  • Best Vacation Ever!

"Last month my college girlfriends and I gathered for a long in the making reunion. We were all so excited we could have slept on the beach (although it’s been around 40 years since we did that!). Fortunately we were spared the camping adventure and ended up at Casa South Breeze in Puerto Morelos Mexico. Wow, we’re coming up in the world! I was totally blown away by the place. First of all I was impressed with the arched front door floating in the iron scroll work flanked by beautiful vines of bougainvillea. This opens to a brick patio landscaped with tropical plants and a seating area to relax in under the plants. This area leads to another impressive door lit by a huge Mexican iron chandelier. I stepped into a Mexican villa decorated with tile floors, comfortable furniture; looking out to the pool and 180 degree ocean view. The kitchen is large with a stunning tile mosaic of fish as a focal point. Eight people could easily fit here all working at the same time. This kitchen has access to a screened-in outside working kitchen for grilling. The porch also has a table for outside dining; and always the magnificent view of the pool and ocean. There is a master bedroom on the first floor with a Mexican tile bath, and a private screened-in porch with chairs and hammock; again with the pool and ocean view. The rest of the bedrooms (3) are on the second floor and 2 have private baths. What I love about this place is the house has many architectural angles in the back, allowing each of the upstairs rooms to have their own balcony and 180 degree view of the pool and ocean. Every room has beautiful windows that open for a great cross ventilation of ocean breeze. I have enjoyed the cooling colors in the house, the art work and the exquisite ironwork throughout. Even the kitchen sink is angled for the best view of the ocean. I have truly enjoyed every minute of my time here. You will feel at peace and enjoy all the beauty Mexico and Casa South Breeze has to offer."

  • Clean and Comfortable.....I would stay here again

"My wife and I recently stayed here for a 10 day vacation. The unit is clean, spacious and inviting. It has everything you need, including a washer and dryer. Some of the furnishings are a little tired and could use replacement but overall we were very happy with the unit. The unit even has WiFi service. More importantly, communication with the owner was great. She greeted us upon arrival and provided service that went above and beyond most VRBO hosts. The grounds and pool area are maintained daily. There are only 9 units in this development so securing a space by the pool is never an issue and the other occupants were always friendly and helpful. As past reviewers have said, its a good 20 minute walk into town however there is a taxi stand about 2 blocks away so getting around is very easy. We will definitely return."

  • A week in Paradise!

"Armando's house was even better than expected. It was well supplied with everything you need to get started, spotless and well organized kitchen area. There were several seating areas outside so you could be in the shade if you wished almost anytime of day. It was very easy to walk to the town of Puerto Morales which was wonderful.. exceptional restaurants etc. Armando was very generous with advice and helped to arrange a private snorkel trip for the 5 of us. It was a vacation stay to remember and I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here! Thank you Armando."

  • Very nice condo at reasonable price in Puerto Morelos

"We spent a week in this spacious condo. Is is a very comfortable accommodation with good beds, nice furniture and a well equipped kitchen. It is bright , airy ( though there is good AC as well) and spacious. There are some obstructed views of the sea which is conveniently located a block away. The walk to town, restaurants and small shops is 10-15 minutes. There are many nice, relatively inexpensive places for food and drinks. The local ceviche is particularly wonderful. The aspects of this property we did not like is that the pool and grounds are quite small and closed in by several buildings. When it is very windy at the beach , we like a pool setting. Also the terraces are very small and cannot accommodate a table for meals. Since we were on the 3rd floor, we had to have all our meals inside. While in PM, we would also recommend a trip to the jungle spa and a snorkeling excursion. You do not need a car but if you want to explore, daily rentals are available in PM for $40-$50/day"
