  • Heaven on Earth!

"We knew the place was going to be spectacular because of the photos, but the photos do not even give it justice! The views from the condo and from the balcony are stunning! We were walking distance to most of the amazing restaurants that we wanted to go and enjoy. We also never really had a problem finding a spot park our golf cart. I slept like a rock in the bed and had more than enough room for 5 of us in the condo! We will definitely return!"

  • Caribbean breezes, fantastic views, hospitality in heaps

"We stayed for a week mid-April on the upper Jacuzzi level. The entire house has good light, great breezes blowing through and a location that is easy to use as a navigation point for the island. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, we didn't use the other bedroom but I'd imagine it was the same. The master bathroom tub didn't have water, but no worries because the other bathroom had lots of hot water and good pressure. Eliot was a huge help to us, making us feel at home and answering any questions we might have about the island or the house. Lorenzo is your go to guy for doing a snorkel trip, sight seeing trip, really anything. He came and cooked some chilies on our gas stove and showed us how he made salsa verde. Everyday there was house keeping service which was unobtrusive and she did a wonderful job. Jimbo and Karen have found the perfect mix of people to care for their home. The customer care and fast response from Karen and Jimbo was terrific. Every question you could think of (and many you never thought to ask) were answered quickly and efficiently. We rented a golf cart for the week and that was one of the ways we were able to do all our adventuring. We both strongly suggest splurging and renting a golf cart for your stay. We ate several times at Mango but Rolandi's was our favorite place to eat. We stopped at many places north, south, east and west on the island and never had a bad meal. The turtle farm was a fun visit. We never made it to the ice bar, but drove past it many times. We saw small paisley colored sting rays in the water and a huge group of clown fish off of the back patio."

  • Fantastic!

"This condo is great! THE PROS: 2 king size beds 2 bathrooms, both with great walk-in showers complex is very well thought out - you don't have much noise from the unit above or next to you & there's great attention to detail - the space is well used well stocked with kitchen supplies, paper products, beach towels, etc washer and dryer plenty of space by the pool (and we were there in the busy season) quiet atmosphere - definitely not a party crowd the staff is always on site and very, very helpful - they are always doing maintenance and grounds-keeping but not in a way that's invasive there's a code for the door so we didn't have to worry about carrying a key walking distance to a beach restaurants is nice for lunch surprisingly good selection of movies through the cable TV (most have English subtitles) THE CONS: (these are very minor) the hot tub is funny - you have to push a button every few minutes to get hot water - so it was cool most of the time the back (2nd) bedroom lacks privacy (you can easily see in and out through the sliding glass door) the beach out front is small and not a swimming beach The complex houses 27 units and is very well thought out. This unit is on the 2nd floor on the north side of the building. The building is laid out in a way that you can hardly see or hear anyone from the other units when you are on your balconies. I was impressed with how well stocked everything was (laundry detergent, trash bags, cleaning supplies, hair dryer, extra pillows and blankets, cooler, beach towels, plastic cups for by the pool, etc) Drinking water is provided which is very convenient. I'd recommend renting a golf cart for your entire stay (the owner will arrange that for you) and have some groceries arranged to be in the unit before your arrival. If you have any issues during your stay, the staff is right there to fix it - we had a small problem with a light that they fixed same day. Also the battery in the safe died and it was changed within the hour."

  • Always a fantastic time at Casa Mimosa

"My friends and I just returned from 7 days of absolute paradise at Casa Mimosa. From the minute we arrived on the island everything was taken care of. Our group of four couples can't say enough about Casa Mimosa. The house itself is huge and has one of the best pools on the island. The king size beds are incredibly comfortable. The house and grounds were spotless along with the pool. Gaspar the care taker had pre arraigned golf carts for us which were at the house upon arrival. Whatever you may need Gaspar is there to help. I have stayed on the island for over 7 years and can say Casa Mimosa is my favorite place on the island. I can't say enough about the house and the way it is maintained in such a professional manner. I look forward to hopefully returning next year as our group of four couples can't wait to come back to Casa Mimosa."
