  • PERFECT but shhhh we don't want too many people to know!!!

"My husband and I stayed at Casa Sonrisa for 9 nights & it was everything you could hope for & more. Spacious, safe, clean and the amazing ocean view right from your bed. Enjoyed everything about the Casa & there is not one thing I would have changed. The only reason why I wouldn't want to write a review so it does sell out so quickly, a place like this is a "gem". One little suggestion I thought would be helpful is if the Casa came with a little cooler you could use to bring your cold drinks to the beach. If that was my only problem to this property, then you know how fantastic everything else was. I would go back here the rest of my life if I could & more importantly I hope to return next year. Thanks for the amazing Casita, the owners deserve a big round of applause for their hard work on giving us such a perfect place to stay."

  • Beautiful, comfortable condo, ideal for family with young children

"Our family is wrapping up a fabulous week on Half Moon Bay. This unit is tastefully decorated and has every amenity we could have wanted. We especially appreciated the children's sized life jackets, pool noodles and boogie boards, perfect for our kids to play in the water and use snorkeling. There were also several pairs of adult fins which was great as I didn't bring my own pair (husband did). The beds were quite possibly the best part. They are firm mattresses but feel like clouds thanks to the memory foam topper. Even our kids said it was the best they'd slept in a long time. The kitchen is small but well-stocked with good quality cooking items so we were able to cook quite a few of our own meals. We also enjoyed several meals at Buena Vida up the beach, where they have an even larger swimming pool than Lol Kanaab, a fun alternative for our kids when the bay got too rough and the condo pool lost its luster (a very nice pool but small). We all loved snorkeling in Half Moon Bay our first day, when visibility was perfect and the water was glassy calm, but the winds picked up after that and it was too rough. We snorkeled instead at Yal-ku up the road and another day in Akumal Bay, which was also rough but clear enough to see quite a few sea turtles. Sandra was always very responsive with our questions and provides a nice folder of local information in the condo, which was very useful. We hope to return to enjoy this gorgeous, tranquil spot again soon."

  • Casa La Bella is truly beautiful and relaxing....Isla Mujeres.........Perfect Spot!

"We just returned from what was as good a family vacation as one could ever wish for. Casa La Bella's owners need to know how much we appreciate the detail that was put into this house. The patio and pool were the favorite spot. We often had a difficult time deciding whether to stay at the house or go to Play Norte. We did both, so all was good. The weather was next to perfect as well. I think I counted 20 drops of rain on the patio one afternoon and that was it. As always, Isla provides many choices for local cuisine of all varieties. This year the USD averaged 15-16 pesos in exchange at most restaurants, so the dollar went further here than in the US. We will certainly work on getting back here again. I recommend Casa La Bella and Isla Mujeres as a destination for any occasion. Once you enter the door you start to relax as the views hit you from all angles. I will end this as I close my eyes and imagine entering Casa La Bella again!"
