  • What a beautiful, wonderful place to experience Mexico!

"I have to say that Casa Fortuna was even more than what I expected. It is a beautiful, charming villa right on the beach and we enjoyed every minute staying there. We celebrated our daughter's wedding and it was such a beautiful setting and a perfect place to do it. Rick and Sandy, the caretakers, were amazing. Sandy was invaluable with her help organizing for the big day (flowers, photographer, tables etc). She also made all the food for it, which was incredibly delicious! The home is very roomy and the beds were very comfortable. The deck views from the three bedrooms on the second floor were beautiful. You can eat up there if you wish or down below in the gorgeous garden which has a lot of shade too. I can't say enough as to how beautiful and wonderful this place is. The town also is very close by which we walked to often. The restaurants there are very good and reasonable compare to the big resort towns. Swimming at the beach or in the pool at the villa was great too. The home felt very safe and well protected by Rick and Sandy as well as how the grounds are set up to be secure. We can't say enough how wonderful this vacation/celebration event was for all 8 of us who stayed at the villa. It was second to none!! Thank you Sherry too (the owner) for all your help. You were so patient with me as well as my daughter. We will be back again someday! Elaine"

  • Little bit of Paradise

"I hesitate to write this review for very selfish reasons. My wife and I stayed in Casa Perros for two weeks in July and LOVED every minute of it. Greg is an excellent host who is always there when you need him but never there when you don't. A great balance of knowing someone has your back without being intrusive at all. The Casa is just perfect with literally everything you need for staying in Paradise. The kitchen is everything you need, the bathroom and shower is an experience of craftsmanship, the air conditioners work really well and the deck ... the deck is simply amazing with an incredible view of Sayulita and the ocean. Furthermore, the Casa is in a great location, a 5 min walk from the beach and the the town plaza. Every day my wife and I would get up, have a little breakfast and coffee on the deck, go down to the beach for a few hours, have a late lunch in any one of the amazing street restaurants, head back up the steep hill (it is steep but not long) past the giant iguanas and land crabs and chickens and roosters and back to the Casa for an afternoon siesta. In the evening we would head back into the heart of Sayulita surrounding the plaza and have an amazing and authentic Mexican meal, go for a stroll along the beach and back up the hill to our beautiful little Casa. Like I say, a little bit of paradise. Thanks Greg and Juicy (Greg's little Chihuahua) for an amazing stay. We look forward to staying with you again."

  • Perfect Spot for First Timers To Sayulita

"My wife and I spent 7 days at the Casita on our first visit to Sayulita. It was an ideal spot to stay, everything was as advertised, the owners were awesome and gave great tips on where to eat and other things to do. They really helped us out from our arrival to our departure. Everything was a short walk away. For first time visitors this is an excellent option and once you stay there you will want to come back. Thanks Jeana for everything we really had a great stay at the Casita!"

  • Fantastic Proprty and Hosts!

"We spent 2 1/2 wonderful weeks at Sunset Casa in the Aztec Suite. Dan and Robi were great hosts and we quickly became good friends with them. Their knowledge of the area proved invaluable and the small town of La Penita is charming. There are enough good restaurants and a great selection of fresh produce and fish if you choose to cook in. We did not rent a car and don't see the need for one as local transportation to neighboring villages is very reasonable. We would come back here in a heartbeat! Oh, and Milo, Dan and Robi's Schnauzer is absolutely adorable. Thanks again Dan and Robi. We hope that our paths will cross in the not too distant future."
