  • Fantastic time at Villa Marinera

"We had a fantastic time at Villa Marinera. There was a lot of things to do, and Lara was very helpful to suggest things and help us with the booking. taking the boat with captain Victor was fabulous, the chef Mauritio took such great care of us and prepared some excellent food. We were 10 people and there was room for everybody. A couple of more sunbeds would have been great, but otherwise everything was just wonderful!"

  • Fantastic Penthouse

"The Penthouse exceeded all of our expectations! The terrace is huge and has a spectacular view. It is the perfect place to entertain or just relax. We had several dinners at the beautiful outdoor dining area under the palapa. Both the terrace and the indoor spaces were well furnished and equipped. The building itself is well maintained and the staff is friendly. The pool and beach areas are beautiful. We are a family of six adults (three couples) and the penthouse was perfect. The building is walking distance from the marina area and many good restaurants. The owner is easy to contact and work with. We highly recommend this fantastic penthouse."

  • Great Ocean Front View

"Cooking Breakfast in an open view kitchen with a big island with an ocean view was priceless. The condo is spacious, its decoration is very beautiful, white, and minimal to feel relax. the View is magnificent and hearing the ocean even better. Every person of our family that sat on that ha-mac will fall asleep beautifully. The property has an elevator , so it was nice bringing up and down suitcases or grocery. Jessica responded with a good service to all our extra requests. (Like a cleaning person for everyday) Thank you."

  • Excellent week at Condo Delfin!

"Just returned from a fantastic New Year’s holiday visit to Condo Delfin in lovely Puerto Aventuras for our family of four (two adults, two kids ages 12 and 14). The apartment itself is incredibly spacious, modern, and clean. There is a large kitchen and living area (open floor plan) that leads out to a lanai that is the full width of the unit. On the lanai there is a nice table for four, with views of the pool area and the dolphin show at the Dreams Resort. The bedrooms are huge, each with their own full bath, and the master bedroom features a walk in closet with beach chairs (2), toys, games and umbrellas (beach and rain type). The mattresses are firm (how we like them) and there are plenty of pillows for those that like extras. A full washer and dryer meant that we could pack very lightly for the week, washing clothes as we needed to. The unit is air conditioned, which we used sparingly as electricity is not included in the rental rate (for reference, our electricity cost was $50 USD and we used the A/C all night, every night). The pool area (and pool itself) is big, and we never found it crowded even during the one of the busiest weeks of the year. The condo is well located within the gated village of Puerto Aventuras (PA). It was only a short 5-10 minute walk to the village center, with many choices for dining (we recommend “The Pub”) and shopping. Even in this tourist, ex-pat centric neighborhood, we were blown away by the low cost of the restaurants (never more than $50 USD with two rounds of drinks, appetizer, and tip included). This is surely due to the strength of the Dollar at the time of our visit (~21 Peso=1 USD). We ate in the village every night as we did not feel like dining after a long day at the beach or by the pool. For lunches and snacks, be sure to visit the farmers market in the village center (held every Wed and Sat). Super cheap and very high quality. Insiders tip: near the cash registers there are coolers with the most amazing fresh squeezed juices we’ve ever had. I think it was 30 Peso for a 1 L bottle of fresh squeezed orange juice-AMAZING! The closest beach was found through the lobby of the OMNI hotel, probably a 15 min walk from Condo Delfin. Decent beach, but better to go off site if you plan to spend the day there. We recommend Xpu Ha, a short 5 min drive south of the Highway 307 entrance to PA. There is a 40-80 Peso entrance fee per person, but it is a great beach in that it is wider than most others."
