  • Loved our stay!

"This condo is spacious and well outfitted. The view was beautiful and it is close to restaurants and shops. The beds and pillows are comfortable as are the hammocks on the front deck. It is nicely decorated and well laid out. The beach is nice and snorkeling was great in Half Moon Bay, Akumal and Yal ku. We would definitely keep this place in mind if our travels bring us back to this area."

  • Home with great outdoor space and beautiful views

"We had a great stay at Casa Iguana! The villa consists of 2 separate houses and a GREAT outdoor space, including outdoor dining area, pool and covered sitting area with hammocks and beautiful ocean views. Our group included 6 adults and 6 kids, aged 2-9. It was perfect for our group as there were enough beds to sleep 12 and plenty of room outside for the kids to play within the villa. The pool was awesome and the property is right on the ocean with beautiful views. The service was excellent, as the house was cleaned daily and we even had dinners cooked for us! I would highly recommend Casa Iguana!"

  • Secluded jungle villa between cenotes and lagoon.....amazing!

"Just returned from this property...... amazing experience......open, palacios, rustic, yet all modern accomodations. Huge bifold doors give you access direct from living space to thatch coverd patio and on pool....all glass perimeter and interiors....ceiling to floor. Even walking to your room is like going through the jungle.....jungle, plants, flowers on all sides and roof access to the sky and stars via spiral s-case. Can't describe feeling sea breeze and hearing crashing waves while lounging at pool. Day or night (lighted) walking winding path around centoes. Made it down to lagoon regularly.... either to drink coffee in a.m., or snorkle, or watch stars at night....I did it all. Lagoon is a must see/do and I've never been at a property like it except on an island in a remote MN lake. Rosenberg and Maria (cartakers) were such a nice couple......Maria cooked some mean breakfast....available if we needed them. We only had a few folks on this trip, but the place can handle a large group. Perfect homebase to venture out from.....easy drive to Akimal...... and lots to do both ways up and down Hwy 307. Can't wait to go back."

  • Very clean, great location, service was super

"This is a great little bungalow, it had the right amount of the basics and anything it didn't have was at the corner store steps away."
