  • Perfection in Playa

"We rented E2 for our family's Fall Break getaway. It was the perfect spot for 4 adults and 2 children to enjoy everything Playa del Carmen had to offer. 3 bedrooms / 2 bath - security gated front and beach side. A beautiful beach is just steps away and an infinity pool that kept the kids (and adults) happy provides an amazing view. You're just a short walk from the many shops of 5th avenue - with restaurants to please everyone or cook in its fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of beach and bath towels. Only recommendation would be to add more wash cloths (only supplied enough for 1 day). The washer and dryer in the unit was a definite plus. Friendly and efficient housekeeping and pool / beach staff. Just a short walk to the Cozumel ferry, Playa's city park with nightly entertainment or Walmart for necessities. No need to rent a car as you're just steps away from everything. Location location location."

  • Minnesota family (first time out of country!)

"We stayed at Casa Price in April/2016 and absolutely loved our time there! It truly represents the "flavor of Mexico" from the moment you walk in the door. Our 15 year old daughter quickly found her special place in the hammock in the living room! The beach is gorgeous and truly just steps away. The casa had beach chairs and coolers to use, which we really appreciated. We noticed security driving around the gated community on scooters at all different times of the day. The streets are beautiful and lined with plants, trees, and flowers. We loved the peacefulness of the community! We used the Fisherman's Resort as a pick-up and drop-off for taxis, which we did at least a dozen times during our stay. It is located 5 houses down from the casa, a quick 5 minute walk but we also walked to 5th Avenue by both road and beach which was fun! We visited Xcaret (a must to experience) and Akumal Bay to snorkel with the sea turtles, which was awesome! We did not get to Tulum to see the ruins so it looks like we'll have to make another trip back to Casa Price! Darryl's email responses were quick and informative, thanks Darryl! We will always remember Casa Price because it was our very first time out the country, and it was a great choice for us, special place indeed."

  • Perfect vacation for 3 couples!

"Absolutely beautiful home located right on the beach, it was perfect for the three couples. We had rental cars, so we ventured to Akumel and Isla Mujeres during our stay. Personally I could stay by the pool or on the beach the entire week. There was plenty to do in the little town square. Bikes are provided to take the short ride into town, which we did and tried a new restaurant each night. Habaneros is a favorite. If you scuba dive, there is a Padi shop just up the beach called Wet Set. I have used them to dive several times and never been disappointed. There is so much to do and see, that we never once turned on the TV. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for gatherings and coffee in the mornings. It is just so perfect it is hard to describe, so you must experience it for yourself!"

  • Perfect Vacation

"Where do I start?... Pros: Booking Process – Easy and convenient. Working with Judson was an absolute pleasure and we really appreciate the savings and service we received by booking through Exotic. The Grounds – El Dorado Royale is a beautiful resort. The grounds are very well maintained with numerous pools, trails, beach, tennis court, gym, outdoor and indoor restaurants, etc. We enjoyed a lot of walks admiring the perfect weather and stunning views. In the afternoon, we would usually either swim or relax by a pool. The pools were clean, calm and there was certainly no shortage of them. The layout of the resort is very well designed. Despite the grand size of the property, even popular areas were never too loud or crowded. The Staff - Amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We felt pampered the entire time. The Food - Wow! I can honestly say that I’ve never had a Caesar salad as fresh and delicious as in Jo Jo’s. And Santa Fe Grill, I am positive would impress even Top Chef critics. Even after already eating gourmet meals all week long, we were astonished by the dinner at Santa Fe Grill. It was our last dinner at the resort and a perfect grand finale to our trip! Impressive! Cons: Going Back Home – After a full week back home, we are still struggling to adjust back to reality. Being so spoiled at El Dorado, we forgot how to cook, clean dishes, pay bills, etc. Have to re-learn it all over again. And deal with the pain of seeing $$ and $$$ figures on restaurant menus for items that do not compare in either quality or taste to the food and drinks we had at El Dorado. I think I am ready to go back. :)"
