  • Awsome time

"I have to thank Brain for taking my booking. Had a great stay and Bruno the caretaker was there just the right amount of time checked in with us but left our group alone other than to take care of any of the things we needed. The day we arrived Bruno was there to meet us at the door and showed us the property. Had us set up with a local cell phone and showed us how evey thing worked. House was great and the pool was the center piece of our time in Puerto Morelos. There was a few days of heavy winds and we were well protected in the pool area allowing us to still enjoy our time on those days. Brain set us up with his friend with a dive shop and they picked us up right on our own beach. It was awsome. The trek into town was a short trip and it was a concern when we rented but in the end being away from the town gave us lots of privacy and beach where we saw almost no people. Great house will definitely rent it again if I ever make it back down that way. Thanks for a great stay."

"This was a family vacation consisting of 5 couples and 3 young men. The set up was perfect for everyone. Of particular note is the cook and her staff. They were always on time, friendly and the food was delicious. The meal plan is highly recommended by this group. The villa's floorplan is ideal for a multi-family retreat and the lower floor was perfect for the 3 young men, giving the couples privacy. The ensuite bedrooms are great. The outdoor entertaining deck and pool area, along with the private beach area were perfect, with the exception of the slippery tile floors on the patio and mid-floor area. We used the towels to make a safe transition from the pool deck to the covered patio and indoors. Having both outside and inside stairs to the upper level was also a plus. That way you didn't have spend much time on the slippery floor to get to your room. A few recommendations would be: place 3 bath towels in the bathrooms, add some hooks to the baths or bedrooms for suits and towels to dry. Some overhead fans on the outside patio would be a big plus. Warn guests that on days the cruise ships are in port, it gets very busy in front of the villa. Water temperatures in the baths were erratic. Overall, this villa far exceeded our expectations and worked perfectly for this group. We are actually considering booking it again in a few years."

  • Perfect summer rental home!

"We were hosting our daughter's destination wedding at the local church in Playa Del Carmen - this house was perfect for hosting our wedding party, rehearsal dinner and breakfast! It is perfect, cosy and beautiful. My husband and I loved breakfast on the rooftop patio We had our own private beach and a picture perfect view of the Carinbean Sea! Our teen son loved the pool at the front of the property. The house is well maintained and looked after by a local couple who will ensure you have an amazing stay! Can't recommend it highly enough!"

  • Perfect spot in Playa!

"Can't even believe how much we lucked out finding this place for our first Playa del Carmen experience! We are not the type of people to go for the big resorts. Why go to a foreign country only to spent time around other travelers? Everything about our stay was perfect! The condo is clean and modern, with a partial ocean view from the living room and balcony. The location is as good as it gets- right between a fantastic section of beach and La Quinta. Even though it is so close to the action, the street is quiet and very safe, and there is very little traffic. Some great restaurants nearby. Do not miss La Cueva del Chango! Seriously, this place is even better than the pictures suggest. The rooftop infinity pool is to die for! We spent hours and hours up there, sometimes having the whole area to ourselves. We also met some great folks up there. There is a swim-up DIY bar up there, which is perfect. You dont have to rely on overpriced drinks like you would find at swim-up bar at a big resort. From up there, your view of the ocean is amazing! Only one property between Pueblito Escondido and the beach, and it is all thatched roof cabanas, so it feels very tropical and romantic. Jose was very hospitable, and was there on time to check us in and get us acquainted. We loved it so much we are already planning to return next year, though we usually make it a rule never to visit the same place twice. Seriously, this is the good life!"
