  • Paradise on earth

"This was easily the best vacation place I have ever been to. You will wake up, open the sliding doors to the balcony and wonder why you live in a city. The perfect breeze all day long, the perfect beach to soak up some rays (with private section for privacy and nice umbrellas), and the perfect town to grab drinks and great food. This town is untouched by obnoxious corporations on every corner -- it's the real deal. If you go into the town, there is a man named Jesus at a travel center that will give you a great deal on fun adventures -- Isla de Mujeres is supposed to be incredible, but they also have ziplines, RV's, etc. Do yourself a favor -- BOOK NOW."

  • Great condo!

"We had a fabulous time during our most recent stay. The condo was just as it was described. It was very comfortable and the furnishings wereally nice. The access to the pool and beach were the main reason we chose it and we were not disappointed! You can hear the surf when your lying in bed and that's just what I wanted! Enjoyed the small complex and meeting the other guests/owners. Easy walk to town by beach or can easily take a cab. The kitchenette was adequate for our needs (no oven)."

  • Excellent Condo in an intimate setting

"We rented this condo for 10 days over New Years. The booking process was seamless. Derek is very attentive to emails, answering all questions quickly. The payment through PayPal was seamless with no issues. Derek sent very detailed instructions for finding the property management company and then the condo. The condo itself is exactly as pictured. It is spacious with access to the deck off both the living space and bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and there was nothing that lacked. We cooked some meals in with ease. The beds are super comfortable, some of the best sleeps we have ever had on vacation. The property itself is small. the pool and hot tub are well attended as is the beach. Gustavo worked hard to keep the property cleaned and maintained. Even there was not a ton of seaweed, he was out there everyday raking it into piles and lugging it away by hand. Access to water is easy as there are no rocks in this particular area. Because of the adjacent port, the beach is quiet as there are few beach walkers. It is about 1.5 km down the beach to el Cid marina which is a good easy walk. PM town square is 1 km away and even though you have to walk around the port property, it is a safe walk. I will almost certainly be back at this condo in the future."

  • Fantastic accommodation and unbeatable view

"If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation then this is the place for you. The property is really well maintained. This unit is on the third floor and looks out over palm trees to the ocean. The view and sound of the waves is unbeatable. The condo is quite a walk from town if you are carrying groceries. There are no restaurants nearby so if you aren't cooking then you will need to go into town everyday. There is a wide variety of restaurants in town and we enjoyed our meals out. We walked back to the condo most nights after dinner. If you plan on doing the same then bring a flashlight. Taxis are plentiful and cost around 50 pesos. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, stove, fridge, and oven. There are lots of dishes, glassware, and pots so you are able to make your own meals. There is even a small charcoal BBQ on the balcony. We snorkelled from the beach and saw some small schools of fish. The water was a bit murky from the sand being stirred up by the waves. Our best experience snorkelling was from the public beach in town. Frank and Sherry (the owners) were great to deal with and responded quickly when we didn't have water. The small staff on site were available and easy to work with when we needed water and when the wifi went down. Overall we would highly recommend this VRBO. Chris and Laurianne"
