  • Well adorned and furnished, well maintained, comfortable condo

"We have stayed at other rentals at the same condo complex at Residential Reef. Residential Reef complex is located away from the Cozumel town center of San Miguel, so a vehicle is needed to get to the complex and to drive back to town for groceries. For us, this is an absolute advantage as it keeps us away from the noisy and busy hotel areas that are located closer to San Miguel. We always feel safe at the complex and the complex is fairly quiet. This one is among our 2 top favorites. Condo is well adorned and furnished with comfortable furniture (unlike other rentals that have cheaper furniture). This condo seems to have been upgraded compared to other units in the complex. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is clean and the shower has strong water pressure. TV has a better selection of cable channels compared to other rental units. WiFi for internet access works well and the uptime is great. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this condo. Same maid service from when we first stayed there 2 years ago and she does a great job of keeping the condo clean. When we first arrived, we had problems with two things = the TV wasn't working. I sent an email to the management and they purchased a new TV and replaced the bad one within 2 days! The other problem was with the AC not cooling very well in the master bedroom. The fix was simple as the remote for setting the temperature had weak batteries. Replacing the batteries and everything worked great! Highly recommend this condo."

  • My stay at Casa Catrina

"What a wonderful vacation. Only my second time to vacation at a non all inclusive and i don't think i will ever use an All inclusive again. The villa was everything (and More) that the pictures showed. Large rooms, very clean, great pool and ocean view. If piece and quiet is what your looking for at a 5 star rating, this place is it. I would totally recommend this property."

  • Almost perfect

"This property was very much as described; Right on the water with a beautiful view Clean and great condition Beach with access no problem no fighting for the chairs and great snorkelling However quite unfortunate at night that the property is next to a resort as you will hear the night performance from 8 to 11:00 and depending on the type of performance like live rock band or Japanese drums it can get pretty loud something that should be taken into consideration or be made aware of."

  • LOVE this private, relaxing oasis with everything you need!

"This was out first visit to Cozumel and the trip was a high school graduation gift for our daughter. She did not want to stay at a large resort and was sold on this condo when she saw the picture with the hammock on the porch. My ex-husband and I were traveling together for this occasion, so having plenty of space was important. It was the PERFECT spot for our family! The view from the living room and front bedroom was beautiful. It was so nice to have a semi-private beach just steps away, with an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. We only used the pool a few times, but it was refreshing and a nice added benefit. The condo is stocked with everything that you could possibly need and having a kitchen and washer/dryer were conveniences that we appreciated as opposed to staying in a hotel room. Our trip was focused around scuba diving and we ended up diving three days (6 dives) through Blue Angel Resort. They were very friendly and professional and I'd highly recommend them. We never explored the recommendation of Herman, but would assume that he might have provided better rates. The diving was AMAZING and I could have easily spent every day in the depths of the beautiful water, but my kids (two daughters) wanted to spend time doing other things. We spent one day at Chankanaab swimming with the dolphins which was another highlight of our trip. It's very touristy which is usually not our thing, but the cost and dealing with the cruise ship tourists was worth the experience. On another day we took the ferry to Playa del Carmen and then a taxi to Akumal Bay to snorkel with the sea turtles. My youngest daughter is obsessed with turtles and even though we had seen some while scuba diving, this was a much more up close and personal experience. It's definitely worth a drive to the other side of the island. (Yes, you should rent a car.) We spent one day lounging on the beach and playing in the waves at Chen Rio. This was another favorite for us! Our last day we went to Punta Sur. Unfortunately, we only saw the head of one crocodile and found the water at the beach to be much too warm. We climbed to the top of the lighthouse and it is a beautiful view. We ate at many of the restaurants that were recommended and our favorite was Kondesa. We also had a great meal at her sister restaurant, Kinta. You can't go wrong if you follow the recommendations that are provided and you will LOVE staying at this condo. We can't wait to go back!"
