  • FABULOUS COZUMEL VILLA

"This was a family vacation consisting of 5 couples and 3 young men. The set up was perfect for everyone. Of particular note is the cook and her staff. They were always on time, friendly and the food was delicious. The meal plan is highly recommended by this group. The villa's floorplan is ideal for a multi-family retreat and the lower floor was perfect for the 3 young men, giving the couples privacy. The ensuite bedrooms are great. The outdoor entertaining deck and pool area, along with the private beach area were perfect, with the exception of the slippery tile floors on the patio and mid-floor area. We used the towels to make a safe transition from the pool deck to the covered patio and indoors. Having both outside and inside stairs to the upper level was also a plus. That way you didn't have spend much time on the slippery floor to get to your room. A few recommendations would be: place 3 bath towels in the bathrooms, add some hooks to the baths or bedrooms for suits and towels to dry. Some overhead fans on the outside patio would be a big plus. Warn guests that on days the cruise ships are in port, it gets very busy in front of the villa. Water temperatures in the baths were erratic. Overall, this villa far exceeded our expectations and worked perfectly for this group. We are actually considering booking it again in a few years."

  • Truly a great rental for the price.

"Great property to have for a cozy, relaxaling vacation for 2 people. Miguel was attentive but not bothersome. We opted for no maid service and enjoyed not having some one in the house everyday. The house needs a few minor repairs, everyday wear and tear. We will definitely use this property again. The bar 2 doors down was entertaining, horrible singer but the music stopped at 5 everyday......otherwise quiet neighborhood, close walking distance to town, 2 bicycles available to use."

  • The best efficiency – can’t wait to visit again!

"My Cozumel Condo had everything we needed. It was a most relaxing place to stay. We had a very lovely two weeks eating meals or having a drink on the deck looking at the ocean. The snorkeling right off the condo beach was excellent! Thank you for the snorkeling equipment. The DVD selection was great. We often watched a movie before going to bed. * Galley Kitchen: Check all the drawers, cupboards and in the oven to find all the kitchen supplies you will need. Do not leave spills on the counter top unless you want to see tiny ants appear and remove it all within hours. The sink is small, but manageable. We were careful to dry dishes before putting them away. Due to the high humidity they might not dry in the cupboards. * Murphy bed: The bed was easy to pull down and put away. It was plush and comfortable. * Air conditioning: We almost never used the air conditioner during the day. The breeze coming in the front door and out the deck door was comfortable and brought with it a freshness we enjoyed. * Maid service: The maid service was excellent. There were fresh sheets and towels three times a week. * Buildings and grounds: The grounds keeper did an exemplary job of raking the beach sand in the mornings, keeping the stairways swept and bushes trimmed. * Problem: We had a problem when the safe would not open. The batteries needed to be replaced. An email to the condo manager got the problem resolved quickly. * Scuba diving: Best place in the world to scuba dive! We used Deep Blue and were not disappointed. We felt safe and well looked after as we explored the coral reef fishes and plants. * Restaurants: We ate out often and usually avoided the cruse ship crowd. Some of our favorites were El Coctelito, La Perlita (eat the Lion fish), Los Otates (cheap tacos), and Los Chilango’s (lunch, family owned home). * Bikes: We rented bikes from Cozumel Rent a Bike and stored them in a room just off the front gate. The bikes were delivered and picked up to our door. They were very good quality bikes. There is no need for a car if you stay at this location. We got everywhere by walking, biking or taking a cab. * Sight seeing tour: Arranged with the help of the manager, we took a tour of the famous Mayan ruin, Chichen Itza. The tour guide picked us up at the ferry in Playa Del Carmen. This tour was a great way to see a Mayan ruin. The tour included a swim in a cenote cave and a Mexican meal where the women cooked the pork on a griddle over an open fire."

  • Beautiful location. Feels like home away from home

"I almost hate giving my rave review of how wonderful this condo is and how easy the owner is to deal with :) . I would be so disappointed if the next time I want to book it all my dates were booked because this is such an awesome place.. especially for the price. The first communications with Diane about dates available were easy and I quickly felt like I was chatting with an old friend. She sent us a Fedex package filled with info on the island, the condo and tons of goodies to boot! Once we arrived in Cozumel, the condo was ready and waiting and we were wowed! Everything we needed was there! The snorkeling out front is some of the best we've ever experienced. The pool in the complex was where we hung out in the heat of the day and it was so relaxing. 5 days was not enough!! The A/C was nice and cool too! Something some guests in the complex had issues with in other units. The washer and dryer was fantastic. Beds were comfy which is a real treat in Mexico. I'm already looking forward to planning our next trip to Coz and I'll keep my fingers crossed Cantamar 202 is free for our dates! Thanks again, Diane! We had a ball."
