  • Fabulous

"Casa Milagro has everything we could possibly ask for. The house and property are immaculate and the architecture and décor are simply outstanding. We enjoyed every minute of our stay - the peace, relaxation and fun . We had breakfast every morning on the rooftop patio and spend every evening on the cabana sharing our favourite moments of the day. We were there with our daughter, husband and their 2 boys and everyone enjoyed everything Casa Milagro, Playacar and Playa Del Carmen had to offer. The nearby snorkeling and visit to the ruins were a hit as well. The beach is a couple of minutes away and absolutely amazing. It goes on forever! We are all animal lovers and it was exciting to have the cats visiting and the agouti around all day long. We have already recommended Casa Milagro to several people. We just cannot say enough about this place, the owner, house and groundskeepers, taxi drivers and of course Chef Lynn - do not miss this experience!!"

  • Amazing Stay

"We had a large group of around 30 people (kids and adults), and we were blown away by this place. It is in a private neighborhood and within walking distance of the beach. The house had everything that we could ask for and then some. The property manager here will definitely take care of you and will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need for a peaceful vacation."

  • Family Vacation

"My family stayed here (2 adults and 4 kids ages 9,6,4 and 2) and we had a great relaxing week. The house is exactly as described and really quite spacious. The rental rate is only slightly higher than the neighboring property with 13 units, but you get so much more at casa cielo (more space, private pool etc). A previous reviewer said the water pressure was low, but I didn't feel that it was inadequate at all. The onsite caretaker Lucio was readily available and very friendly. The house is on a property that is shared with another house. Casa Cielo is set back on the property, but from the pool and outdoor sitting area you can still see the ocean. As well it is protected from the ocean winds, which were gusting quite a bit when we were there. The beach was good for the kids. There is a rock wall which holds the sandy area from washing away, and there is an easy entry area for when you want to go in the water. There were small waves while we were there, while the rest of the area was experiencing red flag days. We snorkeled in a few areas but found the snorkeling to be the best right at casa cielo. There is a gentle slope in the underwater terrain, and minimal current. The house is just outside the town of san miguel which makes for quick drives into the city for dinner. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that serve standard mexican fare (tacos, quesadillas etc) and "american standards (burgers, fries etc). Although the owner recommended renting a vehicle, I would suggest that if you are a big family, you should avoid renting a van. In the end we payed double the Expedia rate in canadian for the week. That is the most I have ever paid for a rental. We would not have paid nearly that much in taxis. The island is set up for the cruise ships so a lot of places close at 5pm. In comparison to other places I have traveled in mexico (playa del carmen, akumal, puerto vallarta), I found cozumel to be on the more expensive side."

  • Perfect spot in Playa!

"Can't even believe how much we lucked out finding this place for our first Playa del Carmen experience! We are not the type of people to go for the big resorts. Why go to a foreign country only to spent time around other travelers? Everything about our stay was perfect! The condo is clean and modern, with a partial ocean view from the living room and balcony. The location is as good as it gets- right between a fantastic section of beach and La Quinta. Even though it is so close to the action, the street is quiet and very safe, and there is very little traffic. Some great restaurants nearby. Do not miss La Cueva del Chango! Seriously, this place is even better than the pictures suggest. The rooftop infinity pool is to die for! We spent hours and hours up there, sometimes having the whole area to ourselves. We also met some great folks up there. There is a swim-up DIY bar up there, which is perfect. You dont have to rely on overpriced drinks like you would find at swim-up bar at a big resort. From up there, your view of the ocean is amazing! Only one property between Pueblito Escondido and the beach, and it is all thatched roof cabanas, so it feels very tropical and romantic. Jose was very hospitable, and was there on time to check us in and get us acquainted. We loved it so much we are already planning to return next year, though we usually make it a rule never to visit the same place twice. Seriously, this is the good life!"
