  • Great place, great location!

"Thanks to Ron for helping making a long weekend in Cancun terrific. The property was clean and well setup, the staff was wonderful. No problems getting anything we needed no matter the time of day. With the on-site 24hr security safety was not an issue. We appreciated Ron quickly answering all our questions. You could not ask for a better location or view. We're hoping to return to soon. Thanks, Dan and Terri"

  • Great vacation for all types of vacationers

"I stay at the Royal Caribbean Resorts three times and all were a great vacation. I went once with a total of 6 girls and the villa was spacious for all of us. Another visit was with my family for my husbands 50th birthday and the last visit was during Thanksgiving week with two couples. The resort was perfect for all occasions. The restaurants on site are very reasonably priced and convenient. Pool bars have happy hours with great drink prices. No need to pay extra for "all inclusive" resorts when this resort has better dining and bars with great savings! Activities are daily by the pool and the resort is maintained beautifully. I recommend this resort for your vacation."

  • Pretty good overall, but needs more work.

"Well, I was a little nervous when we arrived in Mexico as the contact person we were given the name of wasn't answering his phone and his messaging was full. I emailed the owner and she said she'd contact one of her managers. Turns out that guy was on vacation. I guess it would have been nice to know that someone, anyone, was planning to meet us at the front when we arrived and that security would call for us. (Security was great, btw.) The front/entrance of the property was under construction when we arrived and it didn't make a good first impression. The lobby, restaurant, and pool area looked nice and newly refurbished but the entrance area and the stairwell was reminiscent of that backstreet cock fight you often see in the movies - very dirty and unkempt and in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. I will say the front entrance area improved vastly in the 5 days we were there. We think they were preparing for the locals who vacation when school lets out in July. We quickly got over it and the property was actually pretty charming with a discerning eye. Getting past the first impression, we were escorted to PH 12. We walked in and the place was adequately furnished although, for the price, I considered the décor and the provisions very base. (I later looked on Hotels.com at the Ocean Dream Hotel rooms and they appeared much nicer, more furnished, and a whole lot more inexpensive than our unit.) The a/c units worked great. The beds were comfortable. The cable/TV's worked well after figuring out the remote control systems. This particular unit had the 3rd bedroom with it's own, outside front entrance directly across the hall from the main front door. At first this was a little odd and unexpected but it turned out in our favor as we had teens occupy the main unit and my wife and I had the separate bedroom to ourselves with much more seclusion and privacy. You should have seen my 15 year old son's reaction when he found out he was getting the mbr! Two teen girls shared the other, upstairs bedroom and everyone was happy. As promised, there was a market, many restaurants and clubs, and the most awesome grocery store within walking distance from the condo. And the bus stop was very close as well so we could hop on to go most anywhere. The Isla Mujeres ferry was just a short walk up the road as well but keep in mind the last ferry at that location leaves out at 200pm daily. Later ferries leave out about 2 miles up the road. Location was fabulous!"

  • Great condo with central location in the hotel zone.

"My husband and I booked this condo in the hotel zone of Cancun to visit our daughter and her in-laws over the holidays. The property was clean and well maintained. We loved that you could sit on the patio and watch the waves roll in. The condo is a short walk to a mall that has a decent sized market in it to pick up supplies if you want to cook. Loved having a washer and dryer for our swimming suits and towels. It is conviently located to a bus stop allowing you to catch a bus to other locations along the hotel zone. There are two pool areas that look very nice. We didn't use them since we were going to visit at another condo with our daughter and her family. I would definitely book this property again if I was traveling to Cancun with friends. Gale the owner was very responsive to any questions I had before we arrived and checked in with us on our return to see how things went. Very much appreciated. The only con I would say was there was very little supplies such as paper towels or olive oil. If you are going to cook plan to buy everything needed or bring some with you. We have stayed in other VRBO's where some of the basic things you would need to cook with were available. Not sure what the case is at other rentals so maybe my expectations were wrong. Renting another one at a different location in March and I'll get a better idea of what to expect. I would stay here again and next time hope to enjoy more of the property amenities."
