  • Far Exceeded Expectation

"Our jaw dropped when we entered Laguna del Mar. It was absolutely stunning and suited our group perfectly. Quinta Luna is perfectly maintained with incredibly hard-working and responsive staff. It felt very private and we loved having the pool right off our veranda. We rented a car, did all our grocery shopping across the highway, and enjoyed downtown "PA" each evening. Would return in a heartbeat!"

  • GREAT 3 WEEKS !....

"Our stay was for 3 weeks....Sept. 20- Oct. 11.... We were familiar with and had stayed previously in Puerto Aventuras before our stay. The condo is an upstairs, 3 bedrooms- 2 bathrooms- with a Golf Cart!!..., the master is really great with its own patio doors/view, in suite restroom also. Water pressure was fine in the condo with good hot water! Air conditioners worked fine. The kitchen/bathrooms just had been remodeled and were very nice...as was the entire condo overall. The fridge was fine and we stocked it with drinks and food items during our stay, it kept everything nice and cool. We would shop for main groceries at the Chedraui which was a short, $5.00 cab ride (each way). There are a couple convenience stores inside the complex where you can purchase water, sodas, beer, etc. We cooked every day there and the owner has the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and eat/drink with. Brand new electric stove worked great. In the living room you have a nice Television and Wi-Fi which both worked nicely. There also is that really nice view of the lagoon and the patio, which we took our coffee every morning. It also has a private, large roof top which was pretty neat, great views and the owner is in the process of getting some shade cover for it. There's a grill/bar area up there also but we didnt use it. There is a large washer and dryer in its own wash room...it worked great for us being there 3 weeks. Mark also makes available to use... floaties, life vests, snorkel equipment which was nice. You can also use the kayaks which was a lot of fun. The swimming pool was really pretty and in great shape during our stay! There's a beach a short 5 minute walk away which the Catalonia Hotel uses....be aware that anywhere in Mexico you can use the beaches free but not necessarily any of the chairs on a particular beach...you usually will have to pay to use any seating/shade that a hotel/beach club provides. The Catalonia as well as the other hotels inside PA have a "day pass" program so check into doing that a time or two. We used the Dreams hotel day pass a couple times and had a great time....they have the best beach as well. Otherwise we usually just tossed out a couple towels, our ice-drink bag and had a fun, free, beach day. Go check out the bay by the Mia Ruins....great snorkeling and very pretty blue water, usually hardly anyone there and it has guards roaming around....no charge. Great place/condo and would go again for sure!!!!"

  • Beautiful condo, Great Service, Perfect location

"We just returned from 8 nights in Puerto Aventuras. We rented through Jane. Her 1 bedroom wasn't available but she found us a 2 bedroom at very good rate. Thanks Jane! The condo was really nice and had every convenience. It was a ground floor unit and we liked having the landscaped back yard just a few steps to the pool. We bought the Omni beach membership for $125 that gave us full privileges plus a 25% discount on food and drinks during our stay. We have been to the Omni many times before and the beach had suffered from erosion the last couple years, but to our surprise they have completely restored it! There are many good restaurants in the village near Porto Bello and the Omni easy walking distance - you don't need a car. We usually visit Playa Del Carmen by walking up to the entrance of PTO and flagging down a "collectivo" - they run up and down the main highway every few minutes and only cost 20 pesos each way. We definitely plan on renting a condo from Jane at Portobello Grand Marina again!"

  • AMAZING!!! Bernadette - New Jersey

"This condo is beautiful and the pictures on the site and description are very accurate. It is even more beautiful in person. As soon as you enter the condo, you are in paradise. The views from the living room balcony/terrace amazing and you are transformed into vacation mode immediately. Then you walk into the MBR and more beautiful views. The kitchen is modern and has everything if you wanted to prepare a meal and not go out to restaurants to eat. There is also a grill on the terrace for your convenience. The property was very clean and well-maintained and Paula is the best. She made arrangements for me to have a cake at the unit when we arrived and I was able to surprise my husband for his birthday. She checked in with us and prior to arrival sent detailed information regarding activities, ground transportation, and anything else you would need. Also, in the unit, there is a binder with information on the area, restaurants that deliver, and activities. Paula was always available to answer questions, prior, during, and after my vacation ended. There are so many great restaurants in walking distance as this condo is in close proximity to the marina and every restaurant is there. We enjoyed the Pub, Hippos, Dos Chiles to name a few. You will find every culinary delight within walking distance to the condo. We didn't rent a car and managed to walk and see everything. I would totally recommend this property and look forward to returning next summer. Thank you Paula for a great and memorable vacation!"
