  • Love Xaman-Ha

"My husband and I have stayed at Xaman-Ha for the last seven years and this is the second time we have stayed in condo 7106. It is very clean and comes with a kitchen that has everything! The view from the double terrace is breathtaking. The condo is decorated very nice. The staff is always friendly and does an outstanding job. Over the years we have made several friends from all over the world and many times these friends have been back to Xaman-Ha at the same time as us. The only disappointment that we had this time was that washing towels, linens and changing the beds were not included unless you wanted to pay extra or stayed more than 8 nights. I didn't see this in the property info and after talking to several people at the pool there are too many other condos to select from that still includes this service. I know next year we will go back to Xaman-Ha, but to a different condo. It's not fun doing laundry on vacation!"

  • Location, location, location! Great value!

"We stayed for 12 days and this condo had absolutely everything we could ask for. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a crockpot, programmable coffeemaker and plenty of pots and pans and utensils. The owners thought of just about everything. Comfy beds and warm showers too. Washer and dryer were very handy and efficient. The property managers were excellent hosts and we arrived to find a gift basket and cold drinks in the refrigerator. Very close to the beautiful beach of Playacar and 5th avenue restaurants, but on a quiet street away from the buzz. Just Perfect! Beautiful rooftop views for your morning coffee. Highly recommend this condo!"

"PH2, The Elements, Mary (owner), and Nancy (concierge) were all just amazing! Mary answered all of our questions prior to our stay via text, phone calls and emails. She made all arrangements for our shuttles to and from airport which was really nice. Nancy was there to greet us and explain everything about the condo. As we were unpacking Mary's neighbor dropped off a wonderful welcome tote full of goodies from Mary. The condo had absolutely everything we needed. The pool area was extremely nice, however, chairs were limited. Early morning is best time to secure one. The beach was not what we were used to but after a short walk we found Mamita's Beach Club. The beach there was just beautiful and we could rent Hobie Cats, jet ski's, etc. there! I would gladly recommend this condo complex to anyone wanting to visit Playa Del Carmen. It is just a short walk to 5th Avenue where you will find all the shopping and restaurants you could ask for. (One of our favorites was: Quinta De Piedra) Thank you Mary for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Only one suggestion for condo: More bathroom lighting."

  • Wonderful stay!

"Dayna and David were quick to respond to my emails and were easy to work with. I had a lot of questions because we haven't been to the area before and they were very helpful! Upon arrival we were upgraded to a nicer room without any additional charges which was a pleasant surprise. The entire resort is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Staff is very helpful and readily available. The resort is spread out a bit but they have shuttles that take you throughout the resort. We never really waited to get anywhere all week. The Mayan Pool area was lovely. It is well staffed and they have daily activities around the pool. The bars are reasonably priced and happy hour is a real deal. The food poolside was good too. For a large resort it was very reasonably priced. If you want to venture out of the resort, taxis and public transportation are easily accessed. We went into Puerto Morales and then all the way down to Tulum. I'd recommend renting from the Bain's as they were very friendly and helpful and this resort was a treat to stay in."
