  • Good times in Cancun

"Took our grandchildren down to Cancun for the first time - exceeded all expectations. We got great weather, rented a car to sight see, the owner gave us some great recommendations and just had the time of our lives. We really liked the condo and everything was very comfortable."

  • CONDO WAS AMAZING!

"The pictures of the condo are EXACTLY what the place and view look like. My family (husband, son 22 and daughter 20) were just as happy with condo as I was. LOTS of space, beds were super comfortable, views spectacular!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for quieter place to stay with easy transportation available to the downtown and busier restaurants/bars."

  • Beautiful luxury condo right on a beach

"Working within our budget, we searched for a place that could accommodate 12 for a three-generation family vacation, with ages ranging from six to sixty. La Page, a four-story condo in Cancun’s Zona Hotelera, seemed to fit our requirements well. We were all pleasantly surprised. The experience was like staying in our own luxury, vacation home with a private pool and direct access to a warm-water beach. We were also happy that we could easily rent sea kayaks and jet skis and get parasail rides at the nearby Hotel Riu Caribe. A few suggestions for future visitors to La Plage: 1. Pez Volador--the small, C-shaped access road on which La Plage is located--is gated on the west side and walled off on the east side (next to the Rui Caribe Hotel on Blvd. Kukulkan). Not all taxi drivers find Pez Volador easily. We brought a screen shot of a satellite view of La Plage, which helped the taxi driver who drove us from the airport. 2. The nearest restaurants and a small grocery store are about a 30-minute walk west on Blvd. Kukulkan. 3. The big, impressive Selecto SuperChedraui Supermarket (or Chedraui Selecto) and several restaurants are about a 10-minute bus/taxi ride to the east on Blvd. Kukulkan. 4. Natalia, our contact with Privileged Vacations Rental Residences, can answer most questions about places to go in Cancun and on the Yucatan Peninsula. We used WhatsApp on our iPhones to text with Natalia. 5. Maria, who does the cleaning with her family, also will provide dinners and breakfasts. Accommodating our diverse dietary requirements/preferences, they bought and brought the food, prepared fabulous dinners and cleaned up immaculately. Perfect! 6. The La Plage rental is one of four attached, similarly well-maintained condos. The other three are occupied by their owners, who are friendly, but also appreciate their privacy. Therefore, renters are asked to be respectful. The majority of the property is in excellent condition with a few minor exceptions. Some furniture is showing wear; some linens have stains; the washer and dryer work, but perhaps should be upgraded; and a few other minor items could be fixed or replaced. (My pet peeve: all the kitchen knives need to be sharpened!) Addressing these issues would make the experience at La Plage even better for renters. All things considered, La Plage was a GREAT place for our family vacation and everyone in our party was exceedingly happy with the time we spent there."

  • Great stay for a family of 6

"We stayed at this rental Jan 15-20, 2017. We were impressed by the property grounds and private pool - clean and nicely kept with a great shallow area in the pool for our 4 & 6 yr olds. The house is quiet and private. The kitchen could use some organization and a deep clean, but the house was overall tidy and clean. The beds in both bedrooms were comfy with nice linens. The AC/fans worked excellent. The owners were friendly and helpful and responded to enquires quickly. Jorge was great and addressed requests in a timely manner; he was quick to offer recommendations or help out. This property is located within walking distance to a couple restaurants and grocery stores. Some additional bathroom and kitchen linens would be a huge plus as we ended up buying a couple of our own (facecloths and dish washing/drying cloths as only 1 of each was provided). A coffee pot was not available in the unit, but Jorge quickly brought one over when mentioned this to him. The kitchen was not equipped with hot water - we found this an inconvenience for doing dishes, however, filled a pot in the bathroom and brought it down. Do ask for instruction on how to use the master bathroom shower to get hot water if you can't figure it out. The kitchen sink also does not have a stopper/plug and the upstairs main bathroom, the plug will not stay down - luckily my husband found a drain cover we were able to use for both. Overall, a great stay. Just a couple small improvements would make this property a lot more accomodating! We would return and recommend this property to our friends and family."
