  • Beautiful, Spacious Villa in Paradise!

"We stayed at Casa Del Cielo in August 2016 and absolutely loved this house! The spacious, open living area has an incredible view of the ocean, the jungle and downtown Sayulita. We spent many nights having drinks and enjoying the spectacular view! The kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking and entertaining and also has the great view. The 4 bedrooms (all with connecting bathrooms) were very comfortable. It was quite hot and humid during our visit in August. The house has no air conditioning but the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and throughout the house made the heat tolerable during this warmest time of the year. Also, being on top of a hill, the house gets a nice breeze which also helps. The house has a great pool which also has the ocean and downtown Sayulita views. There's nice outside shower in the pool area, which is great for rinsing off the sand when returning from the beach. The owner of the property, Karen, is wonderful. She was very helpful in providing details about the property to make our arrival and stay go smoothly. Karen also has great suggestions about Sayulita (restaurants, shops, beaches, transportation, etc.). The property caretakers were also very nice and responsive to our needs. We are a family of four and the house had plenty of room for us. The house can easily accommodate two families or 4 couples. The location of the house is fantastic. It's situated on a hill just outside of the downtown area which gives you peace and quiet and lots of privacy. Yet it's close enough to walk to downtown (about 1/2 mile) if you choose to do so. Going to downtown is all downhill and very easy. Coming back you'll have a steep hill to climb which is something to keep in mind, particularly when it's hot. Overall, we loved Casa Del Cielo and look forward to returning. We recommend this house if you want the true feeling of living in a Mexican Hacienda style house, with great indoor/outside living area."

  • Best location best time in a long time

"Well thought out is the first thing that comes to mind from the very beginning of our family trip. The shuttle service from sayulita sayulita was great door-to-door service and they couldn't have been nicer. We were speechless once we unloaded and soaked in the view. The houses were immaculate brand-new I should live so well at home. The best part about this place is the privacy on the northside as we spent the better part of the vacation on the property. This place does not feel like a rental at all and we were blown away by the linens, beds and furniture, kitchen stuff etc. all felt and had to be expensive and we definitely felt the difference. Can't say enough about Martin who is extremely helpful and the golf cart was super fun for my kids. The town Center is two blocks down the hill and three blocks to the left so less than five minutes. We've already booked for next year thanks again!!"

  • The Perfect Sayulita stay!

"We had a fantastic stay at the Casa de las Delicias in April - the weather was warm and the sea was calm all week and perfect for the children. The casa has everything you could need - a really well equipped kitchen, a refreshing pool (much bigger than we expected), lovely palapa for breakfasts and dinners under the stars, and a comfortable lounge area. The house is a short walk from the center of town which means that you can escape from the noise and nightlife and escape into the sounds of nature - there are so many tropical birds and you feel like you are on the edge of the rainforest. We would thoroughly recommend Casa de las Delicias, and we really hope to go back soon! Thanks Connie!"

  • Gorgeous View!

"The home is located on a hill that gives you truly a spectacular view. 3 of the bedrooms are either on the main floor or upstairs & are very comfortable. I was not a fan of the 2 bedrooms downstairs as the walk to them is "dungeon-like." All the bedrooms do have a/c units & these are a must if you are staying in high humidity months. Unfortunately, the main living area does not have an a/c & it would have been nice to have that comfort in such warm weather. The home was very clean upon arrival but there is some TLC that is needed. The pool has missing tiles that make it look tired & there are cushions with rips in them that need to be replaced. The shower faucets look tired as well, they are clean but look very old. Keep in mind that there is NO jacuzzi - the smaller round structure by the pool is just a smaller pool. The two master bedrooms upstairs have a beautiful shower where one side is open to the spectacular view with beautiful plants for privacy. The only complaint is that these showers have very little pressure so if you are prepared with that mindset & do not expect powerful pressure then you will be fine. (Don't forget to bring your own shampoo/ conditioners/soaps as they do not provide this < which I think they should). Staying 5 days without fresh bath towels in humid weather is not a good idea so I would suggest paying extra for fresh linens daily as the humidity does not allow the towels to dry thoroughly. If you plan to use the pool or go to the beach, bring your own beach towels as the ones they provide are just old, small bath towels < again, I think they should invest in quality beach towels for guests & charge guests if they disappear. The property managers Sara & Heather do a great job communicating & taking care of your questions. The owner, Theresa is also very responsive to questions. I would suggest if you rent a golf cart to ask for the super rugged type with heavier wheels as the dirt road to the home has huge bumps and divots. Also keep in mind that you are in a jungle-like atmosphere, there are all sorts of bugs, insects, geckos & tons of moths. There is a family that lives on the property who take care of the home & I asked the lady if she could spray for bugs as there were so many & it made a huge difference. I think this is something that perhaps should be done without having to ask for it. (There is also a hornets nest on the outside shower by the pool which prevented us from using it)"
