, it was slow season, so there was only one or two other groups using it (I think up to 6 have access)... but it's so bright outside, you can't see into the darker interior of the condo. Or, there are semi-transparent curtains you can draw... or full-on non-transparent curtains. Whatever your comfort level, you'll be able to be comfortable. Meanwhile, being able to walk out your sliding door and into a pool that overlooks a great beach is pretty priceless. Finally... the on-site management is handled by the excellent Carmen. She was very relaxed and helpful. She provides a grocery-pick-up service, so we came to the condo with stuff already in the fridge. She put us in contact with a reliable taxi driver to get us to the condo and back to the airport. She coordinates cleaning crews. It's just good to have someone like that available for questions. All in all... really tough to beat!"

  • Lovely property on the beach in Punta Mita

"This is a very nice property with a terrific location. The set-up is really nice with the pool right next to the beach. If you want to sit under the shade at the pool you can watch the rest of your party if they are playing on the beach. Two minutes walk down the beach you can rent surf boards and paddle boards. We took a long paddle board all the way up to the point, but go in the early morning or late in the day when the wind dies down. The beach is quiet and not crowded, which is nice. It is five minutes walk into Punta Mita village where there are lots of good restaurants. We particularly liked Si Señor, Serendipity and Blue Shrimp. Donna and Richard provide boogie boards, which the kids have fun with. There were wonderful hosts and very accommodating. There is a small shop in Punta Mita near La Teresa, but you should shop at Mega beforehand if you really feel like you need a lot of groceries. We did buy our vegetables from the crazy grocery pickup truck, which was fun and easy. Make sure your bring your own soap, laundry detergent and shampoo as those are not provided. In our view, the biggest advantage of the site was the close location of most things you would want. You can walk to a surf shop and get lessons, to the various fishing expedition shops and to the adventure shops that take you to the islands. For city dwellers that hate to drive it is just perfect. We didn't rent a car. However, the taxi service is a racket. $70 out and $100 back for a 45 minute drive in Mexico. Definitely some collusion going on there between the drivers. Overall, a very enjoyable trip."
