  • gorgeous apartment and wonderful area

"We stayed early September. Place was very clean and beds are super comfortable. The place is gorgeous. Magda, the property manager, provided an extra mattress for our little one and made us feel welcome. She also showed us how to watch shows in English and replaced a faulty coffee maker the next day. The pool is gorgeous and property well maintained. My husband loved the tennis courts. It's really about a 20 minute walk to Playa del carmen but taxis are frequent and inexpensive especially in the heat of day. We would definitely come back. Some minor area of improvements would be for the owner to equip the penthouse with a shaded area and some furniture. Currently, it's just 2 chairs and somewhat of a wasted space. If you want extra maid service other than the weekly, you should book a few days ahead as they're not always available . Also, it would be nice to have extra toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner samples provided. If you are more than 4 people, the Reef club, is extremely strict on have 1 'pass' for every 4 people. I would ask for the passes in advance as to not waste anytime. They're also strict on 9am-5pm and wouldn't allow me to walk through property so I could access the beach for a morning run."

  • We Loved Our Stay!

"We spent two weeks at this condo with our family. Everything was just as described by the owners. We were a short 10 min walk to 5th ave as well as the beach. The beach was the best beach in Playa as there were just white sands and minimal people. We were very impressed with how well the unit was stocked with so many features including two bikes with locks, beach chairs and umbrellas, and plenty of pool floaties not to mention masks and snorkels, beach bags, coolers, sun hats etc. The condo was updated with comfy new furniture (and beds), and was impressively spacious! The management always responded immediately to our needs and supplied us with plenty of fresh drinking water upon request. The owners called the day we checked in to insure everything went smoothly and to see if there was anything we needed for our stay which we were very impressed by their personalized care. We will definately come back to this condo on our next trip to Playa and have already recommended it to our friends and family."

  • Fantastic!

"I was very impressed with Casa Milagro. The house had everything you could need or want! It even had bandaids (which I forgot), which was very helpful for my little ones. Everything went very smoothly, from the pick up at the airport, to the chef's meal waiting for us upon arrival. Paty, was very helpful, and was always available for any questions we had whether it was about the house, or where to find the best local pottery. The beach is a short walk away, as well as the town, and very manageable, even with young kids. I'd have to say my favorite spot, besides the beach, was relaxing underneath the palapa, reading a book, while the kids swam. My only concern with the house was with young children, you have to be cautious of the railing upstairs, since it is not made to keep the little ones from falling. This was easily solved for us by keeping our little ones in the first floor bedroom. If you have any hesitations about renting this house, don't! I have stayed at many VRBOs and I would have to say that this was one of the best!"

  • Holiday Season in Playa del Carmen

"We travelled back to Mexico with our adult children to enjoy our first Christmas together since 2013. Casa Tortuga and the folks from Bric treated us well and the house met all expectations. The neighbors were great and helped quickly orient us to all the best places to eat and hang out while in Playa del Carmen (thanks Laverne & Jerry). The 5th avenue scene was a bit much for our taste but with the help from the locals we found a more relaxed pace off the toursit grid. A day at Tulum, Akumal and Xpu Ha beaches eased the madness of Playa. We would certainly consider going back to this property albeit at a quieter time of year. Casa Sophia and Bioorganics are both a must. Thanks Annabel for opening your home to us."
