"We had an incredible stay at Villa Sol Blau. Hard to believe but the Villa is even more beautiful than the photos. Villa is well kept, kitchen had all the basics needed to cook at home, appliances work well and the air conditioning was an added bonus. The house manager, Omar, was a great resource, he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless. Villa is a close walk to town (10 minutes) and beach (5 minutes). Renting a golf cart is an easy and reliable option too. We hope to return to Sayulita and Villa Sol Blau in the future."

  • charming little house

"Stayed here in July and had a great time. Kitchen is well equipped pots, pans, blender, microwave, dishes etc. Plenty of room for 5 ppl more if needed. Beautiful gardens ate a couple mangos off the tress and the kids got a kick out of the iguanas sunning on the roof. We enjoyed sitting in the hammock and watching the evening storms. The wifi did not work the whole trip so plan accordingly if that's really important to you. The kids thought it was more important than we did. There Are coffee shops, liquor stores, little stops for ice cream or food within a few hundred feet in most any direction... The central part of town is 3-5 blocks away a wonderful beach for swimming two blocks away."

  • Great Beach Trip

"I had the pleasure of staying in Copa de Oro recently with a group of friends. The location is perfect: on a world class warm water beach only a 10 minute walk to town. The tropically landscaped grounds include two pools for sunning and swimming. The three bedroom three bathroom house with a large living area itself allows for flexibility in relaxation. We sometimes cooked meals in the modern kitchen, but most enjoyed margaritas and guacamole on the thatched-roof palapa (outdoor covered patio) before heading to town for an evening meal. All in all, thumbs up and a five star rating from this happy guest."

  • Private, amazing pool, amazing view. Very relaxing.

"We recently stayed at Casa Los Loros for 7 nights and had an amazing time. We were two adult couples from Vancouver, Canada and a spare from Miami, Fl. Firstly, I find it a bit odd that other reviewers keep moaning about the stairs. It's not THAT bad at all. In fact, I remember distinctly laughing about it with the posse. It's a big beautiful hacienda overlooking the jungle & ocean. There will be stairs. You will be fine. The road (Nanzal) to the place however... Wowza. Really steep and winding. It's definitely not good for very unfit types or the elderly or folks with mobility issues. Actually who am I kidding? It‘s GREAT for unfit types or taco whores like myself. But seriously, the walk from the house to town/beach is so beautiful that we actually enjoyed it a lot. When returning we would walk sometimes for excercise and get taxis more often. Aida, as per other reviews, was so great. A warm soul. She has a sweet little boy named Marcos Jr. and a dog named Bobby. We downloaded the pro version of an amazing translation app called iTranslate Pro and could converse with them over WiFi in almost real time. (BTW, said app is Star Trek level cool and helped around town as well). She made us an amazing traditional dinner one night and we insisted that she and her son join us. The pool was a bloody life saver. Sayulita is very hot & humid and we used it often. Coming from the Pacific North West we‘re not used to that kind of heat and it took a few days to acclimate. The pool is a perfect size and depth for all types of people. Oddly, the ocean feels even warmer. The pool is refreshing. We would definitely stay at Casa Los Loros again. We would definitely visit Sayulita again too... Actually if we had the pesos we would most definitely buy a place there. Sayulita is paradise! Randy, as per other reviews was a great digital liaison and we at no point felt left in the dark. You may see the odd critter in the house... This is normal for this part of the world. You‘re in THEIR jungle after all. We miss Sayulita so much. Back to work on Monday. :-( (Save me!) Pro tip: There is a restaurant in town called Yeikame (Yelp it). We loved it so much that we ate there for breakfast like six times. BEST huevos rancheros ever ever ever. Lunch & dinner great too. If you can't goto Bucerias for banking we found a solid ATM outside of Su Casa bar. Also outside the liquor store across from Choco Banana. The other ATMs in town are super sketchy."
