  • Love Xaman-Ha

"My husband and I have stayed at Xaman-Ha for the last seven years and this is the second time we have stayed in condo 7106. It is very clean and comes with a kitchen that has everything! The view from the double terrace is breathtaking. The condo is decorated very nice. The staff is always friendly and does an outstanding job. Over the years we have made several friends from all over the world and many times these friends have been back to Xaman-Ha at the same time as us. The only disappointment that we had this time was that washing towels, linens and changing the beds were not included unless you wanted to pay extra or stayed more than 8 nights. I didn't see this in the property info and after talking to several people at the pool there are too many other condos to select from that still includes this service. I know next year we will go back to Xaman-Ha, but to a different condo. It's not fun doing laundry on vacation!"

  • When Can I Go Back???

"Hi Doug, Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful Brisa Caribe. My family of 20 had everything they needed to have a wonderful vacation. The things you provided to us made it very comfortable and convenient for us. We had games and movies, play toys and floats for the pool, baby items such as high chairs and baby gates and much more. We never lacked for something to do! There are so many options for things to do nearby. Some of our group did Explore which was a favorite, some went scuba diving, we went to Tulum, even a trip to Cozumel. The local Mexican cooks were awesome! OH MY! I can’t even say enough about them. Worth every penny! What a treat it was to have tasty meals prepared for us. We tried out some of the restaurants in the area and the kids loved going to see the dolphins, sea lions and manatees. The staff were very helpful. We really appreciated the cool towels and chips and salsa when we arrived. I love your decorations and artifacts from around the world. They are so unique! Negatives--having to go home after a week! The use of a washer/dryer would be helpful."

  • Beautiful, relaxing, quiet getaway

"I was looking for a relaxing and quiet place to recharge. This place was perfect. I go to Mexico 1-2x per year from all inclusive a to boutique hotels...and loved this place. Would definitely stay here again. If you're looking for nightlife, this is not the place. Beautiful pool, spacious condo, and loved keeping the bedroom window open to hear the waves while I fell asleep and first thing when I woke. It was an easy walk into town for dinner and a few groceries...although we really couldn't find the shortcut path. The only downside was the Internet was spotty and the beach wasn't well-groomed and not great for walking or running."

  • Perfect for the kind of Mexico trip we wanted

"We had a really great trip, and our decision to stay at your place in Chemuyil made for a much more authentic Mexican experience than most families get. It also saved us money that we were able to spend on fun experiences in the area. It’s pretty hard to pull off and afford a good international vacation with 5 kids, but your house made it all work. The location on the park, across the street from the grocery store, and just down the way from Leo’s and La Palapa was great. It was fun seeing the Quinceneara festivities one evening, sitting on some guy's front patio watching him make delicious fresh breakfast empanadas for us, and just walking around town seeing how the locals live. And then, being so close to Xcacel Beach, Xel-ha, Tulum (you should add Pollo Bronco to your recommendations list!), Akumal, and Coba was perfect. The house itself was a great setup for us. Having so many rooms to spread out in was very nice, and the 3rd and 4th floor decks were a cool extra touch. As Ryan notes several times, this is not a pristine, sanitized resort kind of a trip. It's a lot closer to real Mexico, but still manageable for gringos with limited Spanish. Barking dogs, roosters, geckos in the house, some trash in the streets...but for just over $100 bucks a night, and so close to so much great stuff? I'd highly recommend it to a family looking for culture and adventure."
