  • Great p

"Had a wonderful 10 days with my teacher friend at Casa de las Jardines. After hot humid, but very interesting exploration of San Pancho, it was so good to comeback to the pleasant apartment. Fridge and small range made storing and cooking food easy. Beds were super comfortable and fans in all the rooms alleviated the heat well. Only two left turns got us easily to the Main Street. Felt safe the entire time, even walking home after dark. Nice neighbors and friendly dog and cat made it feel like home. You'll love the place. Roomy, quiet and filled all our needs. Thanks Pati. I foresee coming backs little earlier in the year."

  • We would stay again.

"We just returned from two weeks in this beautiful condo. Great location, easy walking to the little mall as well as some great restaurants. It had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and great pillows(very important to me). The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer made the packing easy. The condo was spotless when we arrived and is beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the fun staff in the Villa Magna snack bar and the prices there were very good. Being attached to the dreams resort gives an option for buying an all inclusive day or two as well. The only problem we had was with wifi but that's a small problem experienced almost everywhere on occasion. The owner was great to deal with."

  • Summer Family Vacation

"This was our first visit to Villa Sirena and will not be our last. We were traveling with our two teenage daughters and our nephews. The house and property is beautiful, tastefully decorated and conveniently located to all the resorts activities. The layout of the house allows for togetherness, but also privacy (wonderful when traveling with older teens/20 somethings who may want to stay up later than us!). The views are spectacular. Each evening was a treat to watch beautiful sunsets or spectacular lightning shows from the covered veranda. Personal staff is provided and were exceptional in arranging activities, daily meals of our choice (delicious) and cleanliness of villa. They were superb in doing all of this in a manner as to still give us our privacy. We had access to all the amenities of the Four Seasons Resort which was top notch. The beaches and pools are beautiful. This was a wonderful trip. The kids said "best trip ever" and we are all looking forward to our next visit."

  • Excellent Customer Service

"OK, full disclosure up front! We visited Villa La Estancia in March 2016 but Melba and Tom's unit was not available so Melba arranged a very similar unit for us on the fifth floor. A bit of background on unit numbers at this resort. Rooms all have a four digit number, then an A or a B. The first digit represents the building number (1,2,3), the second the floor number and the last two the actual unit number. In general, for buildings 1 and 3 which are the ones that run perpendicular to the ocean along the sides of the resort, the lower the unit number, the closer to the ocean. There are a few maps on Google images that show the layout and this is important. Building 1 gets the afternoon and evening sun and view of the sunset. Building 3 gets the morning sun. Units closer to the beach are generally better, particularly for view and sun. So the ideal units are generally 1-5 in buildings 1 and 3 and maybe the units on the higher floors in building 2. Most units (except penthouses) are either 2+1 or 1+1. A 2+1 has two bedrooms in the main unit, then another bedroom immediately beside it. There is a gate common to both the A and B units but it is not secure enough to leave the doors between them open if you are not around. Both the A and B units have a hotel style card lock door that you need to keep closed at night for security. If you have kids and want them in a separate bedroom, getting one of the 'real' 2 bedroom units is important. The 1+1 would likely not make most parents comfortable! If your kids are older, then no problem. You also share the balcony so can go between rooms that way. Our unit was a 2+1 and we had our two older kids (18,23) so we used all three bedrooms. The units are well appointed. We opted not to go for the all inclusive meal plan as it was fairly expensive. There are so many restaurants to visit in the area that it would be a shame to spend all of your time just at the resort. We went to the Mega store (15 minute walk, cheap taxi back) for groceries on day 1 to stock up and did most breakfasts in our unit, then either ate lunch at the resort, at Flamingos next door (part of the same chain so you have full access) or in Bucerias (15-20 min walk or $8US cab). There are four bathrooms and four showers in a 2+1 so plenty of space. Beds are comfortable, water is safe. Out of space so look for our review in Trip Advisor under Oakvillites"
