  • Ocean views we still dream about!

"The views from Casa Ladera are simply breathtaking. Every morning we sip our coffee on the upper veranda listening to the birds and the waves; every evening we are treated to a spectacular sunset while sitting in the plunge pool. The quiet & private location allows for pleasant walks along the uncrowded beach into town or out into the jungle for a cool morning workout. All of the comforts of home are to be found - wonderful beds with a/c and full bathrooms; fully stocked kitchen and a gas grill to cook as often as we wanted; wifi to keep us connected to the real world; multiple choices of places to sit back and relax. The owners have thought of every detail to make Casa Ladera our own shangri-la! San Pancho itself is such a special place to visit. It is tranquil and not overly touristy like neighboring Sayulita yet still offers an amazing variety of dining choices. You can sit in a beachfront restaurant and sip a cold drink watching the surfers without being pressured to go on a time-share tour like in Puerto Vallarta. We have stayed at Casa Ladera a handful of times over the years and it continues to exceed our expectations with each visit. The owners are easy to contact, quick to respond to any questions and have a vast knowledge of the area - from restaurant suggestions to where to find freshly caught fish to bring back and grill. We highly recommend Casa Ladera and are already planning our next visit!"

  • Delightful getaway to paradise

"Fabulous tropical getaway in the dead of winter here in the Mid-Atlantic. House exceptionally spacious and well-equipped; staff so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Village combines hip, surf attitude with old world Mexican charm to create a truly unforgettable vacation. Although I admittedly spent much of the time lounging around the pool, the beach is quite easy to access and is very serene. Can't wait to plan my next getaway."

  • Exceeded our expectations!

"Staying in a lush garden/jungle setting was relaxing and refreshing. There were multiple areas for the 4 of us to spend our time either alone or enjoying each other's company. The house was nicely situated in a quiet area from which we had a comfortable walk into town each day. We thoroughly enjoyed the yoga center, walking along the roads, surfing, birding, watching the sunsets from the beach, and eating what ever we wanted at as many restaurants as possible (town deep water well provides clean water). We were lucky enough to meet the most gracious owners who could not have been more generous with their time and information. Bob, their property manager, was also very helpful and always responded to our email/text queries almost immediately. On short notice, Bob was able to arrange massages for my daughter and myself on the palapa of the casita. We had very positive experiences with everyone that we interacted with in San Pancho. This was a wonderful easy going trip for my husband and myself and our east coast daughter and her partner."

  • Comfort and ease

"In town casual comfort here suited our group of four adults and a toddler. San Pancho is charming, pretty, friendly, and laid back. Although we rented a car (from Gecko in Bucerias--highly recommend) one would not need one here. This property is walkable to terrific restaurants and nice shops (Hotel Cielo Rojo breakfasts were divine, beachfront La Perla is a great place to park oneself on a lazy day, and we loved rustic Tacos de Amor just down the block, etc--we use TripAdvisor for restaurant reviews and they are spot on). The house is also well equipped with a full kitchen, plenty of beach towels and linens, excellent air conditioning for those really hot days, and a nice pool to cool off in with a box full of plastic toys for the little ones. Excellent owner communications, house manager Eduardo was available when we needed him and housekeeper Marlena kept the place clean and tidy. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat."
