  • Beautiful property. Like a 4-5 star resort.

"Porto Fino is more like a resort than a condo complex. Pool is huge and well maintained. We found the water to be too warm a lot of the time though. The unit itself was well-maintained also. Lots of pots, frying pans, dishes. Everything we needed was supplied. There was even a cupboard with some extras we weren't coffee for a couple days, salt&pepper, a few spices. We thought we'd havd to buy everything (or do without) Couple things we weren't impressed with. The pillows were disgustingly dirty (should have bought new ones for ourselves). The water in the shower takes a long time to heat up. The safe in the closet was locked and not available for our use. (Should have asked property management about it). Overall though, we loved our 1-bedroom. We heard others talking about their rented one, the dishwasher didn't work, fridge almost didn't either. We had wonderful appliances. And it was so nice having our own washer/dryer (new and clean). Just get some new pillows!"

  • Great Spring Break getaway!

"We had a great trip! The Marival Residences was absolutely fantastic! Very family-friendly. The room was gorgeous and the staff and service were phenomenal. Greatly satisfied with our interactions with George. Everything was as promised and my expectations were met, if not exceeded."

  • Had everything we needed for a lovely week in Punta Mita

"The service we were provided was great. The house is very comfortable, but if two families are traveling together (as we were) it would be ideal if there we really two master bedrooms, with king beds. Regardless, all the rooms had nice bathrooms, two with outdoor and indoor bathrooms."

  • Amazing views at top-class resort

"If I tell everyone how great this place is, it may not be available when we want to go back, and we will certainly want to go back. To start with, the location is the best. It is in Playa Royale, so right on the best beach in Mexico, with beach access from the complex to a super well maintained beach resort which you have complete access to. Playa Royale is within Paradise Village, so you get all the facilities of the "village". This is not downtown PV, but there are still many good restaurants nearby, and the village market store in the mall is quite decent. You are only a short (cheap) cab ride away from large grocery stores on the "highway". The actual unit itself is top-notch. The huge balcony has great beach views, and is on the shady side of the complex, so you don't get sun blaring in all day long. Yet you still get sunset views as the sun comes in late in the day. This unit is one of the best equipped we have ever rented, with everything you could think of, including things like oven mitts (and too many other things to mention). It is very large and the guest room is also large, with its own bathroom. The complex staff are constantly visible, working on cleaning the exterior hallways, the elevators, the pools, the grounds, etc. They are all very friendly and helpful. The gate security is good, but they don't hassle you - just show your key and you can walk through. Paul was very easy to work with and made accommodations to suit our arrival and departure times. To wrap up, I can't say enough about the beach. The sand is ideal, with no drop off, and is sandy as far as you can walk. The waves are fun, and easily manageable most days. I was really surprised how uncrowded the beach palapas were this visit. We had been to the same beach club last winter and sometimes has trouble getting a spot. This time, you could come at any time of day and get a front row spot. We walked the entire beach as far as La Cruz (over 4 hours 1 way), and I can honestly say that it is best right in front of Playa Royale. It is worth it just to come here for the beach. Think of Nuevo as the suburbs - everything is clean and new and spread out, but very pleasant. You don't have all the culture and restaurants like in town, but you are not far away, and the bus system and collectivos and cheap taxis make it relatively easy to get around. The only minor problem we had was that the internet access was very inconsistent."
