  • Great time over spring break!

"I've lost count of how many times we've been to Rocky Point, but this was our first time staying at Las Palomas. We wanted somewhere with a heated pool, and we were pretty interested in the lazy river and waterslide after seeing them last year when we were hanging out at Las Palomas after the Rocky Point triathlon. This condo ended up being fantastic! Plenty of room for our family of four, easy access to the parking lot, and the patio was AMAZING (although there were a lot of people that would simply cut across all the patios instead of walking along the sidewalk below to get to the restaurant and lobby...this may have just been college spring breakers). Having a private grill was great, too. Being so close to the pool, it was easy to run back up to the room and grill some lunch for our kids, and we grilled dinner out there every night. The check-in process was a little slow, but there were a couple large spring break groups checking in at the same time. The only other negative was that the bedroom is just about right across from the elevator, so it could be a little noisy with people coming back late at night (again, that may have been due to spring break). Other than those things, we really loved staying at this resort and especially this condo. We will definitely stay here again. In fact, I contacted the owner to see about extending our stay an extra night, but it was unfortunately booked already."

  • Beautiful View

"Had a great time. The condo is located in the closest building to the water and the 12th floor view is amazing of everything including the old port. The amenities at Las Palomas are the best in Rocky Point. Would definitely go back again."

  • Beautiful, comfortable and affordable

"We stayed at Terry's place for Spring Break 2016 with our 3 kids (6 yo twin girls and a 13 yo son). This place was perfect for us in a lot of ways. My husband and I had the master bedroom that has direct access to the balcony - gorgeous. Our son had the other bedroom with the attached bathroom (which really could be another master bedroom) and our twin girls slept on the bunkbeds. My nephew nicknamed it the Harry Potter bedroom, the kids loved it! The kitchen is STOCKED with everything you need to make your own meals - coffee pot, toaster, crockpot, skillet, stove, oven, every utensil...EVERYTHING. We came from CO and brought some food from home as well as bought some more in Phoenix and Puerto Penasco. It was recommended to us to buy beef in the US and the rest in Mexico, so that's what we did. Just plan to bring your own seasonings and spices. I even got a box brownie mix at the Super Ley and one night we had brownies with ice cream (also from the grocery store in town). It was YUMMY! The furniture in the condo is well chosen and very comfortable. The laundry room was an added bonus, I was able to pack less and just do laundry - so easy. And the balcony - it has a hammock, umbrella and patio furniture as well as plenty more space. In the morning we had a cup of coffee on the balcony and in the evening we enjoyed the amazing sunsets. The owners really have put a lot of thought in making their condo feel warm and welcoming. The decor is lovely and the added touches really made a difference. They provide DVD's, books, board games, beach toys, wifi, a stocked kitchen, extra linens, blow dryers, laundry soap, a drying rack for your beach towels and swim suits. Housekeeping came by everyday and took care of cleaning up and restocking essentials. My sister and her family stayed in another condo in the same building and we noticed that this condo was much better stocked up and felt cozier. We already decided that we would stay here again, without hesitation. A few things about the resort in general - the pools are amazing, great for all ages. The food at the bar was good (both American fare and Mexican food). The staff at the resort were very friendly and accommodating. The pace is slower, but that's what we expected and wanted on our vacation. We went for rides on the banana boat, shopped from the vendors on the beach and went on a fishing excursion that brought in a huge haul of fish. Overall, the vacation was very relaxing and stress free. Thank you so much!"
