  • Perfect for Celebrating with Family and Friends

"Overall the experience at La Perla Blanca was great. During the booking process, I had multiple questions and Giorgio the owner answered all of them. The booking process was very easy, online and Giorgio provided very timely confirmation. The house is exactly as pictured, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The house is very modern, with a washer and driver, clean sheets, and fully outfitted kitchen and grill. The private pool was wonderful and clean, and we spent a lot of time there. The pool has multi-colored party lights that kick on after dark, but they weren't too bright and didn't disturb our sleep. The location of the house was great too; about 5-10 minutes from downtown and 5-10 minutes from the beach. The only negative is that because Playacar is a residential area, there are no nearby beach clubs. But we were happy to walk into town to find those. The house is equipped with beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen has most necessary equipment and basics, but there were a few staples that we ended up buying for the house including a corkscrew, cooking oil, etc and left there. The wifi and hot water worked great while we were there. Sergio, the house manager, was very responsive and answered all our questions. He also helped coordinate transportation and day trips via his contact. He also helped us arrange for a homecooked meal one night, cooked by his mother Laura. She is an AMAZING cook, and you should definitely ask for the chicken mole and her specialty pork dish, if you have time. If her chicken mole were packaged and available for international shipment, we would be her first customers! Absolutely no complaints. Thanks Giorgio for providing a great setting for a birthday celebration!"

  • Great location, great view of ocean from deck

"Really loved sitting on deck with beautiful wood table and chairs and taking in view of ocean. Ideal location on beach. Not crowded at all. Loved pool and sitting in water at pool bar especially at happy hour. Close to infamous 5th ave shopping area but far enough away to experience complete Tranquility. Relatively easy 25 minute walk to Walmart for groceries. Take taxi back but negotiate fare prior to getting in - should be around 60 pesos. We enjoyed walking the immediate area with ultra luxurious homes. Felt very safe in evening. Overall we give this condo 5 stars for the Playa car area. Good kitchen, supplies and all needed amenities."

  • Fantastic place!!

"I can't say enough about how wonderful this house is. We were a group of 8 and we stayed one week. The location was perfect. Literally on the beach. We enjoyed the small pool which had a view of the ocean. The house was well appointed without feeling uncomfortably fancy. It has everything you need. Highly recommend this house."

  • Absolutely Perfect

"I recently spent a week at this beautiful home over the Thanksgiving vacation with my wife, daughter, and her fiancé. I have been renting homes for a number of years, and I have to admit, this is the most impeccably clean and amazingly furnished home that I have had the pleasure of renting. I love to cook and this house still had more pots, pans, glasses, dishes, and utensils than I have at my own home. You could probably have a party for twenty without running out of dishware. Karina the housekeeper does a great job cleaning and straightening up. Paty was always available and helpful for any need. The chefs cooked a great meal and gave me some pointers on Mexican food preparation. The beach is only a few minutes away, and the house is equipped with more beach towels than you can carry, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrella, coolers, and various toys for the beach. One thing I liked about this house was the amount of lighting, its prodigious. I have been in some homes that were very dimly lit. The different living spaces allow for plenty of privacy if you are traveling with another couple or two. My daughter spent plenty of time on the rooftop lounge. The beach is as nice as the beaches I have stayed on in Aruba. The closest person to me on the beach was usually 20-50 feet, not crowded at all, quiet, and no vendors. Water was never that rough, mostly fun. Walk into beginning of town about 10 minutes, but a little longer to where the action is. Taxis always passing by at the end of the block, even at 6:30 in the morning. All in all, I can’t honestly think of anything else I would have wanted in this house. The owner is a pleasure to talk to and will answer any questions you may have. I would definitely return if my vacation took me back to Playa."
