  • Good all round choice

"This condo development has excellent location, easy walk to everything yet out of the party noise zone, so sleep is good. Beautiful ocean views and beach is picked up daily. It's one of the older (first) developments and it's showing some age/wear, but very clean and well maintained, excellent grounds security. WE would have appreciated longer operating hours at the pool bar/snack shack--It closes up at 3-4 pm and there are no other food options in complex. Additionally the menu is very limited. Free morning coffee only extends to the contents of one smallish urn, which for some reason they don't replenish, even for people to BUY a cup. So no coffee of any persuasion available after about the first 30 minutes of breakfast service, period. No tea either. There are lots of stairs and no elevators anywhere in complex. This particular unit has had surface updates that are attractive. The owner and onsite mgmt cleaners were efficient to work with, no problems. The unit has attractive decor and well equipped kitchen . The least appealing characteristic is the 2nd BR (by front door entry). It's dark and kind of stuffy, with only one window that opens onto the common interior access corridor, so you don't want to leave curtains or glass open for either light or air. With forceful warnings throughout unit not to run AC below 84 degrees(if do and are "caught" by the cleaning mgmtstaff that drop at no preset time your $200 security deposit will be forfeited). Since weather was not oppressively hot at time we visited, this wasn't horrible, BUT in hot summer I think it would be a problem. Likely OK for kids, but adults will not be wild about this. Sheets and towels were good quality, but limited to one bath and hand towel per person (how 'bout one extra for hair?) , and no wash cloths. Nice enough bathroom shampoo, conditioner and soap. Overall nothing Fancy, but comfortable relaxed and OK value for money paid. We would do it again."

  • Newly Engaged At Casa Milagro (Ross Jefferson & Julianne Maroun)

"Words can't explain the memories that were created at Casa Milagro. The house was beautiful and we fell in love with the modern but decorative style on the inside and outside of the house. There were 8 of us total staying in the house and we all not only felt comfortable but we stayed in many nights and had some of the best times on the property. This house will always hold a special place in my heart. As I have been told my engagement to Julianne (my fiancé ) was the first engagement at the house. We wanted this special memory to take place outside of the house. I was surrounded by my loved ones, we set up candles all along the pool and music playing. She was suprised but because the atmosphere we were all in was so perfect and beautiful all of my family got emotional. That week spent at Casa Milagro was the best week I ever had!!! To those who are looking to go on vacation I highly recommend saying no to all inclusive resorts and book a week or two at this amazing property. Like I said before words cannot describe my experience at that house, good thing my brother is a photographer and is almost done with a video of all the great memories that were captured through the video camera lens!! I absolutely cannot wait to go plan our second visit st Casa Milagro."

  • Practical, cozy paradise...

"Wonderful, whymsical space near fifth avenue-but not too close, giving you the conveniences without the loud, after hours mayhem that is quite noisy in the condos and hotels around fifth. This house is a lovely, pretty little gem-with all the conveniences and privacy that make your stay special. My daughters thought they were in a castle, and loved the pool-and the birds singing every morning. The bedrooms are ample, and there was plenty of room for our family of five to spread out-even have alone time if needed. We loved the rooftop seating, but it could be more fun with a bit more furniture. Everything else we felt lie it was a dream. I only wish the photos of this property were more flattering-its waaaaay prettier in person."

  • A Great Place!

"Just got back from Playa after a week's stay. This condo is very well-located, easy walking distance to Fifth Avenue, restaurants, shopping. Super beach. The condo itself is just as advertised, and the owner's information about the facility and the area was both accurate and helpful. The owner was very accommodating. Condo was clean, well-equipped, reasonably appointed, and secure. Playa Del Carmen is a safe city, and we roamed about on foot and never felt uneasy. Very quiet resort, and the staff were also very helpful. We ate out mostly, or cooked in-house. Resort food was, well, resort food. They might boost the wifi signal a bit too :). All in, a great vacation."
