Plaza Marina vacation rentals

STAYED FEB 1-FEB 7 2022*** Yes, just a couple of weeks ago we visited from Tampa, Florida! We absolutely LOVED this place. The manager Jean is super nice! You can reach her anytime. We will definitely be returning. PROS: The unit has an amazing outdoor space / balcony with a splash pool that overlooks the entire ocean, resort and volleyball courts next door, and terminal with tons of outdoor tables/seating/lounge chairs etc. It is a great extension to the condo unit. The unit provides 3 full jugs of clean drinking water, ice trays, and all kitchen equip for cooking. Double sinks in all the bathrooms. Tons of closet space. Master is at the front of the unit, not overlooking the ocean. But, I did not mind that at all. It was spacious, dark, quiet and clean. 4 Beach Chairs & a Cooler were a plus! 7 Eleven is literally 1 minute away on the side of the building and a pack of ice fits perfectly in the freezer. Washer and Dryer worked good. Cons: The welcome book was missing when we arrived. We did not know how to operate the gas oven properly or where to take out the garbage. But, Jean sent someone right away to show us the oven instructions. The trash is dropped behind the building on the left hand side going towards the street. And if you have cans! Dont throw them away. There is a little boy and lady walking around on the beach with bags collecting cans. Our last day, we took down 2 massive trash bags full of cans down to them and they were so happy for the cans to recycle. All in all, the condo unit was awesome. You are walking distance to everything Playa Del Carmen! When you exit the building to the left, you are 14 steps to the beach entrance, a Torta Restaurant, Senor Frogs, and the Ultra Mar Terminal Ferry counter to get you over to Cozumel. If you turn to the right, there is another small local restaurant and a few more steps takes you into the middle of the hustle and bustle of shopping and the mall. Blocks and blocks of shopping! If you love to barter, you will have a blast walking the streets here! I hope this review helps some of you folks out! Thank you Jean, we had so much fun!

It was wonderful!! Minor problems with internet and water but were address in a timely manor! Location couldn't be better!! Right on the ocean!!! Restaurants and shopping close by! Will stay again!!
