  • Family Trip of a LifeTime!

"This was by far my favorite vacation with my family! I was a little concerned because we were traveling for the first time with my 1.5 year old out of the country but the US based property manager Britany was extremely helpful in helping us prepare for travel with kids (they accommodated us with high chairs and cribs onsite!) and offered us many helpful suggestions on where to eat or things to do. The house was also gorgeous with a great location! Its a very short walk into town with many restaurant choices. Its a very spacious property...with five bedrooms it could have probably accommodated an even bigger group than ours, but we were traveling with 6 adults and 2 kids and were very comfortable. There's a beautiful pool that backs up to the ocean with a rocky shore which we took strolls on several nights. There's also a beautiful balcony which is great for early morning coffee or late night glass of wine! There's also a heated hot tub which was great for us after we put the kids to bed. The full kitchen also makes cooking feasible if you decide to do that. We did cook one night and had all the amenities necessary to do so. The house cleaner was very helpful and even while she was there at the same time we were she worked in a way that we hardly noticed she was there. Truly this was our home away from home and I can't say enough about the experience! We hope to come back again one day soon!"

  • something for everyone

"This unit was the perfect size for my husband, myself and our teenage son. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo but it was spacious and well kept. It is private and very quiet with just a short walk to entertainment and better yet, the beach! The pools and grounds are well taken care of. This was our first experience with a vacation rental in Mexico and we were very impressed. Nels , was available pretty much whenever we needed anything and very helpful. We are looking forward to another stay at Rob and Sue's Chac Hal Al paradise! Thank you Rob and Sue for sharing your home away from home with us."

  • Gringo

"My family has been coming to PA for extended trips and the last 5 years we have stayed at Villa Del Mar Condos. Doug and his great staff have always rapidly taken care of any needs or questions we may have had. The condos have always worked well for us, clean, usually quiet and we like how convenient the are to PAs center. My son and I are divers and Aquanauts dive shop is a 5-minute walk. There are a couple of smaller markets in the town center plus a weekly fresh vegetable market and the supermarket is a quick 10-minute taxi ride. The pools been great for our grandson and he has made many new friends."

  • GREAT 3 WEEKS !....

"Our stay was for 3 weeks....Sept. 20- Oct. 11.... We were familiar with and had stayed previously in Puerto Aventuras before our stay. The condo is an upstairs, 3 bedrooms- 2 bathrooms- with a Golf Cart!!..., the master is really great with its own patio doors/view, in suite restroom also. Water pressure was fine in the condo with good hot water! Air conditioners worked fine. The kitchen/bathrooms just had been remodeled and were very nice...as was the entire condo overall. The fridge was fine and we stocked it with drinks and food items during our stay, it kept everything nice and cool. We would shop for main groceries at the Chedraui which was a short, $5.00 cab ride (each way). There are a couple convenience stores inside the complex where you can purchase water, sodas, beer, etc. We cooked every day there and the owner has the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and eat/drink with. Brand new electric stove worked great. In the living room you have a nice Television and Wi-Fi which both worked nicely. There also is that really nice view of the lagoon and the patio, which we took our coffee every morning. It also has a private, large roof top which was pretty neat, great views and the owner is in the process of getting some shade cover for it. There's a grill/bar area up there also but we didnt use it. There is a large washer and dryer in its own wash room...it worked great for us being there 3 weeks. Mark also makes available to use... floaties, life vests, snorkel equipment which was nice. You can also use the kayaks which was a lot of fun. The swimming pool was really pretty and in great shape during our stay! There's a beach a short 5 minute walk away which the Catalonia Hotel uses....be aware that anywhere in Mexico you can use the beaches free but not necessarily any of the chairs on a particular beach...you usually will have to pay to use any seating/shade that a hotel/beach club provides. The Catalonia as well as the other hotels inside PA have a "day pass" program so check into doing that a time or two. We used the Dreams hotel day pass a couple times and had a great time....they have the best beach as well. Otherwise we usually just tossed out a couple towels, our ice-drink bag and had a fun, free, beach day. Go check out the bay by the Mia Ruins....great snorkeling and very pretty blue water, usually hardly anyone there and it has guards roaming around....no charge. Great place/condo and would go again for sure!!!!"
