  • Beautiful Condo on the quiet North End of Cozumel.

"I was told we were the first renters of this beautiful 3 bedroom 3.5 bath condo. A little skeptical since there were no reviews, but WOW we soon were pleased with our choice. Kitchen had Everything we needed to cook when we wanted to. A close 1 mile walk to town or $4 Taxi ride. Within 2 blocks a great restaurant at The Coral Princess and another one at The B Hotel. Pedro , the concierge at The Coral Princess was always helpful with Cozumel tours and excursions. The building and the condo had its own maid and maintenance people and all were very nice and there when we needed. The condo Wifi was great. If you want a beautiful condo and quiet stay, this is your place. The pool and the stairs to the ocean for snorkeling were great. Tips; Pesos for Taxi rides was much cheaper than US dollars, Dollar-Peso exchange rates seemed better at the ferry pier, but you do need your passport. Dish Cable was great, no English, but our Ruko/Netflix boxes worked great with the Wifi. Overall our 30 day Cozumel stay was amazing. Definitely would return to Casa Mima."

  • We Found Paradise in Akumal

"Stayed here July 2016- with my sisters, brother in laws, and our children. Loved this place and this was probably one of the best experiences I've had on vacation. Experiencing the sea turtles so close was amazing. We got to see and swim with so many turtles as well as see babies hatch and go to the water. The house itself is very nice and the cleaning staff is so awesome!! Everything was top notch! The location was exotic and private, and the views especially at sunset are amazing. I do recommend renting a car. We will definitely be making this a yearly vacation spot! Casa Ed!!! We had an amazing time at Casa Ed Akumal. Was so pleasantly surprised when we arrived, the place lived up to the advertising and more. From what my sisters say, They will never go to another all-inclusive after staying here! We seemed to relax to a whole different level on the roof top deck. For meals just 15 minutes drive towards Playa del Carmen to the Super Chedraui on the highway where we found everything we needed for meals. The caretakers Rosita and Rutilo were both fabulous, they attended to our every need and promptly addressed the few issues that arose. Will definitely be back again, thanks for everything. The accomadations were amazing. Very clean, comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with what was needed. Wonderful having your own pool and relaxing sitting area on top patio. We used kayaks, life jackets and even snorkel fins and enjoyed snorkeling right out from the property. Area was very quiet, relaxing, friendly and beautiful. Definitely would go back! In 2017"

  • Perfect, quiet location for R & R

"My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate finishing grad school, looking for a peaceful, quiet place to do absolutely nothing but sit, stare, drink beer, sunbathe and relax--we got exactly what we needed! The condo was just as pictured, if not better, and far enough away from town to be quiet and unspoiled by crowds, but close enough to walk into town. There's a little grocery about 1/4 mile up the way to get beer, some supplies, and it's about a mile or so into the main square to the full grocery store. It was pretty windy the whole week we were there (1/12-1/17), but still warm and wonderful. Never had to use the AC. Watching the pelicans graze low over the ocean was one of my favorite things. Buena Vida restaurant (famous for its bar swings) was about 1/3 mile up the road (maybe less) and our favorite for tacos each night. The pools aren't heated, so unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to use them when it wasn't above 80 degrees, but the last day was warm enough to dip in for a minute. Waking up to this view and hearing the ocean all night was an amazing experience and I'm already plotting how I can go back! Thanks Doreen, for giving us just what we needed after a stressful 3 years!"
