  • Perfect for Celebrating with Family and Friends

"Overall the experience at La Perla Blanca was great. During the booking process, I had multiple questions and Giorgio the owner answered all of them. The booking process was very easy, online and Giorgio provided very timely confirmation. The house is exactly as pictured, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The house is very modern, with a washer and driver, clean sheets, and fully outfitted kitchen and grill. The private pool was wonderful and clean, and we spent a lot of time there. The pool has multi-colored party lights that kick on after dark, but they weren't too bright and didn't disturb our sleep. The location of the house was great too; about 5-10 minutes from downtown and 5-10 minutes from the beach. The only negative is that because Playacar is a residential area, there are no nearby beach clubs. But we were happy to walk into town to find those. The house is equipped with beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen has most necessary equipment and basics, but there were a few staples that we ended up buying for the house including a corkscrew, cooking oil, etc and left there. The wifi and hot water worked great while we were there. Sergio, the house manager, was very responsive and answered all our questions. He also helped coordinate transportation and day trips via his contact. He also helped us arrange for a homecooked meal one night, cooked by his mother Laura. She is an AMAZING cook, and you should definitely ask for the chicken mole and her specialty pork dish, if you have time. If her chicken mole were packaged and available for international shipment, we would be her first customers! Absolutely no complaints. Thanks Giorgio for providing a great setting for a birthday celebration!"

  • Beautiful Condo and Amazing View!

"My husband and I just had a wonderful experience staying in this Condo. The view is just spectacular! beautiful and private; you are definitely hit with the wow factor as soon as you are standing in front of that magnificent view and enjoying the cooling breeze. The condo has absolutely everything you may need for your stay. It truly felt like home away from home. It is extremely cozy, comfortable, right in front of Akumal Bay, in a very serene section, but a couple of minutes away from the main action of Akumal Beach, where people go to swim with the turtles. We stayed for 9 days, and probably six out of those nine days we had the beach to ourselves. You can opt to swim right in front of your condo and enjoy serene privacy, or you can drive approximately 5 minutes to the entrance to swim with the turtles. Response from Whitney was prompt via email, and she and her husband did everything to make our stay at the condo a great experience. The Wi-Fi signal was strong throughout and we didn’t have any blackouts. There is no conventional cable in the condo, but the main TV has Roku for the premium channels like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, HBO GO, Pandora, etc.; however, you need to already have an account with those services to be able to watch their content through the Roku. I happened to bring my Chromecast which I connected to one of the TV’s HDMI and it worked great; again, the Wi-Fi signal was strong enough to seamlessly cast from my smartphone/laptop to the TV. With the windows open, the tropical breeze flows deliciously throughout the condo and there were only a few nights that we felt the need to turn on the AC in the main area. There is already drinking water in the Condo which was replenished by the cleaning lady, Letty, whom was wonderful. We procured her services to have our clothes washed a couple of days before our return. She will knock on the door to ask if you would like cleaning service, and it is up to you how often you want it. We asked her to come by on the days we knew we were going to be out all day, and opted out for those days that we wanted to sleep in late and just relax. It was an amazing experience, perfect for romantic getaway and I recommend this condo for anyone that doesn’t have a problem going up the stairs to the third floor. I absolutely assure you that you will love it as much as we did."

  • Doesn't get any better than this!

"I travel south to the Maya Riviera about 2x/year and always rent a house on the water. This one has been my favorite so far. The location is outstanding, right between Akumal and Tulum and the lot is pretty private with a vacant one in between this home and Casa Soleada. The view cannot be beaten with a vast vista of Tankah Bay out the back, just steps to snorkeling, swimming or kayaking inside the reef. Weslin and Odalis were fantastic stewards making us feel right at home and respecting our desire for privacy. No need to eat out with this crew there to cook you the most delicious meals. The home is stocked to the nines so don't worry about water shoes, snorkeling gear, games or movies. You'll never regret booking Casa Playa Azul and I'll be back sooner than later!"

  • This is a great place for a family stay. Near the beach, near the resorts.

"We came to Playa del Carmen for our son's wedding in a nearby all-inclusive resort. Our party consisted of my wife and I, our two daughters' families (with three children under age 3) and another son. Resorts and children really don't mix so this place worked out well. Ulla, the property manager was great at giving us advise on logistics (she arranged for private transportation from airport for 5 different trips). Gladys, the housekeeper, also is a chef and cooked three dinners for us (she supplies the groceries, cooks and cleans up). The kitchen is well equipped. A dozen other nice properties surround a shared pool and tennis court. The beach is a couple blocks away via a locked gated approach and the resort row starts a block away. Taxis can be hailed on the street outside the front door for shopping sprees at nearby Walmart or Mexican markets. This place is better than the property description. Fans and A/C in each room. We had 10 for dinner one night. Great patio for breakfast, coffee or afternoon beer. Property contains a pavilion that one could entertain 100 people.Floors are tile and stairs and upper common area are open so rain will cause slipperiness."
