  • Our First Trip to Fripp Island

"We love our trip to Fripp Island, and the house was centrally located to all we wanted to do. The beach was beautiful, and easily accessible from the house. We rented golf carts, and loved exploring the island with them. The Nature Center was wonderful, and a must go to if you have kids. The Turtle Team was very informative and let us watch as they moved a nest. We all enjoyed seeing that. Am looking forward to returning and wouldn't hesitate rentin the same house again. It was very clean and comfortable."

  • Sandra Meza

"El departamento esta excelente, estuvimos muy agusto y nos sentimos como en casa, lo unico es que el internet no funciono, muy amables lo intentaron arreglar pero durante nuestra estancia no quedo arreglado. Y mi hermana comento que los cobertores y sabanas olian a guardado como que no las habian lavado. Para mi estuvieron bien. Muchas gracias por todo."

  • Perfect for Celebrating with Family and Friends

"Overall the experience at La Perla Blanca was great. During the booking process, I had multiple questions and Giorgio the owner answered all of them. The booking process was very easy, online and Giorgio provided very timely confirmation. The house is exactly as pictured, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The house is very modern, with a washer and driver, clean sheets, and fully outfitted kitchen and grill. The private pool was wonderful and clean, and we spent a lot of time there. The pool has multi-colored party lights that kick on after dark, but they weren't too bright and didn't disturb our sleep. The location of the house was great too; about 5-10 minutes from downtown and 5-10 minutes from the beach. The only negative is that because Playacar is a residential area, there are no nearby beach clubs. But we were happy to walk into town to find those. The house is equipped with beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen has most necessary equipment and basics, but there were a few staples that we ended up buying for the house including a corkscrew, cooking oil, etc and left there. The wifi and hot water worked great while we were there. Sergio, the house manager, was very responsive and answered all our questions. He also helped coordinate transportation and day trips via his contact. He also helped us arrange for a homecooked meal one night, cooked by his mother Laura. She is an AMAZING cook, and you should definitely ask for the chicken mole and her specialty pork dish, if you have time. If her chicken mole were packaged and available for international shipment, we would be her first customers! Absolutely no complaints. Thanks Giorgio for providing a great setting for a birthday celebration!"

  • Casa Schwartz Was Perfect!

"From initial inquiry to reservation and arrival/departure, Casa Schwartz delivered. I stayed in the this wonderful Playa del Carmen condo in August 2016 for a week with my wife and two teenage daughters and we had an excellent stay. Tracey, the owner and Volker/Noel the onsite manager and staff make it super easy to arrive and settle in. I had some trouble using Pay Pal and Tracey was very patient and helpful. The condo is located ideally on the quiet side of 5th Avenue close to Italian cafes (largest colony of Italians in all of Mexico is in PDC) and a wonderful Mexican chain café called Cacao Café... not to mention amazing Italian places everywhere. If Italian is not your thing, no worries, you can eat ANY kind of food in PDC for ANY kind of budget {guartanteed} ... though I suggest you explore the local taquerias which are amazing if you are a meat eater! You are close enough to supermarkets to walk or just take a $35 peso taxi ($2 dollars) to the Super Aki or Mega Super where you can load up on anything you might want to cook in the well stocked condo kitchen. You are close to miles and miles of beaches within a few blocks and can walk anywhere at any time because this little town is very mellow and super tourist friendly ... the place DESTROYS the "Mexico is Dangerous" myth propagated by the media. The condo is on the first floor and in a very accessible, safe and secure modern building. It has a screened-in back porch facing a nice well maintained pool to cool off. You want value, ease of use and comfort? ... stay at Casa Schwartz. Quintana Roo State and the Mexican Riviera are at your doorstep! Oh, you also have access to parking if you rent a car ...if not, just use the multiple modes of public transport available in this wonderful country (from taxis to Collectivo Mini buses [great bargain] to ADO air-conditioned deluxe buses with movies) Whether you want quaint Mexico or developed strip mall Americanized amenities this condo is close to all of it but in the comforts of a place you can call cozy home when visiting PDC.
