  • Awesome Condo

"We had an awesome time at Camille's. The area of town is so nice just a quick taxi ride there. There was always plenty of taxi's around to get back into town, sometimes they were right there at the complex and other times you have to walk to the Melia about a five minute walk to get one. It's about $5.00 each way for the taxi. The condo itself was so beautiful and nice. It is way roomier than expected and it basically has two master bedrooms beside the fact that one is a king room and one is a queen room. It was perfect for us since we had two couples. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching netflix at night. During the day we opened all the balcony doors and had a great cross breeze. The beach is a probably a 3 minute walk at most and on the way you can say hi to Henry, a huge iguana living in the sidewalk. The private beach is beautiful and quiet, there are no chairs to sit on but we didn't mind as we were in the ocean most of the time. One day we walked down to Playa Azul, no cover charge and affordable food and drinks and they have chairs to lounge in. The pool is freezing as it does not get sun but the ocean is steps away so why be in the pool. We utilized the rooftop grill one night and watched the sunset. Camille was great to work with and always responded so fast when we had questions. The condo complex is very safe and secure and everyone we met is so nice. We all agreed it was priced just right and we were very happy."

  • Casa Perfecto!

"We are divers and we have been to Cozumel many times but this was our first time to stay at Casa Carlita. From the initial inquiry and timely response to make our reservations to the final hours of our stay, everything was perfecto! Fred met us at the airport and showed us the way to Casa Carlita, waiting patiently at Alamo rental car while we picked up our car. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. The beds were very comfy, the rooms were very quiet for sleeping, and individual air conditioning units in each bedroom allowed for various settings by each guest. The showers provided plenty of hot water and the water volume was good. We fixed several meals in the casa and found everything we needed including the blender for protein shakes. There is an outdoor charcoal grill in the patio area and we made chicken, fish and lobster that was delicious. :-) The pool was a nice addition just for an occasional cool off and they have several floating mattress if you want to just hand. There were two mountain bikes for guest use but we had a car so we didn't use them. Towels were nice and fluffy and thirsty. The maid service was awesome, I wish I could take them home to my house. The keep the Casa really nice and clean when you have 3 guys to look after and guests coming over to visit after diving. At other condos and homes we've rented, maid service hasn't been included. This was an awesome perk for me! Not to have to worry about cleaning up after 3 guys! The location was great, close to the grocery stores and also at the south end of town so that when we headed to the marina to get our dive boat we didn't have to go through downtown traffic. They have two phones that you can use free of charge, one local and one to call the US. The local one really came in handy to get in touch with our friends that live in Cozumel and to call local restaurants, etc. The internet was good and reliable. The entry level to the pool and house is handicap accessible. We had a local friend visit us who is in a wheelchair and he was able to get around with a little help to get the chair over a small step. We met a few of the neighbors and they were really nice. I highly recommend this Casa! It was truly "Perfecto" for all of our needs and I think based on the reviews that you will love it too!"

  • Excellent layout and location.

"The property description and pictures are accurate. Grocery stores are across the street and easy access to restaurants, dive outfits pick you up at the dock on the property. I was a little concerned about street noise initially but the layout of the condo is such that you cannot hear any traffic at night. It is a beautiful condo and is decorated and stocked with all the right stuff. (some of the knives need to be sharpened) Being on the street level is a real plus here as street level condos have their own access directly to the pool/ocean from the balcony. This part of Cozumel has mostly rock along the shore but the dock has a ladder you can climb into/out of the water. The property has sandy areas with chairs/umbrellas but not an actual sand beach in case you require that. (the rocks make for very interesting snorkeling in 5-15 foot of water with lots of sea life) The owner was available and helpful and the property manager "Alex" spoke great english and was very helpful multiple times. He called to make sure we got settled in and made sure we knew how to contact him on his cell phone. The condo has two landlines, one phone is a U.S. based phone and the other is a Cozumel phone in case you are concerned about cellular billing problems. There is a lot of information for guests in a ring binder provided at the condo such as snorkel locations, restaurants, maps etc. The layout with 2 masters was great for our family of 4. My wife says this is her favorite condo out of the many we have rented over the years. If we return to Cozumel, we will definitely stay here again. If you rent here, take their advice on restaurants, we did and we were not disappointed. Le Chef, Kondessa, Blue Angel---all good."
