  • Excellent family dive trip

"Our family of 4 adults stayed here on a recent dive trip to Cozumel. We enjoyed this house very much. The pictures on the website let us know exactly what to expect. It was relaxing, and comfortable like staying at someones weekend cottage. We found this rental an excellent value. The house is located in a regular neighborhood. The furnishings are comfortable with all the items that we needed. We enjoyed shopping and eating locally. It was nice to have our breakfast and one additional meal at the house. This allowed us to keep within our budget. One meal each day we dined out, alternating between restaurants that the locals patronize and the upscale restaurants for tourists. All were wonderful. Walking to shopping and restaurants was easy and safe. But we are all healthy, strong individuals and we were not out very late. We went diving 5 out of the 7 days on the island. Having the space in the house and on the porch was wonderful. We could spread out our equipment to dry and still have room to relax. We rented a small car to allow us the ability to visit other places on the island. This was a great and we enjoyed site seeing. We also drove to the dive boat each day. Parking the car was a challenge because of the typically narrow street and multiple vehicles parked in the area. The locals that we met were very friendly. We really enjoyed staying at this house. It made a dive trip for our family affordable and relaxing. We would certainly stay here again."

  • Perfect accommodations for perfect and relaxing vacation

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Turquesa. With three teenagers, we needed a place that was big enough to accommodate us all, and I wanted a place off the beaten path where I could cook and relax on a nearby beach. We found it all at Casa Turquesa. The property manager, Vanessa, met us on arrival and was very helpful, especially with restaurant and service recommendations. Her selections were perfect for our adventurous appetites. She was very helpful and responsive to any requests we had, but we didn't have a lot since the house was so exceptionally well stocked. I was able to indulge in shopping at the mercado and cooking traditional mexican foods (we used the outdoor grill on the kitchen balcony a lot!!) We loved the friendly neighbors and the relaxed and congenial vibe of the property. The beach was perfect for relaxing with very few people on the part closest to the property. Walked on the beach most mornings and the Condo Rooftop was perfect for sun salutations in the morning. We rented the car from ISIS at the recommendation of Diana and their service (and prices) were great. The property is just far enough away to recommend a car, while one of your neighbors didn't, and they seemed to be getting along fine! It had been over 20 years since my last trip to Cozumel, and a lot has changed, yet Casa Turquesa maintained the wonderful "old Cozumel" feelings. I hope it won't be another 20 years before we are back, and when we return, Casa Turquesa will be at the top of the list for a place to stay."

  • Live like a Local

"Cozy House was perfect for our stay. We cruised out of Miami and left the ship early to stay on Cozumel and then took the ferry over to Playa del Carmen for another week. Andrew was very accommodating when the ship changed the itinerary and we needed to stay a day early. Miguel is a gem. He was always available - even ordering us a pizza and having it delivered when they did not understand our location. His sister came and cooked for us one night which was a "bucket list" experience - she made us a dinner better than any other. We found that shopping at the MEGA store was just like a trip to COSTCO and reasonably priced, house even had reusable shopping bags to take with us. The downtown shopping area is a short - 10 to 15 min. walk and you will discover all of the neighbor eateries, bars, etc. The house has everything you could need. Plenty of towels, sheets, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, bug spray, and many items left by other guests. The neighborhood bar plays music and we loved it while sitting in the yard enjoying the pool. The house is very spacious giving everyone enough room to not get in each others way. Free wifi was a bonus. The house also has good movies for all ages, games, pool toys, bikes, and a good stereo. The couple we were with loved it so much they are interested in buying a property on the island for their vacation home. We hope you can and will experience life on Cozumel- staying at Cozy House was a pleasure for us."
