  • Outstanding experience

"My husband and I recently had the opportunity to stay almost two full weeks at Casa Angel. It was our first time in Mexico, and our experience with the house and the town of Sayulita was outstanding. The house is as beautiful as it shows in photos. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need. The water quality is excellent; we drank tap water without issue. The beds are very comfortable; sleeping under a palapa roof is a unique experience; the detail and uniformity of the fronds above are amazing. The swimming pool is heavenly and very well maintained. The views from every room offer a glimpse of the jungle and its creatures; we saw MANY! Bring binoculars; we used ours constantly! The bird-watching is amazing! We saw Elegant Trogons, Chachalacas, a Colima Pygmy Owl, Golden Cheeked woodpeckers, Yellow-Winged Caciques, Magpie Jays, Tanagers, Orioles, several parrots and many more that we didn't identify. Defenders.org has a great PDF "Birds of the Riviera Nayarit" that we referred to often. The many iguanas were fun to watch too! Carmina is a wonderful house keeper, but her true talent is in the food she will make on request; she even gave me a lesson when I asked, in how to make authentic ceviche and a couple of salsas - I told her she needs to offer classes - she is worth her weight in gold; tip her well. Chemo takes great care of the garden and grounds - it is a veritable paradise. Nanzal Hill is better known to us as "Buzz Kill Hill." It is short, but the steepness combined with 86 degree weather and 90% humidity makes it quite a hike back up! But it is part of the adventure.. and your reward for climbing it is that glorious, refreshing swimming pool (and whatever you put in one of the several blenders!) We tried the golf cart rental, but it truly is a short distance, and so decided the expense not worth it. Did I mention the view? You'll not get this jungle experience staying in town. Casa Angel is Romantic, private, beautiful and natural. You would do well to choose this home. Thank you so much to the owners for sharing their piece of paradise with us! We loved it and hope to return."

  • Excellent Customer Service

"OK, full disclosure up front! We visited Villa La Estancia in March 2016 but Melba and Tom's unit was not available so Melba arranged a very similar unit for us on the fifth floor. A bit of background on unit numbers at this resort. Rooms all have a four digit number, then an A or a B. The first digit represents the building number (1,2,3), the second the floor number and the last two the actual unit number. In general, for buildings 1 and 3 which are the ones that run perpendicular to the ocean along the sides of the resort, the lower the unit number, the closer to the ocean. There are a few maps on Google images that show the layout and this is important. Building 1 gets the afternoon and evening sun and view of the sunset. Building 3 gets the morning sun. Units closer to the beach are generally better, particularly for view and sun. So the ideal units are generally 1-5 in buildings 1 and 3 and maybe the units on the higher floors in building 2. Most units (except penthouses) are either 2+1 or 1+1. A 2+1 has two bedrooms in the main unit, then another bedroom immediately beside it. There is a gate common to both the A and B units but it is not secure enough to leave the doors between them open if you are not around. Both the A and B units have a hotel style card lock door that you need to keep closed at night for security. If you have kids and want them in a separate bedroom, getting one of the 'real' 2 bedroom units is important. The 1+1 would likely not make most parents comfortable! If your kids are older, then no problem. You also share the balcony so can go between rooms that way. Our unit was a 2+1 and we had our two older kids (18,23) so we used all three bedrooms. The units are well appointed. We opted not to go for the all inclusive meal plan as it was fairly expensive. There are so many restaurants to visit in the area that it would be a shame to spend all of your time just at the resort. We went to the Mega store (15 minute walk, cheap taxi back) for groceries on day 1 to stock up and did most breakfasts in our unit, then either ate lunch at the resort, at Flamingos next door (part of the same chain so you have full access) or in Bucerias (15-20 min walk or $8US cab). There are four bathrooms and four showers in a 2+1 so plenty of space. Beds are comfortable, water is safe. Out of space so look for our review in Trip Advisor under Oakvillites"

  • Loved it so much we had to book for next year

"The photos do not describe how beautiful the condo , beach, people, restaurants and all other surroundings are. The condo was absolutely immaculate with a personal touch of Lorraine's beautiful painting. The furniture, bedding and kitchen are all like brand new. Nuevo is safe, friendly, convenient and the beach is increadable."

  • Amazing home and the perfect place for a getaway!

"We just returned from our second stay at Villa Sirena with a group of couples. And, it is just as beautiful and amazing as we had remembered. The house is the ideal set-up for friends to be together but also have some space and privacy. The amenities are beyond wonderful and so is the service -- from booking the trip to the help and hospitality of the on-site staff members -- SUPERB! I really cannot say enough about this incredible villa and our unforgettable experience here, except that we are sad it is over but will cherish the memories we made... and, of course, very much look forward to our return."
