  • great vacation, needs a little TLC

"Had a great eleven day vacation. Staff was helpful after a slow start. Victor stood right next to us at the airport but because he didn't have a sign and we had never seen each other before we didn't make a connection till I called him from the parking lot. My suggestion would be to simply make a "Casa Orleans" sign and avoid the confusion. After that, everything went well. Cleaning lady and pool man were great. House is well furnished. Few things could be improved; Four nice TVs, but three have to be on the same channel, gas grill outside doesn't work (have to use charcoal) hard to get good results, hot water somewhat limited but four of us worked out a system that worked for us. All in all these were small inconveniences and were more than made up for in a very comfortable and enjoyable vacation. Diving arrangements were very easy to make to be picked up at a dock on the beach. The location is great, just far enough from the cruise docks and town to be out of the melee but close enough to get to some great dining options after the cruisers get back on the boat and town returns to normal. Will definitely be back."

  • Unforgettable Home Sweet Home Away from Home!

"Casa La Roca in Puerto Aventuras is an absolute dream. Our family of eight decided it had been far too long since we had gotten away from the day-to-day together, so we began to plan our trip. We came across both Casa La Roca and Casa Mariposa and originally intended to book Casa Mariposa, but it happened to be booked for the timeframe we were looking to come...and are we ever so glad that it was because Casa La Roca was over-the-top in the most "is-this-real-life" ways. From the moment you arrive, service is over the top. Edwardo and a few other gentleman greeted us and immediately started helping us carry in our luggage and groceries - they even started putting all the groceries away! It only took one step into the house for my Mom's eyes to fill with tears; if that doesn't tell you how breathtaking this home and location are, I don't know what would. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the floor-to-ceiling windows at the center of the home that show off expansive views of the Caribbean Sea and the private infinity pool. Each of the bedrooms have beautiful en suite bathrooms, stunning ocean views and lovely privacy. We woke up to the sunrise peeking through our curtains each morning...you won't want to miss the sunrises - the house is in the most prime location for them and there is something about watching the sunrise here that makes time stand still. Daisy cooked breakfast for us each weekday morning we were there and every meal was unique, fresh and delicious. Daisy is an absolute pleasure - we wanted to take her home with us! ;) We also had Daisy and her Sister cook us a homemade, authentic meal for dinner one night and I highly recommend this experience. The gentlemen who showed up every morning to clean and refill the pool were always pleasant and not at all intrusive. We were able to kayak and snorkel right off the rocks behind the house and spent the majority of our time at home as ALL of us wanted to squeeze as much time out of this beautiful refuge for our souls as we could. Any inquiry we had was answered promptly by Edwardo or Melodie - they are both superb to work with! Melodie was extremely responsive through our whole planning / booking process and I highly recommend booking through her. We used the sound system inside and outside every day - reggae jams filled our days by the pool and our evenings cooking dinners together in the kitchen. Casa La Roca was a dream getaway for us...we can't wait for next time! Our deepest love & graditude"

  • Very nice condo at reasonable price in Puerto Morelos

"We spent a week in this spacious condo. Is is a very comfortable accommodation with good beds, nice furniture and a well equipped kitchen. It is bright , airy ( though there is good AC as well) and spacious. There are some obstructed views of the sea which is conveniently located a block away. The walk to town, restaurants and small shops is 10-15 minutes. There are many nice, relatively inexpensive places for food and drinks. The local ceviche is particularly wonderful. The aspects of this property we did not like is that the pool and grounds are quite small and closed in by several buildings. When it is very windy at the beach , we like a pool setting. Also the terraces are very small and cannot accommodate a table for meals. Since we were on the 3rd floor, we had to have all our meals inside. While in PM, we would also recommend a trip to the jungle spa and a snorkeling excursion. You do not need a car but if you want to explore, daily rentals are available in PM for $40-$50/day"

  • Great Escape Away from all the Noise

"My wife and I spent a week here and really enjoyed the condo. It was well equipped and clean. It was close enough to the beach to drive down in 5 minutes and enjoy the day down there and far enough away from all the noise. We found walking around the condo was nice as it was more of the real Mexico not just tourist trap Mexico. Pool was great to jump into after a day out. I would recommend this place to families that want to have a good get away and are going to rent a car and do their own tours. We will be back!!"
