  • A Great B & B in a beautiful location with hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home.

"This was our first experience with VRBO and a B&B. The pictures first caught my attention and the reviews were all positive and absolutely true. Debbie and Dan made us feel right at home from the minute they picked us up from the airport to the minute we said our good-byes. They have a beautiful home located in the marina, an area that we'd never explored before. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with our own private bathroom. Breakfast was always home-cooked and delicious. Debbie and Dan had planned on visiting with their friends in nearby Sayulita one morning and gave us the option of joining them or going out on our own. Of course we joined them! - travelling is all about seeing new places and meeting new people. Although it took a bit of convincing to get me to go kayaking through the marina because there are crocodiles in it (we never saw any), it was one of the highlights of the trip, something I wish I had done each day instead of just on the last one. The marina area has a bunch of restaurants and shops to explore and is just a couple minutes from their front door. The pool area was quiet and clean - a great place to catch some sun. The rest of our time was spent walking to, or more often catching the bus to the Malecon and old PV to have lunch and supper. Debbie and Dan's B&B at Villa Iguana is a great place to stay and we hope to get there again some day."

  • the most amazing view and location one could want

"we have stayed at vrbo's in puerto and nuevo but never been as far as punta de mita so with site unseen we were a bit nervous especially considering the owner was extremely uncommunicative during the whole process after booking. any questions took weeks if not months to get answered so one was never sure about this place. but from the moment we arrived to a month later on departure our family of 5 kept pinching themselves over our newfound piece of paradise. i have never experienced being this close to the ocean where you may have to close the doors at night cuz the waves crashing are just too darn loud!! the condo itself was well managed and with only 2 units per floor and 6 floors total and not all units occupied it was very peaceful. and the other owners and/or renters there were very respectful of each other. the pool was immaculately kept and the beach started out totally of sand. however as the days progressed, more sand eroded and the rocks beneath became more exposed. oh well nothing is perfecto. esra's condo is stocked only adequately, the beds are all topnotch in comfort and the showers all walk-in and spacious. however there are no curtains nor a closet in the master bedroom which is an oversight. the washer and dryer are very good. we did not require the a/c which is incuded in the rent, a bonus that others charge for. surely a place of this calibre would have a propane bbq, however only a charcoal exists. the terrace is the ultimate highlight. it is both long and wide affording views of sunrise AND sunset. a person could spend all their time on this 4th floor balcony. if you dont mind being an hour away from the airport and enjoy peace and tranquility rather than crowds then this place is for you. the rate we secured from esra was substantially less than what other owners in punta vista 1 command. we would return, however with space limited to 6 guests this is insufficient for our needs for at least next year. thanks, esra. we have nothing but fond memories of our stay at your condo. oh and we rented a car on 5 different occasions during our month. we strongly recommend the national car rental place in town. i have heard horror stories over shady tactics mexican agencies use. i experienced none of that with national or avis which is a few miles before town. national was more handy and cheaper but avis was equally legit. we used a car at $40/day to go to the airport and combine with a Mega grocery run-much cheaper than a cab or shuttle."

  • Extremely Comfortable!

"We loved staying here, it was perfect. We stayed with our two children, they slept on a comfy couch or the air mattresses provided. Bed was SO comfy oh my! So clean, and smelled really nice upon entry. Felt like home. Lovely people all around the condos, pool was divine. Worth every penny and the neighbourhood is so great for food and shops. A really nice grocery store that carried a lot of organic and import things from home - Canada/US. The staff is so wonderful and helpful. Lovely view of the sun rise and the ocean from the little balcony patio. Excellent kitchen facility and washer and dryer. Nice shower with great water pressure and lovely bathroom. All around highly recommend this for a home away from home feel and stay!"
